Lyra's Pov
"Who the hell do you think you're talking to like that?" Alexander asked me as I sat down on the Throne.
For some reason, I had courage in me to do what I want.
"You're in another pack, not your pack... So I'll advise you to use horrifics when talking!" I said to Alexander.
"Well, madam queen.... I'll advise you to come with me right now back to Crystal Moon Pack" Alexander said to me.
"You said your mother is ill right?"
I asked Alexander.
I've never had the honour to talk to him like this, but given the circumstances, I think it's time I paid him back for all he had done to me in the past.
"Yes, she is..... And what gives you the right to question me?" Alexander asked.
He was hell bent on protecting his stupid image, of course he wasn't going to let a mere maid talk to him like that.
But that was the one thing he did not know, I was not that maid of before.
"I did,..... With Tristan gone, I'm as well in charge....and I see nothing wrong with her questioning you!!"
Damian Butted in.
"Alexander, you heard the man.... Now I'll advise you answer each of my questions truthfully if you want to save your mother."
I said in a calm and cold manner.
"Fine, ask away then..." He finally responded in an obedient manner.
"What type of sickness does your mother has that can be cured by only me?" I asked his as I adjusted my butt on the chair.
"She was cursed a long time ago by the moon goddess, so we consulted a vessel if the moon goddess and she told us that you're the only cure!" Alexander said
"Really? Just like that? That's f*****g absurd.. why the hell would I be the vessel of the moon goddess?" I asked Alexander.
"You are not the vessel, you have been blessed by the moon goddess so you are. The cure to any curse laid on anyone by the moon goddess!! That's why I'm here."
Alexander said sobbing.
"Oh.., so you care about your mother this much? Where the f**k were you when I banished myself? You were busy kissing your stupid Fianceé" I said angrily.
No matter how hard I tried, I could not seem to let go of the past.
"Lyra, don't let your emotions cloud your judgement!" Damian said.
"Fine, what do you need from me?" I asked after wiping the tears off my eyes.
"Just a bit of your blood and your blessings!!!"
Alexander Answered.
"Well then, I'll give it to you tomorrow when you leave!!" I said as I got up to walk away.
"Tomorrow? Why tomorrow? We can leave today if you give it to me!!" Alexander Exclaimed.
"So now you're in a hurry, I'll advise you to do as I say if you don't want Your mother to die!!" I said as I walked away.
I could see Damian talking to Alexander about something, maybe he was consoling him... For all I care, that was none of my business.
As I walked through the hallway, in front of Alpha Tristan's room, I could see a figure on her kneels.
But as my eyesight drew closer, that figure was veronica... My maid.
"Why are you on your kneels? Who made you kneel down?" I asked in a confusing manner...
"No one made me kneel down, I just want to tell you something!!" She said as she began to sob.
"What's that? And why does it have to do with you on the ground?" I asked her again.
"I'm leaving!" She broke it down in two words.
And there was something I failed to notice about her, and that was the fact that she was not dressed in her Maid clothes, instead she was dressed in plain black clothes, her little bag laid on the floor with her.
"What do you mean you're leaving?" I asked in confusion as I thought it was a joke.
The only person that I could call my friend and my closet Ally.
Although I've known her for only Three days, it seemed to have been like I knew hee for almost a year.
"My mother is sick, I have to go take care of her!" She said sobbing furiously.
"Why is the problem always with your mother's? Are you all cursed? I'm not letting you leave to anywhere" I said as I flew into rage.
"I know that you don't want to let me go, but please... She'll die if proper care is not given to her... Even if she may die, I want to see her at least one last time!!"
She said sobbing at my feet's, both her arms held my legs so tightly that I was sad.
I did not know what to do, everyone had gathered and began to plead with me to let her go, even Damian beta who goes by the name Levi was also pleading with me.
"Fine, I'll let you go.... Under one condition." I said as my heart broke into pieces.
"Anything.... I'll do anything" She said as she looked up to my face..
"Stay alive!!" I said and walked into the room and immediately locked the door, I sat down on the floor close to the door and I let my tears flow out.
"I promise I'll be back!!" I could hear her say from outside the room.. even she was still crying..... Now I've know how it felt to lose someone close to you...
It was a very painful feeling....
I could not help but imagine how alexander would be feeling right now.
"Goodbye!!" Veronica said as her footsteps faded away slowly.
And so..... She left.
I just fell asleep from the headache and I wished that I never woke up again.
[Evening, Around 6pm]
Bang!! Bang!! Bang!!
The loud noise that was made from banging the door woke me up.
"Who is that?" I asked as I felt a severe headache.
"It's me Damian, why are you locked up in here?" Damian asked me. It was as though he was worried.
"I am not locked up, I locked myself up in here!! I just want to have peace you guys won't give to me!!" I said as I got up from the floor and opened the door halfway.
"What is it?" I asked with only my head stuck out through the door, and the remaining part of my body covered by the door.
"Nothing, just that I haven't seen you all day long and we also got news from Tristan!"
Damian reply broody.
"What news?" I asked again
"He said we should meet him up at my pack by tomorrow evening" Damian answered.
"We or you?" I asked
"We" he replied.
"Fine, I've heard you.... Now go away!!" I said as I made an attempt to lock the door.
"Hold!!" I said as I rushed into the room and brought out a little portion that contained my blood.
"Here, give it to Alpha alexander!!" I said as I stretch out my arms to him, handing him the portion.
"Wow, what made you change your mind?" Damian asked as he took the portion from my hands....
"I just realized how it feels to lose someone close to you, and I would be at fault if his mother died" I said as I closed the door and went back in...
"Lyra!!"
Now who the hell was that again? It has not even been a few seconds since Damian had left.
"Who's that?" I screamed towards the door like a fool.
"Lyra, look towards the moon!!"
The voice said again.
The voice neither seemed to be coming from a person, it seemed to be coming from a spirit.
So I looked towards the moon as I was told to
"Those you love will part from you and grief will come to you!! The only way you can stop this is to always remember who you are!!"
"I am the moon goddess and do as I say if you want to save the life's of all the Pack's, a great war is coming and only you can stop it.... Now go and fufill your destiny"
The moon goddess said and the moon ray's began to shine on me.
Suddenly I felt power flowing through my veins and blood.
That's was when I knew that I was the choosen one and that I had a greater destiny ahead of me.
"Anyone out there?" I screamed out.
And a guard responded to me.
"GET ALPHA DAMIAN HERE RIGHT NOW!!" I said towards the guard and Alpha Damian arrived shortly.
It really paid to be wicked and ruthless.
"Why did you call me here? I'm currently seeing our guest out!!" He said as he came in.
I explained everything to him and the word he told me was astonishing.
"I'll stand by you through all these fight, we shall face this fight together.. and i kinda advise you not to tell anyone!!" He said
"Why?" I asked him.
"So as not to draw too much attention..." He finally answered.
"Miss Lyra..... Alpha alexander is dead!!" A guard came to inform me.
