Searching for the prefect elite is apparently a hard job..., it is either they had left the kingdom or they are now involved in nefarious acts. No matter how much Ken want her to be unpresentable, nothing will make him have feelings for a w***e or a lady who owns a whorehouse. It has been hard, trying to find the perfect girl, avoiding his father and running away from Fallon, some how, the girl got it in her head that she can tempt Ken away from the person he is in love with. Ken was seriously offended that she thinks that he is that fickle.
” son, we need to talk. ” his mother, the queen said as she came to ken room where he was poring over the royal records of the elites and their family.
" mother. " ken exclaimed as he tries to cover what he as looking at.
" don't worry, even though I can see that it is the elites linage records, I will not ask what you are doing with it or why you looked so serious going over it. I am not in the mood to find out. ” the Queen dismissed Ken actions with a wave of her hand.
“ should I be worried. " ken asked his mother. The Queen is a good person but she is known for her curiosity and when she is not curious about something you are doing, it means something greater on troubling her.
" if you are lying about having some one you love you should be. " ken gulps at that but his mother just continued ranting. " I don't get why you are doing this to your poor mother. It is okay if you chose to keep her from your father but not me. What did I do wrong? I am not the person who wants to force you to engage princess Fallon, I don't know why I am included in the punishment. "
" mother, slow down. I am not getting what you are driving at. "
" what I am driving at, Kendall is the fact that you haven't brought her to the palace for a visit so I can see her. "
" if I bring her to the palace it kind of the defeat the purpose of keeping her identity a secret for now " ken said dryly while his mother levelled a glare on him.
" what is the use of all these protection you are doing. This is your home, nobody is going to harm the lady you love. " the Queen said exasperated.
" are you sure because last time a checked Fallon stays here and that girl is like a poison she can poison people minds and they haven't seen her yet. " ken pointed out.
Fine, just tell me her name. I will go into the city an look for her myself. " the queen offers but even before she finished the offer ken was already shaking his head in refusal. " no mother. If you see her, you will spend time with her and cause a crowd to follow you then everybody will know and she will be in danger. I don't want that. "
" I just want to meet her. " the Queen said with a sniff .
" and you will, when the time is right. " ken told her.
" if the first time I get to see her is at your engagement ball, I will not forgive you. "
" you think they will allow me to marry her. " ken asks as he peaked up at the news. He hated to act this way or to deceive his mother but right now there is no other choice.
" why won't they allow you. " the Queen frowned.
" in case you didn't noticed, they pretty much wants Fallon and I am sure that if it is not Fallon, they won't push the issue of marrying me. "
" don't worry Kendall, I promise that they won't push you into a marriage that you don't want. " the queen vowed remembering the troubles she went through before her marriage to the ken father. She would not let her son go through that.
" thank you mother. " ken smiled knowing that this means that he is almost free from Fallon. His mother will do everything in her power to make sure that he is not forced into a loveless marriage and when the council disagree that he can't marry the girl, he gets his freedom.
" you are welcome. " the queen nodded as she left his room while he continued to smile.

" I found it. " Jared yells as enters ken room without knocking.
" thank God. " ken said as he sat up on the bed.
" what is wrong. " Jared asks noticing his friend mood. Sure ken moods are down these days but this is worst than normal.
" my mother visited and I had to lie to her. I hate lying to her. It always feel like I am betraying her." Ken groans.
" well you won't have to lie for long. I found the perfect girl. " Jared grins.
" who. " ken asks.
" Annabelle, she is the daughter of a former minister. " Jared said with glee while ken glared at his friend.
He shook his head at Jared. Sometimes he wondered why he became friends with a guy who is dumb. " what. " Jared asked when he noticed the look that ken was giving him.
" if her father held a position that means he was popular and that means he is well loved. Use your brain Jared. " ken shook his head at his friend.
" I did use my brain, her grand father had a very good political reign until he was assassinated. Her father as given the position when he finished his studies, he was straight laced and he made enemies so much that other minsters hated him and lied to your father that he wasn't a good fix for that position, he was stripped of his position and now although they are elites, they live like merchants, rich but not so rich. " Jared explained.
" you are a genius " ken said as he let out a laugh. " so everyone will hate her because of her lineage and yet she is suitable for the position of a queen. Great, let her know that I will pay her a visit soon. "
" that is the twist your highness. " Jared said as he scratched his head. " nobody knows where she is. "
