The Acquisition of Katy
Relaxing in the hot bath, Ellen revisited for the tenth time the operating plans that she and Frank had put together for Patty. She found no weakness in the plan and thus far it had all worked perfectly. She was hopeful that Patty would soon adapt, but she wasn’t worried about how long that might take. After all, Ellen thought, some people take longer than others.
Take Katy, for example. It took her about 10 seconds to adapt.
Katy was a young accountant who had come to E&F enterprises a few months back when she had been looking for work. The couple hired her in a flash, taking at once to the beautiful, recently graduated accounting student, giving her plenty of work and paying her well.
