As Mark and Kevin's group approached the border of the Red River Pack, they felt the presence of Reed's group. They froze on the spot.
- Beta Reed is here. Kevin says.
- Did he find out something or stop to refuel?
- There's only one way to find out - Kevin replies to his lover. - We have to contact Reed.
“Beta Reed?” - Mark calls, using the maidlink.
“Alpha Mark? Are you near the Red River Pack?” Reed replies.
"Yes. We stopped a mile from there. Ryan was captured by a pack of wolves and we lost track near Nox's pack. We're going to see if he had anything to do with it.”
“Alfa Mark, I'm pretty sure Alfa Nox has the Alfa Ryan hidden in the pack house. What I don't know is why. He tried to get rid of the Alpha Ryan scent, but I smelled it.”
