Iron and Venom, followed by ten companions, had been running for several hours.
When they get close to the river banks, they stop and drink. Everyone was very tired, but they refused to stop as the Alphas kept running.
“I'm going to hunt for something to eat” – Mark says through the mind link.
They sniff the air looking for prey. The scent of an adult moose enters his nostrils.
With five of the men, they surround the prey, cutting off all exits. The moose panics when he smells danger, but he has no space to run.
With a howl of Venom, they all pounce on their prey, and quickly kill it.
The prey is dragged near their companions.
The other wolves lie down on the ground, out of respect, waiting for the Alphas. They eat first. Venom senses the respect everyone has for their future Alphas
