Through out that day, Ken was like an enraged bull that has been poked, he made the castle quiet and fearful because any servants he saw, he reigned his fury down on them.

" will you stop taking out your anger on others. " Jared snap at his friend tired of the way the maids try to run away from them after bowing to them.

" I cannot help it. " Ken gritted out. Thinking about Flynn in his castle and home is making his blood to boil, how dare him.

" you need to let go of the bad blood between the two of you. " Jared pointed out but Ken just shook his head.

" I will never let it go. I hate him, I hate his sister, I hate his parents. "

" now you sound like you are throwing a tantrum. " Jared breathed out before continuing " you just can't hate the king and queen of another kingdom just because you hate their children. "

" yes I can. They raised their children up so that means that they are just like their children. I hate the fact that my kingdom has to share a boarders with those vile... " Ken ranted but Jared quickly covers his mouth. " what " Ken asked Jared glared at the hand on his mouth which was muffling his voice.

" the walls have ears. " Jared reminded Ken who just pushed Jared hand away from his mouth

" and so ? " Ken asked

" and so that means that this can get back to Flynn and you might be on the brink of war for insulting the king and queen, you will have to do whatever they want you to do. " when Ken still look like he doesn't get the gist of the news Jared continued " imagine how convenient that will be to your supposed marriage with princess Fallon. "

Ken realised what Jared was saying as he thought on the issue then clapped Jared on the shoulder " thank you my friend for saving my life once more. You always manage to do that. "

Jared shrugged out of Ken hold " stop doing that to me. I told you that your hold is too painful. "

" you don't complain when others do it. "

" that is because your hold is different. Yours is like a vise. "

" still.... " Ken started only to stop when he saw Flynn moving their way.

" don't argue just turn back and start walking fast. "

Jared pivot on his heel as he obeyed Ken who was right besides him by walking fast. He hated Flynn too. The guy was too pompous for his liking and always tried to treat him like a servant.

" prince Ken, wait up. " Flynn shouted and Ken froze.

" can we ignore him? " Ken asked Jared quietly

Jared shook his head. " we can't since you already stopped so that means that you heard unless you want rumours to go round the palace that you don't like the new guest. "

" it won't be a rumour, it's the truth. " Ken whispered to Jared.

" honestly Ken, you are a genius, use your brain sometimes. If the rumours start, your father will have to stop them and what better way to stop them than to announce your engagement to his sister. "

" you are right. " Ken said after thinking about it for a while.

" I am always right. " Jared scoffs.

" what are you right about ? " Flynn asks as he came into hearing distance of Ken and Jared without shouting.

" nothing you should hurt your little brain with thinking about. " Jared said with a smile.

" are you saying that my brain is little? " Flynn flares up.

" ate you saying it is big. " Jared asked with his eyebrows raised.

" you need to learn your place commoner. " Flynn threatens.

" I am an elite and you know that. " Jared replied confused about the commoners dig.

" you are a commoner where royalties are. " Flynn said gesturing at Ken and himself.

" and you are an outsider. " Ken jumps into the conversation. " stop getting on my best friend nerves Flynn. He is the captain of my private guard for a reason. "

" hello. Brother in-law. " Flynn greeted Ken with a smile as Ken glares at him.

" when I said that you should not vex my friend, I never said you should vex me. " Ken gritted out through clenched teeth.

" why am I vexing you, after all we would be brothers after you marry Fallon. She will soon arrive. She told me to come ahead so that I can arrange her quarters to be close to yours and the way she likes it... " Flynn said as Ken became more angry.

Just like Fallon to send her brother first. He gets that they are twins and connected but he can barely deal with Fallon not to add Flynn to the mix, a guy who sometimes operates at half his brain. He has a feeling that Fallon would want Flynn to stay here even when she is married and that he cannot allow. Right now, he doesn't even want to imagine Fallon being his wife. The thought of it makes him physically sick.

" don't tell me that if I do marry your sister that you will stay here. " Ken asks cutting Flynn in the middle of his tirade.

" of course I will stay here. Where else would I stay. Me and Fallon are a package deal. You know that. " Flynn said as if Ken was slow not to realise that nugget of wisdom.

" no. You won't stay here and if I have my way, your sister won't stay here either. I will not marry her and there isn't anything anybody cannot do to change my mind in the issue. " Ken roared not caring about where he is or Jared who was holding him back.

" prince Ken. Your father wants to see you. " a maid said softly in the background and when Ken realised what he said and where he said it, horror dawn on his face. He slowly lifted his eyes to his father study windows and he saw his father standing there with the windows opened.

His father heard everything he said even if he couldn't remember them, he knew that they were pretty bad with the dark scowl that is etched on his father face that he could even see from some distance away.
