The next week seemed to just pass by. The girls basically stayed up until I was due back at work. I was still waiting to hear from Enzo, but I knew it might take a while. I got a text from him telling me he missed me already, and he would video call me once they were all set up on his end.
Sophia was due to start work next week and she was really excited. I was able to convince Mike to put her on the same shift pattern as I was so we could travel together.
