Chapter 4 Nathan and Noah Gray, double the hotness Maggie As I walked to my classes, I noticed the Gray twins heading right towards me. They didn’t seem happy. Nathan and Noah Gray looked identical but were fraternal twins. Unless you meet them, you can’t tell them apart. You call them by the wrong name, lookout. Noah was taller than Nathan. They had turned seventeen and were juniors in high school. They’re a pair of pain in the asses and like to give me a hassle. They also had a temper. “Well, hello, boys,” I said. “Don’t hello, us,” Noah said. “You’re the one who started that stupid rumor,” Nathan said. “I don’t know what you mean.” I feigned ignorance while pleading the fifth. “Cut the crap, Maggie. You told your two big-mouth friends that we’re gay,” Noah said. “Gay? I didn’t realize that you’re gay. Well, that explains so much.” “This isn’t funny, Maggie!” Nathan said. “Oh, well, I’d rethink your lifestyle choices.” I pushed past them with a smile plastered on my face. The twits shouldn’t have eaten all the breakfast and let me walk to school. The twins were as evil as the others. Their specialties were pranks. When I first arrived, they had tossed my underwear all over the yard. So, I got even and put itching powder in their boxers. It gave a whole new meaning to the word jock itch. We fought during the past two weeks. Their faces were priceless. Revenge was so sweet. At lunchtime, I was having lunch with Kat and Marcy when someone slammed their palms on the table. We saw the Gray boys standing there with Nixon front and center, glaring at me. “What can I do for you, boys?” I asked. “I’ll give you two-seconds to take it back and tell everyone the truth,” Nixon said. “Or what?” I stood up and placed my palms on the table while challenging him. “Or we’ll tell everyone your little secret,” Noah said. “What secret?” “The one where you have the hots for Bryson Tilson,” Nathan said. “That is that dork’s name, right?” He asked Noah. “Yep,” Noah said. “You wouldn’t.” “We would,” Noah said. Nathan nodded his head. I had to think for a moment. Do I tell the truth? The Gray brothers will still have leverage to hold over my head. Do I try another tactic? I pondered my options, tapping my finger against my lips. I’m going with Plan B. “Okay.” I stepped on the seat at the table. “Attention, everyone! I must be truthful about the Gray brothers! They’re not gay! I repeat, they’re not gay!” I noticed the brothers had a smug expression. “But they have an STD! A nasty one! They call it the Clap!” I glanced at them as their jaws dropped open. I leaned towards them. “Tell Bryson. It’s not like any girl will touch you with a ten-foot pole now.” “Oh, it’s war,” they said. “Bring it on, boys,” I said. Yep, a war got declared between the Gray brothers and me. That should be entertaining.
