Stormy's pov:

"What happened to you, You seem lost since we dropped Eva at school..." I ask Kai, marking the important notes, and pushed the file towards him.

Kai didn't say anything but picked the file and start reading the points once again.

"if you want you can tell me what happened to you, maybe I can help you to solve your problem..." I said to Kai, holding his palm.

"Only her look matches mine but her actions are all like her mother's, " Kai said but he isn't looking into my eyes.

Oh! So he was thinking about his daughter, but a few hours ago he was treating her like trash as if her presence doesn't matter to him.

Even he, himself said that he was aware of Eva's truth. " you said you hate her and now you are thinking about her, " I said to him, getting up from the chair and moving towards the couch.

There is a pile of files on the couch, and I have to finish all these files by evening.

"I lost my Fiona because of that trash..." Kai said, I instantly looked toward him and narrow my eyes at him.

"Max told me how you chose work over your love, and why Fiona left you, so how could you blame your little daughter, " I ask him, in a little angry tone. Usually, I don't interfere in anyone's matter until that matter isn't related to me but here looking at Kai's behavior toward his, own blood makes my blood starts boiling in anger.

"Max just poisons the hearts of others for me. He was obsessed with Fiona since she was a teenager and at the right time, he had taken the advantage of my and Fiona's fight, " Kai said,

Hearing his words, I shook my head "Oh really? May I know what Max got in the end by taking advantage of your and Fiona's fight? Because from where I am seeing, I can only see an i***t guy who has sacrificed his love and life on taking care of your love and daughter..." I said to Kai with a hard expression.

"If Fiona isn't with us today, it's only because of Max, " Kai said, grinding his teeth with so much rage but I laugh at his anger.

She f*****g, sacrificed her life just to teach you a lesson, and yes if you can't respect other people just at least don't respect them, " I said to him with a cold smile, he is staring at me as if I pulled his heart out of his chest and crushed it in front of his eyes.

"Your brother also learned of Fiona's pregnancy when it was too late, Otherwise he wouldn't hesitate to give his life to save Fiona, " after showing the mirror of reality to Kai, I walk out of his cabin with cold expressions.

I put all the files on the table and move towards Mr. Brown and Mr. Kelvin.

I greet Mr. Brown politely then turn my gaze towards Kelvin, "you are looking very different today..." Kelvin said looking at my looks.

"Mr. Kelvin is here to remind you about the cruise party..." Mr. Brown said, but my gaze is fixed on Mr. Kelvin as his gaze was also fixed on me.

"Glad to know that you have come to invite me here personally and very sad to know that those who attacked you have fled..." Mr. Kelvin stare at me with astonishing expressions, he was about to say something but Kai's words cut him off.

"What a pleasant surprise Kelvin..." Kelvin removes his gaze from me and looks toward Kai, " so you are spreading the news about me among your employees..." Kelvin asks Kai raising one brow at him.

"She mistakenly heard when I and Dad were discussing your consignment..." Kai said and stood beside me, wrapping his arm protectively around my waist.

"Search that person who set fire to my heart and crush my ego under my feet and in return, I'll forget that you have killed my brother's right hand, " Kelvin said to Kai, right now Kelvin is truly burning in rage.

"It could be one of your enemies, it could be the two men you ordered to torture..." Kai replied

"Let's talk in the cabin... " Mr. Brown said,

"I think you guys should discuss your matter in the conference Hall because there is loads of mess in Kai's cabin and I am working there..." I said to them, removing Kai's palm from my waist and once again picking the files in my arms.

"You haven't reply me about your looks?" Kelvin ask

"I have many shades inside me..." I said to him with an attitude

"I appreciate your attitude Ms. And would be honored if you show your presence at my cruise party tonight..." Kelvin said, his desperate eyes are simply indicating how badly he wants me to attend his party.

"Trust me I want to come but my work isn't allowing me to attend your party. I have to find investors..." I said to Kelvin.

"Investors...?" Kelvin asks in a questioning tone but I smile at his question.

"Surprised to know that your friends are in trouble, their company is about to sink and you don't know anything about it..." I taunt Kelvin but Kai put his palm on my shoulder.

"You shouldn't interfere in this matter, " kai warns.

"You should be careful with those people, Kai who leave you alone in times of trouble and think only of their, own benefits..." I said, looking into Kai's eyes.

"Aren't you scared of me little girl...?" Kelvin asked looking into my eyes with cold expressions, Kai was about to say something but I put my palm on his mouth and stare back at Kelvin with equal cold expressions.

"If I was scared of you, I won't dare to say this to you in front of your face, " I said to Kelvin then remove my palm from Kai's mouth.

"Fiona..." Mr. Brown calls my name in a warning manner but I stare at him with attitude.

"I have checked your company data and he is hollowing your company like termites for the last 8 years. " I said Mr. Brown then look at Kelvin.

"What are you saying? If we're still able to run this empire today, it's only because of Kalvin..." Kai said but I smile at him.

"Yes he is investing in your company but he is also cutting your roots from the bottom, if you don't believe me then ask Mr. Kelvin..." I said to Kai turning my gaze back to Kelvin.

"And why would I do that? " Mr. Kelvin ask me directly.

" you know the answer to this question better than me..." I replied to him.

"Fiona I think you should leave..." Kai said to me,

I think I shouldn't mess with Kelvin right now because I need 50 million from him. I was about to leave but this time Kelvin calls my name.

I stopped and twirl to look at him, " How much money do you need...?" He asks

"100 million..." I said, Mr. Kai and Mr. Brown, both start staring at me with wide-open eyes but soon they composed themselves.

"For how much time..." He asks

"Approx for 45 days...." I replied Kelvin

"I am ready to give you 250$ million but after 45 days you have to return me 1.5$ billion because this much amount owes brown & sons company from me..." Kelvin said moving close to me and holding my chin tightly.

His eyes are simply telling me that he has some evil intentions in his mind for me.

"I am refusing to take your offer, Mr. Kelvin..." Kai said but I cut him off and ask Mr. Kelvin directly

"What do you want from me?" My tone was extremely cold and full of arrogance.

"I think those girls so much who directly comes on point..." Kelvin said, rubbing his thumb on my lips but I didn't show him an ounce of uncomfortableness on my gross.

"If you will not be able to return my money on time, you will have to give me your life till your last breath, " Kelvin said,

"I will tell you my reply at your party in the evening, hope you will give me this much time..." I said to Kelvin with a smile.

It's not like I can't make a decision right now but I don't want to do any foolishness at this time. Kelvin is a gangster and he is much more experienced than me. Considering him a fool would be like hitting your, own feet with Axe.

"Glad to know that you are ready to come to our party..." Kelvin said then look at Kai and Mr. Brown.

"I think we should now discuss the matter of new consignment..." Kelvin said to Kai

"I would love if I can also be a part of you people's discussion..." I said to Kai but he glance at me with a serious expression.

"I want you to stay away from this illegal work, " Kai said and look at Mr. Kelvin.

"I will not do any of your illegal work until I find out how much truth is in Fiona's words..." Kai said, of course, he is talking about the deceiving matter.

Kelvin smiles, "you are in no condition to argue with me on this matter..." Kelvin said with so much attitude.

"Gangster like you shouldn't say words like this, you are underestimating a drowning man but forgot that a Straw is enough to help a drowning person, " I said to Kelvin but instead of anger I notice admiration in his eyes for me.

" you Can't cross the sea with the help of straws kiddo..." Kelvin said with a taunting smile but his taunting smile stabbed my ego so brutally and make it bleed with pain.

"Maybe till now you haven't been across with any crazy obsessive person, everything is possible in this world, you just should have passion and madness..." I said in a very serious and cold tone.

"Looking at your expressions, I can say that my words have brutally stabbed your ego..." Kelvin said with an evil smile but I return his smile with equal evilness.

"My ego is not the body of any human or animal that anyone can penetrate. My strut is a rock that neither bends nor breaks, it stands proudly as the unremovable mount..." This time my words snatch all the color and happiness from Kelvin's face.

"You are as beautiful as you are dangerous..." Kelvin said, looking at me with unknown expressions.

"People call me beauty with Brain..." I said to him then look at Mr. Brown "I have sent you some emails, just check them and try to revert me as soon as you can..." Mr. Brown nods his head.

"I am going to discuss the new plans with the team, hope you'll finish your chat with Mr. Kelvin soon and join us on time..." I said to Kai but he didn't reply to me

"Until recently, you were very much looking forward to joining our discussion..." Kelvin said

"Are you getting desperate to spend time with me, (my sudden reply astonished everyone but I smile at their reactions ) now my mood has changed, Cause I want to think about your offer too..." I said to Kelvin and excuse myself I saying goodbye to Mr. Brown.

Third-person pov:

"Who is she..." Mr. Kelvin asked, staring at Stormy's back...

"A beautiful Mystery..." Kai said, his gaze is also fixed on Stormy's back but once he released what he said, he instantly look at Kelvin who was already staring at him.

Kai makes uncomfortable expressions, then rubs his fingers on his head.

"She is truly unpredictable..." Kelvin said, Kai, stopped rubbing his fingers on his forehead and look at Kelvin.

"She is very young and doesn't think twice before saying anything. Don't take her words too seriously..." Kai said because he don't want to involve Stormy in this illegal manner.

"I agree with you she is very young but she knows what to say and when to say...

Her cold deadly eyes, her evil smile, her heart-piercing answers, this girl can't be any ordinary girl..." Kelvin said, his eyes are simply indicating how memorized he is by Stormy's evilness

Kelvin notices Kai's sour expression on his gross but he didn't say anything because if he was at his place, he would behave worst than this.

"She is special to me, so don't mess with her Kelvin, " Kai said to Kelvin with clenched jaws but his father held his hand tightly.

"Are you threatening me, Kai Brown...? (Kelvin put his palm on Kai's chest and pat him two times in a warning manner) careful Kai, don't think of messing with me...? " Kelvin said in a warning manner, his expression is clearly saying that he is interested in Stormy and he wants her at any cost because Stormy catches his attention and made her place in his heart.

Kelvin had come across many girls but he never met someone like Stormy. She is something, she has some kind of power, some kind of energy that is pulling Kelvin near her but Kelvin has no idea that Stormy is a fire and she can burn anything and everything. She is beyond his thinking.

Kalvin has no idea that he is overthinking Stormi, he has no control over his mind and heart. He is falling into the trap of Stormi's infatuation and has no intention of breaking out of it.

Since yesterday he was going crazy to meet Stormi, if he had not lost his drug consignment and those two men, today Stormi would have been with him at his home.

"I'll help you to take out your consignment from AFP and search for that person who set fire to your drug consignment but in return, you have to stay away from Fiona..." Kai said, looking at Kai with so much aggression.

"It's too late Kai, I need her and I'll get her at any cost...if anyone dares come between me and her, then that person has to say goodbye to his life," Kelvin said with so much determination then turns his gaze towards Mr. Brown.

"Your son isn't in condition to talk to me at this moment, we'll meet in the evening and talk about this matter..." Mr. Kelvin said, looking at Kai with a warning gaze, his ferocious gaze is simply indicating that he doesn't want Kai to get involved in this matter.

Mr. Kelvin said goodbye to Mr. Brown and moved toward Elevator.

Mr. Brown looks at his son, "you shouldn't mess with Kelvin, you know who is he? And he can go to any extent to fulfill his lust and desires... I have known him for many years but had never seen him getting desperate for any girl before..." Mr. Brown tries to warn his son but it's too late because he has developed a soft corner for Stormy and he won't let anyone hurt her.

"I know very well how to deal with Kelvin, " Kai said angrily and move towards his Cabin. His gaze falls on Stormy who is standing in front of a huge screen and looking at the share market board with very serious expressions.

"Fiona we aren't going to the cruise party..." Kai said, but Stormy didn't reply to him, she Is busy writing notes on her notepad

"I have found a company to invest in. Come here..." Stormy said, and point her finger at the company name.

" it's a drowning company, Investing in it can cost us a lot..." Kai said, Stormy, twirled to look at him.

"Believe me investing in this company at this time will be most beneficial. I have a plan but to execute this plan, we will need a brilliant team..." Stormy said

"We don't have that many funds to hire a brilliant team..." Kai said but Stormy smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll find the team in 10 days but you have to say yes to this plan..." Stormy said,

Hearing her words, Kai folds his arms near his chest and stares at Stormy.

Kai was about to say something but they heard the Bell sound on the door, Kai and Stormy looked towards the door, "Who Is it...?" Kai asked opening the door with the help of remote

A dashing man steps into the cabin with a huge black box. a beautiful bouquet and ribbon are wrapped around that box.

Kai looked at the man with a questioning look, "if I am not wrong, you are Kelvin's man right?" Kai asks and the man politely nods his head.

"What are you doing here...?" Kai asks him in a very rude tone.

"I am here to deliver this box to Ms. Fiona..." The handsome guy said and put the box in Stormy's hand.

"It's a small present from Mr. Kelvin, he requested you to wear this dress at tonight's party..." The guy said, before Stormy says anything Kai got up from the chair angrily and hold the collar of the handsome guy in a very rageful manner.

"She will not attend any party, do you hear me? Now take your s**t back with you..." Kai said to the guy in a very harsh manner, his eyes are emitting fire in that guy's direction.

"Could you leave my decisions to me, I want to attend tonight's party because your company sink, I'll drown too. " Stormy said and accept the gift box from the man with a hard expression.
