Eight

Eve looked at all the wolves greeting her with joyful smiles. Eve only kept her head down, trying her best to steady her breaths. She heard some say how a scrawny human Luna does no good to the pack making here look at them but just look back down.

She didn't understand how she would be a leader to a pack. "Luna! My names Isabella !" A little girl bounces as she grabs Eve's hand. She was tiny: her brown curly locks bounced on her shoulders and her yellow eyes shined. Her teeth sharp as a razor and her little dress made her adorable.

"Please call me Eve." She whispers as she pulls her hand away from the child. The child slightly frowned at her before waltzing away to more children.

Eve looked at Louie who looked like he was happy for her but she didn't understand why. Who could be happy to be mated to someone like him! He's cruel, a slave owner, and a manipulative person. He screamed danger. "Eve." He says as he snaps a hand in her face to her get attention. She didn't even realize she was in a daze.

"Y-Yes, sir?" She whispers as she looks at him with a quivering lip. Red looked at her before sighing and pulling her bottom lip down, his thump on her lip sent shocks of excitement making Eve lean to his touch involuntarily. 

"Call me Red." He says with a stern look as he touches her cheek. She felt her skin crawl as he kissed her other cheek. "I'll leave you be then." He says as he lets her go. His wolf whining because of the distance but he left. 

Eve sighed as she places both her shaky hands in one hold. She grabbed her cleaning tools and began to walk to the other maids. The humans looking at her with wide eyes but other girls had something to say...

"She comes here for only like a day and is the suppose alphas second mate. I've been working here for three years , are you f*****g kidding me?" A blonde-haired girl says as she tries to whisper to her friends but Eve heard her clearly.

She would gladly have her take her position in a heartbeat. "I know. He probably just uses her for a quick fuck." Another blonde says as she cleans the mess the children made.

Eve bit the inside of her cheek as she looked away and began dusting off all the medals from the alpha. She felt a hand on her shoulder making her flinch and she sees Louie with a sad smile. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for ditching you, I just felt .. a little jealous from all the attention you're getting from the alpha ." He pouts as he slumps his head down in shame.

Eve only smiled at him before softly touching his hair. "I understand. Don't do it again, you're like my only friend here." The word friend made something in him twitch with happiness and he smiled at her before getting on his tippy toes and pulling her into a hug.

"Roger." He said as he smiled at her then grabbed his dustpan and began doing some work. She smiled and laughed every time he would make a joke slight brightening her mood.

"Bitch." The blonde girl muttered as she bumps Eve's shoulder causing her to fall and hit her hand on the wood, a splinter making a form of blood on her pale hands.

She looked up at the blonde before looking at her hand. "I don't understand what I've done wrong." She says as she gets up and looks at her with wide eyes. 

The girl chuckled before she placed a hand on her waist and glared at her. "Stealing the alpha from us. That's what you've done. Why couldn't you just be a good little girl and not come here-

A loud growl interrupted the blonde causing Eve and the maids to fall tense. "How dare you talk to my mate like that?" Red says as he comes in front of Eve quickly and holds the blonde by her throat.

The blonde gasped for air as her eyes showed a confused look. "B-But... I-I-I thought w-we were...."

He laughed before slamming her on the wall. "You were nothing. Just another desperate human who wanted someone to love her." He says evilly as his hold on her tightens.

"You're going to kill her Red," Francis says as he watches the act with a bored expression on his face. He didn't really care for the girl but he didn't want to have to clean the mess.

Red eyes were black meaning his wolf was taking over and there was a slight c***k. There was a feeling in Eve's heart as she felt compelled to stop him. She hesitantly grabbed his hands and squeezed it. "P-Please let her go." She whispers as she looks down. She read once that the only way to calm your mate is to reassure them that you're there and that they don't need to release their anger.

Red stiffened as he looked at Eve and then back to the pale maid. He lets go, her body falling to the ground and her coughing was loud. "Take her to the slaves. For now on you're a slave ." He says as he turns back to Eve and holds her hands. He picks her up and starts moving to his room.

She looked up at him, his eyes were shifting. He was mind linking the alpha to kill the girl but he didn't want to say it in front of everyone . Especially his mate. "Sir?" She whispers as she looks up at him.

"Eve. I said to call me Red." He warns as he playing glares at her and he made it to his office. He sat down, she sat between his legs and her body started to shake a little with fear.

"I'm sorry Red." She says as she places her head down. Red looked at her before her mark and he lowly growled. He opens his mouth ready to sink in her before she does the unspeakable. 

She leaned into his touch, not even realizing it making Red stop and look at her. Once she realized what she did she moved away but he only brought her back, her warmness setting a great feeling in him. "I'm going to kill her." He speaks lowly, the thought of that useless human made him squeeze her tighter.

"P-please don't kill her Red." She felt the other maids would hate her because she would be the cause of the girl's death. 

Red looked at her before sighing and wrapping his arms on her waist. He lays his head down on his mark, the contact making her moan softly but she quickly covered it up with wide eyes. Red lowly growled as he turned her around so that she was now straddling him.

He looked up at her with so much lust, he didn't think it was ever possible to feel this type of love. She looked away as her heart began to race and Red could smell her arousal making him smile. 

"I'm sorry for marking you." He apologizes once again as he tilted her head to his eyesight. She looked at him weirdly before nodding her head. "I'm sorry for doing this." 

Eve's eyes widened at the last sentence and she saw that his eyes had fully turned black. "Please no, please ." She begs out but it was no use. He brought her neck to his mouth and began kissing and sucking on her mark. She felt her t**s hardened and panties droop.

The bite mark was the most sensitive of the body. When you're first bitten, it's mixed with pain but when it's touched by the mate, it starts feeling a type of pleasure that is impossible to control. When the mark is bitten in more than once then the person being bitten supposedly turns into a new form person and Red hated that he had to do this but he couldn't control himself when it came to Eve.

Eve gritted her teeth as she grabbed his hair and before she knew it he sinked his teeth in her. She closed her eyes as she leaned her head back. Red departed from her and looked up at her. It was hard to explain. Her mind was racing with horny thoughts and it scared her to death.

She felt strongly connected to him and as much as she hated to admit it she loved the feeling.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and tightened it as she softly cried. Red only pulled her in tightly. 

She had enough.
