Meeting Shanze

Lyra's Pov

"What do you mean he's dead?" I asked as I got up, running towards the Hall of fame to confirm if what the guard had just said was true, I was accompanied by Alpha Damian shortly, and some other royal palace guard.

On getting there, I hastily made a stop, and indeEd the guard wasn't lying, I saw Alpha Alexander lying lifeless on the ground, his face was pale and white, no form of oxygen went in through his nose.

"Summon the Royal Physician at once!" I ordered, I was afraid of loosing him so early, if he dies then he won't get to suffer the way I sufferred, I was going to show him that there was something more painful than death.

"Excuse me, miss Lyra!!" That was the voice of the royal physician, thankfully he was nearby which made him to come quickly...

That's what the royal guard indicated to me.

"Damian!!" I called Damian to the side, where no one could hear what we were saying.

"This is exactly what the moon goddess said.... THOSE YOU LOVE WILL PART FROM YOU, ANS GRIEF WILL COME TO YOU!!" I quoted

"Nah, it can't be true!!" Damian said doubtful

"What do you mean it can't be true, when there's already plenty of evidence facing us?" I asked

"Because you don't love him, the moon goddess said those you love, not those you hate!! Or do you love him?" Damian asked as he walked towards the window close to us.

Judging by the look on his face, I bet he was thinking how the break the sorrowful news to the crystal moon pack.

"Miss Lyra, Alpha Damian... He's awake!!" The Royal Physician cried out.

We both rushed to see the man who was supposed to be dead.

"What happened, why was he dead earlier?" I asked like a moron as I knelt down to feel his breath.

"He was not dead, his body went into transition which caused a Prolonged apnea and stopped his breath" The royal physician Answered.

"PROLONGED APNEA: means a person has stopped breathing. If the heart is still active, the condition is known as respiratory arrest. This is a life-threatening event that requires immediate medical attention.]"

The physician explained.

"Thank God you were here" Damian said as he offered to see the physician out.

"Hold on, you said he was in transition? What did he transit into?" I asked the physician right before he left.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you.... Congrats Alpha alexander, you're now a True Alpha!" The physician said as he finally walked away.

"True Alpha? What's so true about you? Your whole life is a lie, you're a f*****g tyrant, why the hell would you be the true Alpha?" I asked.

"Lyra stop!!" Damian screamed

That was the first time he had supposedly raised his voice at me.

"I've warned you not to let your emotions cloud your judgement..... He's now the true Alpha, the first one in a hundred years.... I get that you used to have a feud with him, but according to the law, you're going to have to respect him..... weather you like it or not" Damian said.

That was the longest speech he had ever said since I knew him, I understand that he may be on my side, but he had knew Alexander longer than he had ever knew me, so there's no way that he will not turn his back on me later on, or maybe he has already done it.

"Yes, you're right Damian, at least I don't have to remind you that I'm now superior to you!! Now... It's payback time." Alexander said.

His face turned into the wicked version of him.

His eyes turned red and violet and the same time, that was a sign of his strength... In a blink of an eye, he immediately rushed towards me, holding my neck he pushed me to the wall.

My back hit the wall badly, I could feel my back aching painfully...

I managed to remove his hands and I kicked him sideway towards the window, he thought he was the only one who had increased in terms of strength and speed.

I immediately rushed towards him at the window, then I throwed him towards the other end of the room, then I adjusted the trousers and shirt I was wearing.

"So you think that you're stronger than me?" I asked as I walked towards him.

"Didn't I tell you to keep your strength a secret?" Damian whispered to me.

"Relax... I did not say a thing yet!!" I whispered back.

"What are you two whispering like ghosts over there?" Alexander asked as he managed to raise his body from the floor, with the help of his guards who were present there.

"It seems like you haven't learned your lesson, I'll advise you to keep shut if you don't wanna get another beating!!" I said as I grunted.

"How did you get so strong? Just a few days ago, you were as weak as a flying eagle!!" Alexander said like a cry baby.

"You're a fool if you think eagles are weak, because just one eagle can lift you up the ground! Just look at how skinny you're!!" I said and the whole room burst into laughter.

I'm pretty sure that alexander had the Idea that I was mocking him.

"I'm not skinny!!" He said as he began to look at himself up and down.... Like a moron.

"I know, I'm just joking..... I can't believe you fell for it...." I said again and we all burst into laughter..

That was the type of life I had wished for, but due to the sufferings that alexander and Athena made me go through... That kind of life was clearly not possible.

"I think you should be going now, it's already late in the afternoon and what would kill your mother is if you don't get back on time!!" I said as I hurriedly closed my mouth.

"Wow, that was the first good word you said to me since I arrived!!" Alexander said again and we all burst into laughter.

"Well, like Damian said earlier.... I ought to give you a little bit of respect..... So" I was feeling shy.. I immediately rushed out of the Hall.

My chin were already red in colour, and I could not help but smile.

"Can I just wait for an extra hour or two?" Alexander asked as me from inside the Hall, it did not affect his ego if he screamed or not.

"Fine.... I guess you can stay then..." I said in a low-key voice.

"What did you say?" Alexander screamed again....

"YOU CAN STAY!!" I screamed towards him.

Then I saw a person walking towards me, a girl to be precise.....

She walked up to me gracefully, it was like she was in search of someone.

"Excuse me, do you know where I can find miss Lyra?" This girl said as she got to where I was standing.... Under the sun.

"Yes, why do you ask?" I asked her curiously.

"I've been assigned to be her new maid!" She answered!!

At least I liked her, she kept a good impression whereas she did not know that it was me.... Such a person was fit to represent me outside.

"I'm Lyra... Nice to meet you" I said as I stretch out my hands to shake her.

I did not willingly give people the honour of a handshake... But she deserved the privilege....

"Yeah, I knew it was you right when I saw you.... Because you were dressed elegantly just as the guards at the gate described and you were also beautiful!!" She said.

I'm pretty sure that she was trying to win my favour by calling me sweet names, but nevertheless she did win it.

The only thing I was confused about was...

"What's elegant about my dress?" I asked her as I stared at the jean trousers and the skinny jean which was imprinted the face of a lion....

"Hmmmmm, I dunno.. everything?" She said and we both burst into laughter.

"What's your name?" I asked her as I gave her a signal to accompany me inside the Hall.

"I'm Shanze!" She said....

Shanze? What type of name is that? I thought to myself....

"Hmmmmm Shanze, that's a beautiful name.... I guess" I said and we both began to laugh once more.

"Well, I'm currently taking a trip to the blood moon pack today, would you like to tag along?" I asked her as we arrived at the Hall.

"Yes, why wouldn't I? I'm now your maid...I guess" She said mimicking me and we laugh again.

"Who's the new girl?" They both asked at same time.....

"Her name is Shanze and she's my lost sister!" I said....

"Sister, you didn't tell me that you had a sister!!" Damian said.

"Who's supposedly same age as you!" Alexander replied and they both started laughing.

"About the trip we're going to have later today, can't we just follow alexander, because crystal moon pack is on the way to blood moon pack..." I said.

"Fine.... Pack your things, we'll leave in a few minutes" Damian answered.
