The next day Serenity woke up and decided that she was going to do something. She wanted to feel like she was becoming better or more productive. She just needed to convince her prison guard to agree. Josh had been more protective of her yesterday, maybe because there was no one else to be the disciplinarian, so he took it upon himself to fill that role.
Serenity got up and got dressed in pants and pulled her hair up. She bounced out of her room and down the halls.
