Chapter 8: Transfer Students

--- Two weeks have passed since the survival competition o the deserted island has ended. After many classes and rigorous training, every student became way stronger and wiser, as well as being able to think more like an actual fighter.

 And now, going to the training fields, we can see numerous students training, to become yet stronger.

"So strong!: shouts Mizuki and also the rest of her class in unison after witnessing Dusk's powerful magic getting another incredible value at the magic measurer.

 At the same time, class D had its regular physical training...

"Hikari is so cool!" shout his classmates while looking at him exceeding five hundred push-ups.

 Then the principal arrives on the training field and shouts once:

"Enough training for today, brats! I have to tell you something really important!"

 At this call, everyone started paying attention to the huge presence that just arrived, being the principal.

"We are going to have some new students from other countries! They are called Country Representatives... One of them will go to Class B and one will go to Class D! I want you to show them the place... And with you, I mean Dusk and Hikari!"

 Meanwhile, Dusk and Hikari were still competing against each other in the back, in a fighting competition.

"You two..." says the principal with a scary, angered expression.

"I sense danger..." mutters Hikari

 Dusk was already running away while Hikari said that...

 The principal took Hikari by the head, and then like a bowling ball, he threw him into Dusk, thus knocking them both down. Then he shouted:

"Don't make me repeat myself!"

"Y-Yes, sir!" shouted the two of them after getting up.

 Later, after the end of the classes, while in their room, Dusk asked Hikari:

"How do you think the new students will be?"

"Hmm... Having the title of representative of a country might mean they are pretty strong. Maybe a challenge for us..." says Hikari

 After that, just like usual, both Dusk and Hikari fall asleep pretty fast. The next day comes fast, with everyone doing his daily routine as usual.

 The lessons start normally... In the classroom of Class B, the teacher came with some other boy following her from behind.

"Good morning class! He is your new classmate... Would you mind introducing yourself?" says miss Aiko.

"Hello everyone... My name is Alex Hayama and I am Germany's Representative student and my magic type is shadow. Happy to meet you"

 Meanwhile, in Hikari's classroom, the principal entered as well just like usual, with one boy following him...

"Good morning, brats! This is my new toy! Introduce yourself, kid!"

"Hello, my friends! I am Fabio Petrenkov, I am the representative student of Russia and this is my BIG friend!" and he draws a big sniper literally out of nowhere.

"Where did he get that...?" muttered the rest of the class in unison, looking at their new classmate with a dumbfounded expression.

"Umm, mister teacher? Can I be the class representative?" asked Fabio

"No, we already have one," and then he looks in Hikari's direction, just to see him sleeping once again.

 Then Fabio takes a hold of his sniper, charges it and shoots straight in Hikari's direction... However, Hikari draws his lightsaber and in just a fraction of a second, he cut the bullet away... While still standing with his head on his desk, seemingly sound asleep.

"He is the class representative because of his good reflexes..." said the principal.

"Is he actually sleeping...?" thinks Fabio with an astonished look on his face.

"Hikari!" shouted the principal just before throwing a book towards him to wake him up, however, he caught it easily and then after standing up, he said:

"Oh cool... I needed this book... I lost mine last week!"

 The entire class fell into an awkward silence... After giving himself a facepalm, the principal said:

"Just show this kid the place..."

"Yes, sir!" replied Hikari

 Even though Dusk and Hikari had the simple job to show Alex and Fabio the school, the two of them managed to easily seclude themselves in their room until the next day came. And thus, a new day came bringing with it more challenges... And now, the two heroes are still wondering how the principal would react if he found out that they didn't do what he told them to...

 The students do their usual routine and then go to the training field where class B and class D have a common lesson like always. However, in class D there is seemingly no teacher. The principal is missing... He entered the training fields a few minutes after the other students started training, with the two new students next to him.

"Those are our training fields... This is where most of your lessons will take place so make yourself comfortable here as soon as possible!" said the principal

"I brought you here now because I wanted to see your abilities and also your classes have a common lesson right now." he continued.

 Then, the principal shouted so everyone could hear him.

"Attention everyone! I want everyone to leave the training fields!"

"Is he going to make the new students fight each other?" thinks Hikari

"Hikari Ianku and Dusk Aome... You stay here!" shouted the principal once again.

"Huh...?" said both of them at once.

"Crap, he got us Hikari!" said Dusk

 Then Hikari started thinking about how they ran away yesterday so that they didn't have to show the new students the school.

"We are dead... Listen Dusk... If he says something, use your magic to create a smoke coverage and run..." said Hikari

 Then, the principal came to them and said: "The two of you are the best students in your classes... I want you two to fight with the new students so that I can see their abilities myself!"

"The rules are simple... One versus one, weapons are allowed and of course, don't hold back... Dusk, you are still not allowed to use all of your magic... Or you know what... Don't use it at all!"

 Dusk could only stare at the principal with an astonished look after he just told him that he had to fight his opponent without using any magic, even though he was an actual mage...

"Who wants to go first...?"

 Hikari and Dusk looked at each other and then decided to do rock-paper-scissors, it ending with Dusk's loss...

"How is he winning every single time at this...?" thinks Dusk

"There's a strategy even in this game..." mutters Hikari

"Okay, it's decided... Dusk, you fill fight Fabio Petrenkov!" said the principal

"Remember Dusk... You are not allowed to use magic... It will be too easy for you if you've done so..." he added

 Dusk and Fabio took their positions on the field. Every student got at their spectator seats...

"Hehe! A mage without magic is like a bear without its claws and fangs!" said Fabio

"Let the match between Dusk Aome and Fabio Petrenkov, begin!"

"I might be at a disadvantage, but I don't think he can move that fast..." thinks Fabio

 But just then, Dusk charged at Fabio with incredible speed, and then punched him in the belly...

"Are you serious?!" thought Fabio

 Dusk attacks again, but this time, Fabio managed to draw out a knife, managing to block Dusk's punch with it...

"You are crazy strong, you know?" asks Fabio

 Then Dusk attacked him once again, but his attack was blocked once more...

"I will eventually run out of stamina... I need to think of something, fast!" thinks Fabio

 Then after blocking another attack from Dusk, he managed to take some distance...

Afterwards, he pulled out a bottle of vodka, a piece of cloth and a lighter...

 He put the piece of cloth in the bottle of vodka and lighted it off... He then threw the newly created molotov cocktail between him and Dusk... The explosion makes a smoke leakage...

 However, the smoke started going out, making it easier to see Dusk in the middle of it with his weapon. He was spinning with his scythe so fast that the smoke dissipated.

"A scythe... It had to be a scythe!" said Fabio

 After the smoke disappeared, Dusk attacked Fabio once again, charging forward with the blonde from the end of the scythe... Fabio hardly blocked the attack with his knife and fell to the ground... Then Dusk shouted to the principal:

"What would happen if I used my magic?!"

"The battle would stop, resulting in a tie!" he replied.

"...Good... I am too bored of this..." said Dusk, then he used one of his spells on the ground...

Necromancer Magic: Fear Mark...

 A huge magic circle was placed on the ground, making anyone that gets in it get immobilized by fear and chills...

"Good job blocking my attacks..." said Dusk

 After deactivating this incredible spell... He faced Fabio that was breathing hardly... Then Fabio said:

"There is... something behind you..."

"Sorry... I don't fall for such low schemes..." said Dusk

 However, a fraction of a second after saying that, he is grabbed by the principal...

"I said, "don't use magic"... But what was that?!"

"Umm... I think it's time for Hikari's plan!" said Dusk just before throwing yet another spell on the ground... Vanishing in smoke...

"This brat... I hereby declare this match between Dusk Aome and Fabio Petrenkov, a draw!"

"The next battle is between Hikari Ianku and Alex Hayama! Get into your positions!"

 Hikari started approaching the battlefield but is then stopped by Dusk that came back after running for a bit...

"Watch your weapons..." whispered Dusk, letting then Hikari continued his road without saying anything.

"Don't you think you can escape that easily, Aome!" shouted the principal that managed to tie Dusk to a huge pillar with some chains...

 After a moment of silence, the next two fighters got in position... The atmosphere so so heavy. Hikari against Alex Hayama... Dusk is tied on a pillar and the principal that is just next to him... Is ready to announce the start of this fight...

"Let the fight between Hikari Ianku and Alex Hayama, begin!"
