“You as a lawyer? Believe me Ms., you have no chance at all. Better leave law school while you have the chance” he said arrogantly I stood up and face him with my might

“Am I asking for your opinion Mr. Arrogant” I was about to tell him another word when the Prof. suddenly came in. I look at him and caught him looking at me too and mouthed this words “It's was best for you”     

Days, weeks, and months have passed and I admit that I’m enjoying it the thing is the rivalry also intensified who would have thought that man was smart and he’s my biggest opponent  -----------

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­“Someone’s looking for you” 

“Let him in” then a middle-aged man came inside my office

“Attorney help me. I’ve been framed up. I’m innocent I haven't killed anyone. I need someone to defend me in court. And if you help me there is a great chance that the case will be dismissed. I’m begging you attorney please help me.”

“If you say you are innocent, and then let's prove it in the court” it’s time to shine -------------

This is the day I need to be presentable and I need to be professional

“This honorable court of the Republic of the Philippines with the Honorable Judge Clyde Salvador is now in session. All rise” Now I’m a bit nervous

“Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Calling the case of the people of the Philippines versus the accused. Are you both ready “I gulped 

 “Ready for the people, your honor,” the prosecutor said and looked at me with a playful smirk I was shocked I can't believe he's the prosecutor destiny is playful

After all

“Ready for the defense, your honor” I calmly replied

“Prosecution, would you like to start the opening statement?”

“Yes your honor,” he said and stood up 

“The evidence, in this case, will prove that on Tuesday, March 24 the accused killed the victim with a g*n” This will be a very tiring day  --------------------

 “Ladies and gentlemen, people in this court Case #0017 People of the Philippines versus the accused under Republic Act No. 7659 Section 6. Article 248. The jury has its verdict.”

"Your Honor, the members of this Jury find the Accused NOT GUILTY!" 

“Court is adjourned.”

I can’t believe I won my case. I proved someone’s innocent. 

I’ve beaten him for once and for all 

“Congrats attorney another case solved” I turn around and see the person I least expected. 

“What do you want Mr. Prosecutor?” I showed a streak of irritation in my voice. I was about to utter another word when he spoke 

“ Still as rude as ever Ms. Defense” then he closes the gap between, looks into my eyes, and held my hand 

“ Perhaps you remember RA. no 10344 which tells that Stealing is a crime. Then why stole my heart Atty.?” 

I can't believe what he's saying. Is he confessing or what 

" The first time I lied my eyes on you and I like you that time so I told you to leave that school. After all, I do not want to lead us into this situation where you and I will fight in court because I might lose the case on purpose and let you win. It's a good thing that your client is innocent" he kneeled in front of me and took out a small box

" Jill Santos San Juan make me the happiest guy in this court. Will you marry me?” A single tear escape from my eye I can't believe it 

I smile and look at him and said 

" Yes, Mr. Prosecutor I accept the terms and conditions" then he put the ring on my finger and about to kiss me when I stopped him 

"By the way Mr. Prosecutor I’m innocent cause I did not steal your heart 

you voluntarily gave it" he leans toward me and whispers something that made me blush

" One thing Ms. Defense if being hot was a crime you'd be charge guilty"
