After the incident at my house, time passed by. The unexpected kiss left unsettling feelings in my gut. It would have been better if he hadn't ruined it by apologizing. Who apologizes after a kiss unless they regret it and disregard the person they shared a kiss with?
I didn't want a confrontation with him. The fear of speaking rudely again kept me away and I didn't want anybody to know at the office that I have any relationship or so with their CEO, so all I did was avoid him all day.
I treated him only as my boss and tried my best to avoid being alone with him because I knew he would want to talk and apologize to me. Apologizing was what would get me pissed.
