Once again Xavier was a sheer delight. To me. I didn’t stress at all. Not one tiny bit. The only thing left for me to do is to give my speech and for me to buy a gift for aspen. To thank her for calming my nerves. Everyone thinks I'm emotionless, and to an extent, I am. But I also struggle, and I'm not ashamed to admit that to myself. I’ve never shown that weakness to anyone. Not even my brothers. She wouldn’t let me pretend as though everything was alright. It’s too soon for me to think of love, but I think this is the case. My first mate was horrible, but the second one… oh dear gods, you redeemed yourself. If tatiana and i hadn’t made that mistake then i wouldn’t have aspen.
Should I feel guilty about that? f**k no.
