Chapter 18: Met his Waterloo

1791 Words
Mason was lying in his bed, resting his back on the pillows after a job well done. In his arms was a girl, petite, pretty, chocolate skinned and blonde with a sharp nose and parted thin red-hot lips which explained the shade of red on his lips. He had chewed them passionately almost plucking them off her face. The two of them were covered up to their waists, the lady raised her gaze to look at him, what followed was another kiss then she started making circles on his chest with her long manicured red-nailed fingers, it seemed to tickle him a little from the smiles and those spasms on his lower abdomen. "You really are good as they say you are" "I don't know what you're talking about" "That's the best s*x I've had in like forever. I can't believe I've been missing out on this" "You listen to rumors a lot. I don't f**k around that much" "Ooh really?" She sat on him her hands on his broad chest, "You can literally get any girl your heart desires" "No" "You just had me for dinner like minutes ago. I guess you can now brag to your buddies" "I don't do that. I thought this was a mutual attraction thing?" "It is, we're definitely doing this again. But first things first" she rolled off him and lay next to him with her hands tucked, staring blankly at the white ceiling her legs crossed covering her well shaved mound but leaving her vulva slightly exposed. Mason had dealt with such scenarios for long to know what was coming. He was addictive, she wanted the whole of him and he had answer for that, some sort of template just ready and waiting for such a case. Well-rehearsed from everything, the tone and delivery that left most of the girls satisfied. "Before you say anything" he supported his body with his elbow and leaned in to kiss her lips, "you're so pretty and good in bed, classic, but I don't think we can be like a thing you know. I'm still working on myself..." "Wait up, you think I want to be your girlfriend?" She interrupted almost bursting into laughter. "Yes, why else would you..." "Hell no. Sorry but I have a boyfriend, you were just on my bucket list and I f****d you because he is cheating on me" That scratched his ego just a little. He was being used as a rebound, most of the time he didn't care to ask the girls why they were having s*x with him. Perhaps he thought he was just too good at it that one client went ahead talking about it to another and they all lined up waiting for their turn. "Hurts, but anyway what didn't you want to say?" "I just wanted to ask something, now that we're alone and no one is watching or listening..." "Even walls have ears" "Your maids?" He smiled. For the moment he took it a s a joke but soon he was going to realized that indeed walls have ears, except it was a wrong wall with the wrong ears. "It was just a joke go on. Am serious this time" "Well am sorry to say your face says otherwise. Why Miller? Like what the f**k are you doing hanging around her like flies on a stinking bone?" "You really want to know that?" "f**k yes. Everyone at school wants to know but you have these sexy lips glued to her fat shapeless ass like some sort of a goof" "Perhaps because I spend more time among goofs. She is amazing you can't understand" "That's bs" "Well, it is what it is" he rolled off the bed and picked up their clothes that were spread all over the room. After putting on his shorts he threw her skirt and blouse with undies. "Are you throwing me out? Did I do something wrong?" "No, it's time to leave and go back to your boyfriend" "Oh, you can't seriously be jealous" "I'm not. We didn't agree you were sleeping over so" he shrugged and went to the washroom where he spent time washing his face and staring in the mirror. Recovering from that claw on his ego and a confirmation of the truth he so much feared. No one liked him for who he was and the girls he thought he was playing, some were actually playing him for a fool. An emotional puppy. Karma is a b***h because that's exactly what he took Audrey for. It hurt and he didn't know why. In his life he knew pain but not how to go about it. What to do whenever he was feeling low. Most girls cry out, others scream but he kept it bottled up and assumed everything was okay. For the better time it worked, not that time. There was a soft knock on the bathroom door. "Are you okay in there?" "Yeah am okay!" He hastily flashed the toilet and rinsed his hands before opening the door, "what's up?" "Almost thought you went to cry like a lil b***h. You want to drive me home or I should order a cab? From what I've heard you're a gentleman" she said staring at him closely, a posture that had Mason feeling uncomfortable, his heart was pounding in his chest. He couldn't tell whether he was angry or scared of her. "I'll drive you home. After I grab a T-shirt from right there" "You don't even want to look at me?" "No, let's go" he picked up his keys after putting on a T-shirt and led the way. She was right, he was very angry but she was wrong, not at her. Then at what? The girl silently followed behind him on the stairs as he slowed down to scribble on his phone. Yet she couldn't keep quiet for, long couldn't she? The chatterbox of a girl was finding a way to talk to him. Get their conversation going no matter the mood. "That party tomorrow, I haven't seen my invitation" "You're invited" "Dress code" "Anything that covers your body" "I have this feeling that you're angry at me. I'm sorry about bringing up Audrey" "It's not about her" he shouted angrily freezing with his face covered in his right hand, pacing up and down the parking lot, "you know what? Let me take you home just don't talk about anything really" "Not cool. You can't be mad at me and not tell me why" "Ooh you want to pretend you don't know why?' "No. You tell me...last I checked you enjoy all this!" The pitch in her voice went up, "having s*x with girls and no commitment, we are just shiny trophies you collect and I gave you just that. Why can't you just be happy you won?" "Because even if I win I still lose! You don't understand. f**k why am I talking to you about this when the only thing you have are good looks, that Audrey you despise so much is smarter than you" "f**k you Mason. I'm out of here!" She pushed him away angrily and marched on with her backpack dangling behind her back in white blouse and black skirt, black stockings down to her black wedge shoes that Exaggerated her height. Her arms were tucked and her hair long and flowing down her back. "Good luck walking home" "I'd rather walk than spend another minute around you, asshole. Good luck with your goofy girlfriend. b***h ass dude, and I thought you had sense" "Whatever!" he threw his hands in the air and walked back in the house, he shut the door behind him and leaned on it sliding down to a sitting position, his head between his knees. What was going on with him? He had just nutted in another hot blonde, usually he would have been celebrating with a video call to his buddies and champagne. Was it end of an era? He picked himself up and went to the kitchen looking for the butler. Despite his foul mood he had a party to prepare for, perhaps it was going to cheer him up. The butler met him with a warm glass of milk. "Thank you. Where are we?" "We know the drill, everything on the list is ready and just waiting for tomorrow" "Cool man, I don't know what I'd have done without you. I'll be in my room, dinner should come upstairs. As usual my parents aren't around" "Actually, they will be around. Your mum asked me to prepare dinner, you have guests" "Oh, guests. Why am I not surprised? What kind of guests?" "Business" "Yeah I'll still take dinner upstairs. Doesn't change anything" he left sipping on his glass. ****** "You'll pick me?" "Yes, tomorrow at six thirty" Assured Tina. "I had much fun you know. One of these fine days you should come in and take a cup of tea" she said leaning on the car, Tina had just dropped her home after a fun filled day of shopping. It wasn't spree but that's what she could refer to as one. Apart from her bag pack she had shopping bags full of a dress, peeping toe maroon shoes and other beauty products including a deodorant and perfumes. "We still have time. It's not like am dying tomorrow, besides you don't even know where I live" "I've seen your house online" She clicked her tongue and roared the engine scaring Audrey, "you deserve that goodnight b***h I'll call you when I get home" "Bye and thank you" she waved as Tina drove off. As usual, a guard was already on standby waiting for her to get in. It was almost as though someone would have abducted her right in front of their gate. "Dude?" She exhaled sharply looking at him. "Audrey" he said opening the gate. When she walked in the first thing she noticed was a new car in the drive way, right in front of the house. Her heart warmed up. They had guests. Usually the guests coming would make her life a little bearable because then her entire family wouldn't go ahead and show them how much they despised her. Hypocrisy levels would go up and Lucas wouldn't make jokes about her weight neither will her father act like she was adopted. It was all fake love, but for someone who love wasn't a frequent visitor she was okay even with false hope. She marched towards the house, it was a navy-blue royal salon. From outside she could hear Rose and some other woman laugh on top of their lungs. "There she is, my daughter!" rose said happily the moment she walked in.
