Dr. Baumgartner’s office
“Look at all the kids on the other side of the room, they’re sniffling and coughing,” Jack said worriedly.
“Bella probably has an immunity to various cold viruses because Meredith couldn’t have lived until twenty-three without accumulating some immunity.” Carlo put Bella over his shoulder.
Several of the mothers and their kids wanted to see Bella because she was so tiny. After two people with four kids each came up to them, Carlo handed Bella to Jack who moved across the room from the sniffling kids.
“I don’t mean to be rude, but Bella’s being bottle fed and I don’t know if she has the same natural immunities that other children have. So I have to ask you to stay away.”
