I didn’t know if I was excited or worried by Lux’s offer. How was I to know if I could control my new limbs without looking like a fool? How was I even supposed to know if I wouldn’t have a reaction due to the poison in my system?
Despite this being an opportunity to be happy and proud of what I had just achieved, all I could feel was fear.
