Chapter Seven....Meaning Of Her Dream

Sarah woke up screaming. She was kicking and lashing out. Jake broke through his bedroom door. You could see pieces of the door everywhere. "Sweetheart, are you okay? What's happened?" Jake ran frantically to her and embraced her. Sarah cried out and returned his embrace with so much force. Jake was whispering sweet nothings in her ear as he ran his hands through her hair. "Shhh... it's okay baby. I am here now. Don't cry." Jake whispered. She was whimpering in pain and confusion. "I don't understand... I.. how could I..." She was shaking as she had her head in her hands. She started tugging her hair. She curled up farther into Jake's embrace. She reached up and wrapped her arms around Jake's neck. She breathed deeply to smell his scent. She relaxed slowly. She unbuttoned Jake's shirt and was trying to undress him when he grabbed her hand slowly.

"Baby, talk to me. Tell me what is going through your head right now. If we keep doing this, I won't be able to stop, sweetheart." Jake said carefully. She watched as Lennox was trying to get control. Jake's eyes were flickering to obsidian slowly. He was trying not to lose control. Sarah reached out and cradled his cheek. "Lennox..." she whispered. "Sweetheart... please-" Jake fought but Lennox took over completely. "Yes, Mate. I am here my baby girl. What's going on? What has happened? I feel a strong aura trying to get through to you." He said quietly. He was looking straight in her eyes. "Lennox, as much as it pains me to say this. I really need to talk to you only. Until I can figure out what is going on. Promise me. I promise I will tell Jake, but I need to know some things first." she said pained. She watched as Lennox cringed and his eyes were flickering. She knew Jake was fighting for control. Lennox whimpered, but shook his head with finality. "Okay mate, but I don't know how long I can keep him blocked out, but I will try.... for you." He said leaning down and kissing her softly.

Sarah exhaled softly. "I had a very disturbing dream. I woke up in a forest and I saw a little girl who was playing and talking to her parents and then they told her some things I am conflicted about," Sarah took a deep breath and continued "They were talking about when the little girl would get her wolf. They also mentioned something about a Lycanthrope. They went in to detail with the girl. After that there was an attack and the parents were killed right in front of her eyes. Before they died they told her not to mention anything to keep it hidden or very powerful people would come for the little girl. There was a woman who killed the parents, she had something that was inside a tiny vile that looked weird and injected it inside the little girls neck and she went limp. Then the woman said that they needed to erase the little girl's mind and that her and her husband would be her parents from now on. I am scared of that lady, Lennox." She started shaking.

Lennox was just staring at her with huge eyes of shock. He wasn't even moving. "Lycanthrope!" he whispered quietly. Sarah nodded her head. "I always heard they were a rarity. They are very very powerful. Just one alone can take out a whole army if it is powerful enough. This is discerning. Who was this woman and why are you afraid of her. It was just a dream, my sweet mate." Lennox said perplexed. Sarah kept fidgeting with her hands and feet. Lennox nudged her softly. "My mother." she whispered.

*Lennox POV*

"EXCUSE ME!!!" I was livid. How in the f**k? I am so angry and confused. Sarah was shaking profusely. "I am sorry mate. I am just trying to understand all this." I was getting a headache, because Jake was beyond angry and hurt. He couldn't understand why our mate wouldn't trust him and because she told me to block him out. I could feel his pain, but since I promised I tried to keep control.

"Mate, what do you think this all means. I mean you are human. I can smell it. I do smell something special about you, but I don't know what. Do you think the little girl was you? I mean you are twenty-three and still no wolf. How could it be you?" I was trying to puzzle everything together. We definitely had to protect our mate either way. She was ours. She was our responsibility. I felt Jake getting stronger and I was about to lose control. "Mate. I can't hold him any longer. Please try to console him, try to end the suffering. You need to be honest with him and tell him, Plea-, AHHH!!!" I gasped out in pain. Sarah was trying to comfort me, she knew Jake was fighting me for control.

"Lennox. What in the F**K? How could you block me out and keep things from me. If you ever do that to me again, I swear to the Moon Goddess I will beat your f*****g ass and block you out for a whole damn month. DO YOU HEAR ME!!" Jake yelled angrily.

I whimpered painfully gritting my teeth and nodded my head reluctantly.

*Jake POV*

I tightened my grip on Sarah's hips. I didn't mean to make it painful, but I saw her wince. I let her go somewhat, but I still held her tight. I looked down at her and I saw she was crying. I grabbed her chin and lifted it up and made her look me straight in the eyes. I felt so betrayed. "What the hell!! I can't believe you still don't trust me. How could you trust Lennox more than me? Why did you block me out? I don't understand." I said gritting my teeth.

"Please be patient with Mate. She will tell you. Please don't yell at her." Lennox whimpered.

"Lennox.. you had your time. Now let me have mine. GO AWAY!" I growled.

"Fine, but just be patient." he said growling. I felt him walk away and lay down.

Sarah nudged me to get my attention. She tilted her head to the couch. I walked over there with her and I sat down and put her in my lap. She grabbed my face and leaned her forehead agaisnt mine. I instantly calmed. She had that power over me. I was completely enchanted with her. I sighed softly. "I'm sorry Jake. I wasn't trying to make you feel left out. I just wanted to ask Lennox some things before I came to you. Just to try and understand what I saw. That is all. I swear. I will tell you everything. I do trust you Jake with everything I am. Please forgive me. I didn't mean to cause you or Lennox pain." she sniffled. I just sat there as I held her tight. I didn't really know what to say, so I just nodded my head. "Jake, what is a Lycanthrope?" Sarah had said conflicted. I looked at her shocked. Where in the hell is this coming from? Where did she hear about our Lycans?? I was truly intrigued to understand.

"Well, they were some of the most powerful wolves ever to live. They were of royal blood lines. King Lycaon was the first. They could stand on their hind legs and walk. Their strength was almost godly. They had an aura so strong, that almost all creatures including werewolves would submit. One bite or scratch and you don't heal, it can take days. They were brought to extinction. I am not sure how that happened since they were almost untouchable. No one knows what truly happened, but they are not around anymore that I am aware of. No one mentions them anymore. How did you hear about them sweetheart?" Jake said curiously. "I had a dream Jake. In that dream they were mentioned. My mother was in the dream as well." Sarah said sadly. He had listened as she described her dream to him. He sat there shocked. "So what are you thinking about in this dream?" he said pondering. "I am not sure, but it felt so familiar to me. The mama and papa seemed so familiar even though I have never met them. The cottage as well. I almost want to believe that it was a memory of some sort. Maybe my mom isn't my mom and is my Aunt. She did mention my name at the end and say that her and my Uncle would be my parents from that day forward. She mentioned wiping my memory of everything. Could this be true Jake? I am so confused. How can I be the last Lycanthrope. I am twenty-three. I have never even had signs of instantly healing or anything." Sarah said crying. Then I thought of something suddenly. "Did your Aunt or Uncle ever give you anything, like an injection, or make you drink anything. Something that would of been given constantly. Maybe that is what is keeping your Lycan at bay for so long. If what you dreamt is really true and happened." Jake tried to explain.
