Third-person pov:
Stormy is still very upset, she is sitting in Kai's car but her mind is still occupied with those two men.
"Will you stop thinking about them..." Kai said, looking at her upset face but Stormy starts looking out of the window.
"Look Fiona, what was meant to happen has happened, you can't go into the past and fix everything now. Forget that accident as a mistake..." Kai advised her but Stormy didn't reply to him.
Kai stopped his car in front of Max's house, Stormy was about to get out of the car but suddenly Kai held her hand, Stormy turns her face and look at him in a questioning manner.
"You are invited to Kalvin's cruise party tomorrow, what are your plans for tomorrow?" Kai asked her, Stormy stared at his grip on her hand then she once again look into his eyes.
"Right now I have not thought anything and tomorrow we will plan to invest 50 million in different projects. But I'll try my best to join the party..." Stormy said pulling her hand out of Kai's hand.
"I'll return this dress to you tomorrow..." Stormy said
"Take this as a gift..." Kai said with a smile, removing her hair from her face but Stormy held his hand.
"I can't take this gift from you because I can't give you such an expensive gift right now..." Stormy said and get out of the car.
"Tomorrow I'll empty my penthouse for you...you don't have to stay here..." Kai said, looking at Max's small house.
" it would be better if you don't drag me between you and your brother's fight, " Stormy said about to turn but once again Kai held her hand.
"Do you have feelings for her..." Kai asks but Stormy stares at him with 'what the f**k' looks.
She angrily pulls her hand out of his grip and points her warning at him. "Stay out of my personal life..." Stormy warns him then moves toward Max's home.
Stormy can feel Kai's gaze on her but she didn't turn back to look at him, she has no place in her heart for anyone. What Damien has done to her, she'll never forget that nor she'll trust any man again in her life.
Stormy knocks on the door, Max opens the door and starts staring at Stormy with questioning looks, "yes! How can I help you miss?" Max asks her in a very polite tone
Stormy makes a frown face, then she releases that she is still wearing makeup and looking very different from her last look. "It's Me Max, so move aside..." Stormy said,
Her strong tone makes Max a little confused because she is sounding like Fiona, Stormy notices that confusion so she put her palm on Max's chest and moves him aside.
"Are...Are you Fiona...?" Max asks,
"Of course Max..." She replied, If Max doesn't recognize Fiona's voice, he'll never find out that the girl standing in front of him is Fiona.
"Who is she...?" Laura asks Max, looking at Stormy from top to bottom.
"Fiona..." Laura's mouth opens wide after hearing Fiona's name. Stormy moves toward Fiona and closes her mouth with her fingertips, "you'll catch the fly..." Stormy said and move upstairs towards Eva's room but stop near the stairs and twirl to look at Max.
"Tomorrow I'll shift to your brother's penthouse, you, Eva and Laura can come to meet me anytime you want..." Stormy said and start walking upstairs once again.
Max is not happy to hear this news and Laura can read his expression, she put her palm on Max's shoulder, "She isn't your Fiona (Max's wife) " Laura said,
"I know, she isn't mine..." Max said and moves towards the couch. Laura cases him and makes herself comfortable on the couch beside Max.
"Did you notice her looks, she was looking mesmerizing..." Laura said,
"This girl is hiding many secrets inside her, her words, her actions, her madness, her brash, her arrogance, looks like everything she got in inheritance.
She is neither afraid of anything nor infatuated with anything, " Max said, Laura doesn't feel good to know that Max is taking too much interest in the new Fiona but she didn't say anything to him because now Laura understood one thing, that New Fiona is off-limits.
"Aren't you getting late for hospital..." Laura asked,
Max cursed under his breath then rubs his fingers on his forehead, " please drop my daughter to school in the morning..." Max said, picking his bag from the table.
Once Max left his house, Stormi used the back door, then quietly took the taxi and asked the driver to start his car.
Only Stormy and god know, where Stormy is going, but looking at her expressions, anyone can understand that she is going to blast tonight.
Next morning :
Eva was sleeping peacefully on the bed, her tiny body is tangled with the quilt. Stormy smiles looking at her, because of the emergency Laura left early in the morning but before leaving Laura told Stormy to drop her at her school.
Stormy tries to wake Eva but little Eva is feeling sleeping and has no mood to attend school today.
"Eva get up darling..." Stormy said, picking her sleepy body in her arms. But little Eva put her head on Stormy's shoulder. "I don't want to go to school..." She said in a sleepy tone.
Stormy smiled and take her toward the washroom, she put her on the counter and start adjusting the water temperature.
This is the first time Stormy is doing all this work if her family was, they would laugh at her.
"Stop thinking about them Stormy, just Stop..." Stormy told herself then looked at sleeping, Eva. She moves toward her and put her in the jacuzzi. Eva screams then starts laughing loudly. Stormy also jumps into the water and they both start splashing water on each other.
In the beginning, things were very hard for her but now she slowly starts enjoying this life and she promised herself that soon she'll adjust to this life too.
Eva got up and jumps into Stormy's arm then she start kissing her face. "Can you take me shopping, please..." Eva said, almost in a begging tone.
"Eva you have school, but tomorrow I promise I'll take you shopping " stormy promised Eva, cupping her face in a very loving tone.
"But tomorrow I have a function..." Eva said, making cute faces.
Stormy pulls her cheeks then places a soft kiss over her head "Don't worry, your function will start in the afternoon and I'll take you shopping in the morning.." Stormy said and stepped out of the jacuzzi with Eva.
Stormy help Eva for getting ready for school, she makes her hair then takes her to the kitchen.
Eva notices Stormy's expression, "It's ok if you don't know how to cook, " Eva said,
"Don't worry, I'll buy lunch for you from the restaurant, " Stormy said but Eva shook her head.
"Dad forbids eating outside food, my stomach is sensitive..." Stormy said
"Do you like pancakes..." Stormy asks her
"Do you know how to make them...?" Instead of answering, Eva asks questions to Stormy.
"I used to make pancakes with my father when I was a baby but I used to mess a lot in the kitchen with my Dad that's why mom banned me and Dad into the kitchen," Stormy said, thinking about her beautiful past with her family.
Eva got excited hearing Stormy's story but suddenly her expression turned into a frown. Stormy noticed the sudden change in her mood, "what happened..." Stormy asks
"You are hurt..." Eva pointed her finger toward Stormy waist, there is a small cut on her waist which is bleeding right now. Stormy put her palm on her cut and look at Eva, "I guess I got hurt when we were bathing, Stay here! I'll be back in a minute..." Stormy said and move towards the washroom to bandage herself.
While cleaning her wound, last night's memories start flashing in Stormy's mind.
Last night when Stormy was coming home with Kai, she had noticed Kelvin's men's car, that area was deserted and scary, so it wasn't difficult for stormy to find Those two men in that area.
Stormi was lost in her thoughts when she heard the doorbell, Stormi immediately bandaged her cut and quickly exited the washroom but got shocked when she notice Kai standing in front of Little Eva and they both are staring at each other.
Damn! Stormy curses under her breath, then slowly and carefully move toward Kai and Eva, "Kai..." Stormy calls Kai but his gaze is fixed on Eva, by looking at Kai's expressions, Stormy understood that Kai finds out the truth about Eva.
Stormy hugs Eva, "he has the same eye as me..." Eva said to Stormy, hugging her back with so much love.
"Eva, come on go up and bring your bag, we are getting late for school..." Stormy said to Eva,
"where were you last night Fiona? " Kai asks,
Stormi's mouth widened in shock because she wasn't expecting this question from Kai,
"don't you want to know anything about your daughter?" Stormy asks, looking at Kai with pure astonishment
"That's not the answer to my question Fiona?" Kai said, looking at her with cold expressions.
Stormy's pov:
How can he ask me such questions at this time? Don't he want to know about his daughter? Isn't he happy to see his daughter, isn't he angry with Max for hiding his daughter from him for so many years?
How? How could ignore his, own blood like this? How could he behave like a blind man?
"I am asking you one last time Fiona, where were you last night..." This time Kai yells at me, holding my arms painfully.
I grit my teeth in rage and push Kai away from me with harsh expressions, I was about to break his bone for holding me in dominating manner but suddenly I heard the sweet tone of Eva.
"I am ready..." Eva said in an excited tone.
I turn my gaze towards Eva, who is holding her pink bag in her tiny palms. I instantly move toward her and take the bag from her hand.
"I didn't make anything for you, can I make a sandwich for you..." I ask her, but Eva once again starts staring at her real father with a curious gaze.
"I have seen you in the magazine, Are you, Kai Brown...?" Eva asks her father but Kai rudely turns his face in the other direction.
What the f**k! If Eva wasn't here, I would surely beat him badly until his ass become black and blue.
How could he treat his daughter like this?
I clearly remember that Max told me; Kai has no idea about Eva's secret, so it's obvious that it was Kai's first meeting with his daughter. But here he is treating his daughter as if she is infected with some deadly disease
I pick Eva in my arms and put her on the counter, then kiss her soft cheeks, "just give me five minutes, I'll make a sandwich for you..."
"By the way, where I'll find bread, butter, and Jam..." I ask her, Eva starts pointing her finger towards freeze.
"Is he playing a mute game with me...?" Eva asked me in a low tone but Kai glares at her angrily.
"Stop staring at her like this Kai..." I warm in rage
"You shouldn't help those men... And to put the cherry on that, you set fire to his entire drug consignment," Kai yells at me in anger but I didn't reply to him.
"Chocolate, strawberry, or honey..." I ask Eva, showing bottles to her.
"Chocolate..." Eva said and once again start staring at her real father.
Kai held my hand and force me to look at himself, "Kalvin has gone mad with anger, he has set up an injury team and has been killing all his enemies since 4 a.m.
Do you have any idea how much trouble you can get in right now if Kelvin finds out that you set fire to contingent and help his enemies to escape from his clutches..." He asks, looking at me with his cold expression.
"You don't need to worry about me, I know how to take care of myself, now remove your f*****g hand because I am getting late..." I said to him in a very harsh manner,
Kai grip my arm more tightly but I don't show any painful expressions on my face and kept staring at him with a cold gaze.
"If I tell your truth to Kelvin, he will tear you to pieces..." Kai said,
"Threatening those who are afraid of your threats. Let's do one thing, I'll tell the truth myself to Kelvin in the evening at the cruise party, " hearing my words Kai left my hand
"Are you insane...?" He asks in a low tone,
"I can ask you the same question Kai...?" I said to Kai looking at Little Eva who is staring at me and her father with curious expressions.
After hearing my words Kai also start staring at his daughter but in a few seconds, he removes his gaze from her face and looks at me.
"I'll talk to my friends, you don't need to attend that Cruise party..." Kai said but I look at her with bitchy smile.
"I know very well, why you are trying to protect me but put this thing in your mind that I am your lover whom you left for your business. I am me and I don't f*****g need your care and protection, " I rudely said to him and put the Tiffen into Eva's bag.
"Will you come to pick me up from school?" Eva asks when I was picking her up in my arms.
"I don't know what's your father's plans, I'll talk to your Dad about this matter..." I said to Eva with a smile then start moving out of the house but when I didn't hear Kai's footsteps, I twirl to look at him.
"You have to come out of the house because I want to lock it..." I said to him, that's when he started walking behind me.
Once we walk out, I pass the keys to Kai and told him to lock the door, at the same time Max's parked his car in front of his house and stepped out of his car with panicked expressions.
Looking at Max's expressions, anyone can say that Max was aware of the sudden visit of his brother to his house.
Max rapidly walk near me and took his daughter out of my hands in a very possessive manner, the fear and panic of losing his daughter were truly visible in his eyes.
Max hugs his daughter tightly while kissing her face, then looks at his brother but Kai isn't showing any interest in Eva, looking at Kai's face, anyone can say that Kai doesn't give a damn about his daughter.
"I told you to stay away from my house, then why have you come here...?" Max yells at Kai but because of his sudden scream, Eva got frightened and flinches into her father's arm.
Kai looked at his brother with rage, "I have zero interest in you, your house, and this trash (Kai said looking at Eva)
I came here only to meet her (Kai looks at me ) so show your anger to those who are afraid of you and if you are worried about this trash (Pointing his eyes towards little Eva) so I was already aware of your little secret since she was only one month old..." Hearing his words, Max and I both got shocked
"Let's go office, her father will drop her at her school..." Kai said holding my arms.
Eva instantly looked toward me and Kai, "But she promised to drop me at school..." Eva said, with teary eyes.
"Don't worry, Daddy will drop you, my love..." Max said, kissing his daughter's cheek but Eva start shaking her head.
"I want to go with her daddy..." Eva said stubbornly
I turn my face to look at Kai, " I'll come office after dropping her at her school...so please you take your leave from here..." I said to Kai but he start staring at me.
"I want to discuss something important with you..." Kai said looking at me, his behavior is telling me that he won't go anywhere without taking me with him.
"It's ok Fiona, you go with him, I'll drop my daughter..." Max said, taking his daughter towards his car but I put my palm on his shoulder.
"I promised her that I'll drop her, " I said to Max,
"Please Daddy, " little Eva said playing with her father's hospital coat.
Max was about to say something but suddenly his cell phone starts ringing, he picked up the call with a worried expression, "Where are all the other doctors?" Max asks on the call
"I don't care, I'm not coming back..." Max angrily yells at the call and scares Eva once again.
"Then let him die, I don't give a damn about anyone right now..." Max said and cut the call angrily.
"You didn't feel any shame while saying this. Patients come to the doctors with hope, consider them as their God and you are using such disgusting words for them, " I asked Max, looking at him with pure disgust and anger.
I was about to leave with Kai but This time Max put his palm on my shoulder and stop me from leaving.
"I was scared for my daughter, please drop her to her school..." Max said, I twirl to look at him then wipe the sweat from his head with my palm.
As a father, I can understand his fear of losing his daughter, I know, Max is a nice person and he can never hurt anyone. He was disturbed because of his daughter that's why he said such words.
"Don't take too much stress, she loves you very much and no one in this world will be able to snatch your daughter from you..." I said to Max while taking Eva in my arms.
Max smiles look at me then kisses his daughter's head, "You shouldn't have messed with Kalvin like that again. He is an animal in human skin..." Max said putting his palm on my cheek with a worried expression.
"I had made a mistake last night, I risked two lives to raise funds for your dad's company. If I didn't go to save them, I would have fallen in my own eyes. And if I fell in my own eyes, I could never forgive myself.
Kelvin and his men will never reach me if they even find out the truth I don't care..." I said to Max,
Sighing*****
"don't you care about your life at all?" Max asks, I start thinking about my Dad and family. In past, I have Many people in my life who cared about me but now I have no one.
"You are getting late Max..." I said to Max
Max once again kiss his daughter and this time he kiss my head too, "See you in the evening..." Max said moving towards his car and waving bye to his daughter.
I touch my head then look at Kai, who isn't looking happy at all.
"Why he didn't take his daughter with him..." Kai asked me
"Because her school and Max's hospital both are in opposite directions, " I said and sat inside Kai's car.
"Why the f**k do you sit inside my car with her...?" Kai asked me,
I look at Kai, " I'm late because of your catfight and necessary arguments. we have to go to the office and your office is on the way to Eva's school so start driving the car..." I said to him.
Kai looks at his daughter with hate, due to his fear, little Eva hides her face in her chest, I also wrap my arms around her and place a kiss over her head to calm her.
"He doesn't like me, he hates me, let's take a bus..." Eva said in a very low, sad tone.
I look at Kai but his gaze is fixed on the road. " He doesn't hate you, Eva, he is just upset to see his guilt in front of his eyes, " the moment I said this, Kai instantly looked toward me with a hard expression.
Kai stopped the car in front of Eva's school, I step out of the car with Eva "Can you drop me at my class..." Eva asks holding my fingers.
"Sure..." I said
"No, we are getting late..." Kai said getting out of the car, he take out Eva's bag from his car and put it in my hand.
Suddenly, Little Eva bumped into Kai, but before Kai yells at her, she put her palms on her head dramatically and makes a painful sound. For a second hearing her painful sound, Kai's expressions turn into a pale one
Innocent Eva also notices Kai's expressions, "it's ok, I am fine. I am not gonna scold you for hurting me..."
