Chapter-6

The room was cloaked in a dim, moody light, courtesy of the bedside lamp that played with the shadows on the walls. Magnus and I found ourselves ensnared in an awkward and tense embrace. She had wrapped her arms around me, craving my nearness, but her actions only seemed to fuel my irritation. My muscles tensed as I gently pushed her away; "Magnus, stay within your limits, don't push me," I warned, my voice betraying my frustration. Rising from the bed, I attempted to put some distance between us, but she was determined not to let go. With a tenacious grip, she pulled me back to her side, her fingers tracing circles on my bare chest. "I miss you, babe. It's only been two days, but it felt like an eternity," she purred in that seductive voice of hers. My patience was already wearing thin, and as Magnus's hand moved towards my cheek and then lower, she tried to open my pants. The audacity of her actions sent a surge of anger and disbelief through me. I couldn't fathom why she was pushing the boundaries so recklessly. In a swift and forceful reaction, I grabbed her hand, preventing her from going any further. The line had been crossed, and I could no longer tolerate her actions. With force, I pushed her away, and she went flying, colliding with the wall, her impact punctuated by a soft thud. The room was filled with a tense, charged silence as the consequences of her actions settled in. "Told you not to cross the limits, but I guess some people like you will never learn," I spat out, my anger palpable. I had clearly expressed my disinterest. "I'm not in the mood, and I won't be in the mood," I added, my voice laced with irritation. I could see the pain etched across her face, a stark reminder of the recklessness of her actions. She needed to understand that she had pushed my patience to its limits, and she had to bear the punishment. Third person P.O.V Magnus slowly got up from the ground, clearly in pain, and her gaze landed on the cracked wall. She had used her magic, which made sure that no one outside the room could hear what happened inside. Xavier was well aware of this fact. "Fine, now stop," Magnus complied, and she moved closer, taking a seat on the couch while maintaining some distance. She drew a deep breath and began speaking. "I talked to one of the witches who lives in the woods," Magnus said. Xavier interjected, "About what?" "About Aiden and how he can kill the Celestial Highness, the one who can control nature," Magnus responded. Xavier's full attention now rested on her, expecting important information. "What did she say?" Xavier inquired. "She said it's very difficult to kill the Celestial Highness. No wolf, witch, Lycan, or even a hybrid can take down the power of the Celestial Highness, who was a powerful tribid," Magnus explained. Xavier rolled his eyes in frustration and banged the bed hard. "I already know this. Give me something new, not the same old information," he said with irritation. "Can't you just listen, Xavier? I know you're impatient, but let me finish," she implored. "Now, where was I?" she wondered, trying to recall her previous point. "She told me that she could help us, but only if we bring something related to Aiden." Xavier questioned, "Something related, like things he used?" Xavier's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with thoughts of how to assist Magnus. "If she wants things he used, then I can arrange that easily," he said, his voice taking on a determined edge. His thoughts wandered to Rose's room, a place he hadn't ventured into before. The idea of entering her personal space intrigued him, igniting a strange mixture of curiosity. He wanted to feel her scent, and imagine her naked. Xavier's wolf, Drakon, chimed in, ‘While sneaking you can steal some of Rose's things which have her scent, like her used panties.’ As they spoke, Magnus noticed that Xavier seemed calm, as if he was no longer listening to her but was engaged in a conversation with his wolf, Drakon. Xavier intervened with anger, ‘Shut up, perverted wolf. This is my matter, not yours.’ Drakon continued, ‘Xavier, everything related to our mate is my business.’ Xavier explained, ‘Now it's not about Rose, but about Rose's father, so just mind your business and take a rest.’ Drakon protested, "No, don't block me!" Xavier blocked him and returned his focus to Magnus. "Have you finished talking? I'll tell you the rest. She didn't ask for Aiden's belongings." Xavier concentrated on Magnus's words. "So, what does she want to know about him?" Magnus replied, "She wants his body, his dead body, or at least a part of it, like a bone. We have to retrieve that." Xavier nodded, understanding the situation. "You search in the cemetery, and I'll search in Rose's house. Maybe I can find something important there." Magnus accepted his orders with a nod and moved away, noting Xavier's warning eyes. "Alright, I'm going." Xavier felt restless as he sat in the dining room with Hazel, Alex, Alpha Fenris, and Luna. His eyes scanned the room for the only person he cared about, his mate, his Rose.He could sense her faint scent, but it was not enough to calm his wolf. He wondered where she was and why she was not with him. Fenris noticed his anxious expression and smirked at him. Xavier craved to see Rose, to hold her in his arms and kiss her softly. He had no interest in anyone else here, only her. "What are you thinking, boy?" Fenris snapped him out of his reverie. "Nothing, Alpha. I'm thinking about my dad. I'm worried about his health. I hope he's fine." Xavier lied, pretending to be sad. "No problem, boy. Your father will be safe. As the future Alpha of your pack, you should control your emotions. You should kill them." Fenris said harshly. 'Sure, I will kill you. Challenge accepted.' Xavier thought to himself, but he just nodded his head. Fenris continued. "Your father told me that you are very shy and fearful. Don't worry, my pack members will help you. You can practice here. My pack has the best fighters. They will help you. From tomorrow, you will train with my son and learn everything from him. He is the strongest future Alpha in the entire pack." Fenris boasted. 'Now we have to train with this cunt?' Drakon said mockingly in Xavier's mind. Xavier tried to suppress his laughter and said, "Thank you, Alpha, for helping me and my pack. Our neighbor packs abandoned us, but you stood by our side." "Don't thank me, boy. Your father helped me when I was in a difficult situation. Now it's my time to repay his help." Fenris said. 'Is he talking about our father's death?' Drakon asked. 'I don't know. I have to find out.' Xavier said. Xavier glanced at Alex, who was busy kissing Hazel. Xavier glares at Alex, who is kissing Hazel passionately. He remembers what happened yesterday when Alex insulted his mate. 'He has no right to touch our mate, he pushed her and spat on her face. He disrespected our Queen, he should pay for that. No one can look at her, touch her, or scold her but us, she belongs to us. We will make him suffer more than he made our mate suffer.' Drakon talks in his mind and Xavier agrees with him. Xavier is cursing Alex with Drakon when he catches Rose's scent. He breathes in her sweet smell of lavender and cinnamon and closes his eyes, feeling calm and happy. Her scent gets stronger with every step she takes towards him. He could sense her presence as she approached from behind Xavier. ‘Hurry up, Angel! How much longer will you keep me waiting?’ he said to himself impatiently. Xavier couldn't help but think about himself at that moment. Rose arrived and began placing the bowls on the trolley. Her hands were just inches away from him. As she stood beside him, her scent became overwhelmingly close, making it difficult for him to control his emotions. He had the strong urge to push her against the table and kiss her plump lips, but he fought hard against his desires, using every ounce of willpower to restrain his impulses. When Rose moved to the other side of the table, he saw her for the first time in her maid's uniform. His breath caught in his throat as he admired her in the tight outfit, feeling a gulp rise in his throat at the sight. The uniform was tight, hugging her body perfectly, her perfect face, perfect plump lips, her breast, and her broad hips all perfect. He could sense her presence as she approached from behind Xavier. When Rose moved to the other side of the table, he saw her for the first time in her maid's uniform. His breath caught in his throat as he admired her in the tight outfit, feeling a gulp rise in his throat at the sight. When Xavier noticed Alex eyeing Rose with the same desire, anger surged within him. He couldn't stand the thought of another man looking at his mate in such a way. "Make sure she never wears this uniform again, starting tomorrow. This uniform is only for our eyes, not for anyone." Drakon said sternly. Xavier nodded, promising to enforce Drakon's request and protect Rose from any unwarranted attention.
