Red’s Maid

Seven

After crying for some time she got up and dusted the dust off of her clothing. She looked around for a possible escape but there was none besides the window. She opened it and looked down . She was high . Very high.

But she was beginning to think. Would it be better just end it all instead of being with the alpha ? His mate at that. She knew what mates and all that were but she prayed that she didn't have a mate with a werewolf. She just wanted to me a normal girl but some people had other sayings apparently.

She laid her head near the window and watched the children play outside. She saw the the teenagers coming back from school and she saw them excited about something but she didn't know what made them so happy. 

She shrugged it off and looked around more as her eyes landed on his closet. She walked to his closet, touching his clothing with ease. She had to deny the smell he has . It would made her insides turn with butterflies and as much as she wanted to pass the feeling she couldn't . 

Eve looked down seeing a little green box. She looked around making sure the big bad alpha wasn't here and picked it up. What was inside was a note and a bottle of blood. She picked up the note ; curiosity got the better of her , and she read the note.

Red . My precious . The love of my life . I'm sorry for running away . I couldn't handle your anger anymore. Every day , every night was a torture. I felt suffocated and trapped . After the child died you've change and I don't like it. When you find this letter I'll be already gone . You won't smell me , I've been planning this for years . I will always love you Red but I can't take this anymore. Goodbye my love . Don't come looking for me. This blood is the mine , cherish it .

Eve looked at the note before covering her mouth with horror. So the rumors were false ? The Luna didn't get killed by rouges but she ran away because of Red's temper. Eve bit her lips as she placed the note back in the box and placed it back to where it was.

Eve got to thinking . So they are still mates right ? She didn't die so their bond is still active . If only she was here I wouldn't be matted to a animal. 

She walked back from the closet and sat down on the chair. Her mind raced with the thoughts and she was confused by the bit . It was normal though after all she was only just human who barely knowledge on the wolves . She felt her eyes droop some hours later and she fell asleep on the alphas desk.

When she had awakened she was no longer on the desk but in a bed . A arm was on her waist and a nose was on her neck. She stiffened at the contact and looked down seeing Red possessively holding her. He looked as if he was have a nightmare , his face was pale , he was whimpering like a little puppy and he was shaking . 

"Please . Don't leave me Cassie . I'm sorry I'll change." Cassie . His suppose dead mate. Eve crinkled her eyebrows not understanding what to do. He was starting to pull her in more and she bit the inside of her cheek.

She hesitantly placed a hand through his hair and played with it. He wasn't shaking anymore but his wolf was still whimpering . She carefully placed a hand on his cheek and smooth out his face . "Y-you're having a nightmare it's going to be okay." She coos hesitantly. Even though her skin crawled with fear she didn't want the alpha to like kill her in his sleep or something .

Soon he was not shaking and he woke up. His eyes red and his lip out. He didn't say anything only cradled her and went back to sleep. She removed her hands and looked to the side seeing his room had gone messy again. She sighed .

The next time she had awakened it was morning and not the middle of the night . He was still holding her and she felt her heart pick up. She touches his arm , immediate shocks erupting and she pulled it off. She got off of the bed and noticed she was changed ! She blushed and covered her body the best she could . She was in a black shirt that smelled like him and had only panties on.

The thought of him changing her made her eyes widened in horror and she wiped the few strands of tears. She walked out , praying everyone was asleep and she thanked the gods everyone was .

She held her shirt down to cover up and ran to her room. Once she was in she made sure to lock it and get ready for her work.  She took a shower , washing her hair while she was at it. She put her uniform on and placed her long hair in a low ponytail like always and brushed her teeth . 

She was hoping that the alpha would just leave her alone this year but they both knew it was impossible to deny fate.

When she got out she saw the maids getting up and ready and then the loudest growl erupted . The growl made the maid shriek and the werewolves to come out of their rooms , ready to fight. Eve chewed on her bottom lip as she saw Red coming out of his room. He was breathing heavy and clenched and unclenched his hands as he growled.

"Eve!" He yelled , his voice with a low growl and sniffed the air instantly catching his eyes on her. The maids looked at her confusion as she played with her fingers.

She looked up and he was in front of her like a flash. He was glaring at her making her look away but he only roughly brought her face towards him. "Don't you ever leave like that." He growled out as his wolf purred at the closeness of his mate. 

"Okay." She simply said , not wanting to anger the alpha anymore . She noticed his eyes were still red and it was as if you could hear his rapid heartbeat.

Red looked at all his maids , they instantly scurried away and red grabbed her hand and pulled it to his face . This made her tense as she looked at her hand and then back at him. He looked at her deeply before titling her neck and he snuggled in his mark. The action made her involuntary moan and she covered her mouth.

He kissed and grazed his teeth over his mark making the greatest shocks ever. "You're mine. My mate ." He said before lifting his head up and taking her face in his hands . "I have alpha work . Stay in my room."

She looked at him with pleading eyes. "Please sir. Let m-me work ." She quivers out as she looked at him with slight puppy dog eyes she wasn't even attending to make.

This made Red stare at her with adoration before pulling her into a hug. "Of course . If that's what you'd like." It was as if he was different person slightly startling her but she passed it. 

He lets her go and kisses her cheek. He held on her hand before walking with her hand still attached. She tried to pull it away but the alpha would only tighten his grip. He wanted everyone to know that she was his mate and their future Luna . Of course Eve didn't want that . She didn't like werewolf nor she want to be associated with them and if she became the Luna or this pack , she knew that she was going to have to do responsibility she thought would never happen.

Whispers erupted as he walked down proudly with his mate on the side. Francis came down and looked at her before looking at Red. "Some people crossed the land . They said they wanted to come into this pack ." Francis says as he hugs Eden tightly next to him.

"Alright , I'll see them soon. For now I couldn't give a s**t. Attention everyone!" He said loudly as he brought Eve in front of him. He placed his hands on neck , soothing her knots with his thumps.

Instantly the wolves and maids came near and huddle up . They all whispers at Eve and some were looking at her as if she was just another w***e for the alphas pleasure. Little did they know.

"As the alpha of the Lupine Pack I'd like to announce your Luna , Eve Rosetta , a human." The wolves eyes widened at the fact that their new Luna was a human.

It was rare to have human mates but it wasn't impossible. Even some alphas have human mates . Eve looked away from the crowd and her tears were threatening to come out but she held them in. Afraid of what he would do if she were to cry .

He placed a hand on her waist as they all chanted for their Luna . Praising her. He turned her body towards him and lifted her chin before kissing her. Soft and gentle .

She had her eyes open , watching him with much hatred and he only deepened the kiss. She felt the same bundle of shocks appear and it was as if someone was taking over her body. 

She kissed him back with the same motion as him making his wolf purr . He departed and placed his forehead on her lips bruised and her eyes closed. She thought that was the best kiss she had ever had.

And she really hated the thought that she could actually love a kiss from an animal like himself .
