Chapter 4: Fake Descendant.

It's official. Lavi have quitted the Red Rose academy. He's annoyed because Jack doesn't want him. So it took a little bit of 'Confirming.' And yes. It's Brainwash.

Lavi have packed his stuff in his Storage Magic. He's ready to search for another inn. Or go back to Dreadful Oak.

'I don't really want to stay at Dreadful Oak. Gwen is going to be a target there and I don't like it. I'm easily annoyed when it comes to Gwen or Riri.'

Lavi thought. What he's worrying about is for Gwen to get hit by another man. For Lavi, It can be dangerous because he can get crazy and destroy the inn itself.

'So let's search for some inn that more big because I don't want to sleep alone. I want to cuddle with Gwen!'

Lavi thought. His face is really serious and yet awkward at the same time. It's a weird look for sure.

Lavi comes down from Jack's Office and went back to his room. He open the door and see that Gwen is just come out of the bath.

"Oh, You're back already? How does the process go?"

Gwen asked. She's brushing her hair down right now. Lavi sighed and said.

"It took come confirming. But I managed to get out. So we need to leave now."

Lavi said. Gwen pull her hair back and then she's done.

"I see... You're using Brainwashing magic again didn't you?"

Lavi look at her awkwardly. He doesn't give her any answer.

"You did huh. Oh well. Let's go search for an inn. I know some good inn that we can stay. It's not cheap though."

Gwen said. Lavi take his mantle out from his Storage magic and put it on. Same goes to Gwen. Gwen hold Lavi shoulder and they teleported to the alleyway of the Inn.

"It's called CH. And I don't know the real name but, Who cares! It's shorter that way!"

Gwen was excited. They went inside the Inn and order their room. They order their room for one month and they pay 2 Platinum Coin for it.

The place is fancy and nice. No Old men going around drinking and punching people. There's only a few people who lives here because it's really expensive. So there's another bonus for Lavi and Gwen.

They went upstairs and reach their room. Lavi open the lock and door and go inside. They were greeted by a welcome mat and the room itself is quite big. The bed is a big bed for them both to sleep on.

But before they do anything Lavi use his Magic.

"Clean. Aura Read."

Lavi instantly clean the whole room and see if there anything hostile in the room like camera or something. He found nothing of some sort. So that's nice.

Lavi check the fluffiness of the bed. Gwen is checking the bathroom and sorts. Lavi lay down on the bed and instantly. He was hit by a high level of comfortableness.

"Sis! It's nice~" 

Lavi said. Gwen took off her mantle and lay down beside Lavi.

"Oh yeah... It's nice..."

Lavi and Gwen look at the ceiling. They started to yawn and immediately hug each other.

"What are we going to do? Sleep? What about Riri?"

Lavi asked. Gwen immediately said.

"Yes, We're going to sleep and about Riri. Let's just leave her be for the time being. She's training so hard to control her Blinkstrikes more. If we appear, She will lose her focus."

Gwen explained to Lavi. Lavi nodded and he yawn again. He immediately look at Gwen on the eyes. Gwen stared at him back.

Lavi smiled and close his eyes. Gwen immediately brush Lavi hair and she close her eyes as well.

Couple hours go by. They sleep for 4 Hours by now. The bed is just swallowing them deeper to their sleep. But Gwen wake up and immediately stood up. She stretches for a bit and went to the bathroom. After she's done, She went back out and call Lavi.

"Lavi. Wake up. It's Afternoon now. Let's go meet Riri."

Lavi open his eyes slowly. He scratch his eyes and go to the bathroom. After he finish washing his face, He goes out with a really fresh face.

"Let's go Sis. I'm ready now."

Gwen immediately stood up and they go out the normal way. They walk out of their Inn and go back to the Academy.

But they didn't go inside the academy. They just wait on the outside of the academy and then, Riri comes. She's sweaty because of the training.

"Sorry for the wait!"

Riri immediately bowed toward them. They don't mind the wait and they just left again. They go to the same forest as before. But this time, They're not fighting against monster.

"Riri, You're going to fight against me."

Lavi stated. Riri nodded nervously. She take out her sword that Lavi lend her. Lavi take out his sword. Gwen is ready to heal them if they're injured.

"Alright. Is everyone ready?"

Gwen asked. Lavi and Riri nodded. Gwen put her hand together and Riri leaped to Lavi. Without any hesitation. She swing her sword toward Lavi neck.

Lavi look at the sword and flick his neck back. He then decide to leaped toward Riri and swing his sword down.

Riri immediately bounces her attack toward Lavi. First strike, Hit Lavi on the sword.

'There it is. The Blinkstrike.'

Lavi thought. But Lavi is also a master on using Blinkstrikes. But his was different.

Lavi swing his sword up after he reach the ground. Riri shifted to the side and dodge Lavi upward s***h.

But then. A bunch of strong strikes head her way. Riri immediately went all out as well. She bounces her own s***h around herself and block Lavi attempt on slashing her with his Blinkstrikes.

And that tactic shocked Lavi and Gwen.

'You never really want to let your Blinkstrikes protect you. Blinkstrikes for a beginner is really hard to control. People have lost their arm trying to do what Riri is doing. But Riri managed to control her Blinkstrikes to that extend in this amount of time.'

Lavi smiled as he see that.

'Interesting. She's no beginner after all.'

Gwen thought when she saw that. Lavi Blinkstrikes disappear and it just left Riri panting on the side.

"Haah.. Haah... I can keep going!"

Riri declared. Lavi smiled at her.

"Okay. Don't blame me when you're hurt. Because I'm not going to hold back."

Lavi declared. Riri immediately gulped and ready her sword up. Her though are hazy and her body is tired. Usually, Lavi would've stop the training there and give her some rest.

But today. Lavi want Riri to feel what it likes fighting against the Army of Demon Lord who's stronger, faster and also have a giant stamina.

In the battlefield, Lavi went all out all the way. So his thought is always hazy and his body is always tired. Sometimes, Gwen doesn't have time to heal Lavi. So Lavi have to charged in with his injured state.

So he want to recreate that feeling for Riri.

"Here I come."

Lavi said. Lavi eyes is visible to them. That cold eyes is usually hidden under his mask. Riri who's staring at that immediately blushed. And that look that Lavi gave her, Give her a sudden burst of energy.

Lavi become even faster. Riri lost him in an instant. Suddenly, She feel the cold steel hit her neck. And she can feel that blood bursting.

'I'm dead...'

Riri thought. In her vision, Lavi slashed her and decapitate her. But in reality. Lavi just dashed past her without swinging anything.

"Huh?"

Riri go back to the real world and check her neck.

"Eh? I thought I was dead?"

Gwen immediately explain.

"That's Lavi True Bloodlust that you just felt. The difference between the True Bloodlust and that bloodlust you felt when fighting against Lavi in the arena was, The True Bloodlust give the affected the feeling of death. While Normal Bloodlust only give them a really terrifying feeling."

Lavi nodded like 'That's true~' Riri is amazed by that ability. Lavi can kill people without actually killing them.

"I see! That explain everything! Thank you so much for the training."

Riri let out a soft smile. Lavi and Gwen smiled at her and pat her back. Gwen immediately clean her and heal her.

Her Stamina was restored. And then, Riri said.

"I got the picture of the Count Son. You guys want to see him?"

Riri asked. Lavi and Gwen nodded. Riri take something from her pocket and it's a portrait of the count Son.

They were disgusted. The Man is a really lanky man. He look really tired and perverted. His bone is showing from under his skin. He's that skinny. His hair is really bad.

"Yup. You shouldn't marry him. He look like a douche."

Lavi said. Gwen look at the description.

"He's 32 Years Old Shut in?! No! Riri! Do not marry him!"

Gwen screamed. Riri look at them 'That's what I'm saying!'

Lavi face turn serious. Gwen immediately know what he's going to do. It's not going to be pretty.

"Lavi. You're thinking of brainwashing again?"

"No... I'm not going to Brainwash people... It took a bunch of my Magic away and if I need to fight and My Magic is low. I can't enhance my sword."

Lavi said. Riri immediately asked.

"Can you use magic like fire or water?"

"Well, I can't. My Magic is more a specialty magic. Close Quarter Combat Magic. That's what My Magic was."

Lavi explained. Riri doesn't understand what Lavi mean by that. But she doesn't want to ask what Lavi Close Quarter Combat Magic do.

After that training. They went back to the City and decided to meet again tomorrow in the Castle to discuss some thing with the King. And it's about the Riri and the Count Son Engagement.

"If things doesn't go well, I might have to kidnap Riri."

Lavi muttered.

"Don't think too hard~ Go rest and see where it's going~"

Gwen replied. Gwen is half asleep. Lavi is thinking hard about his plan tomorrow. Gwen grab Lavi shoulder and pull him down to the bed. Lavi immediately get swallowed by Gwen breasts.

"S-Sis! I can't breathe!"

"Hm?"

Gwen immediately push Lavi a bit. Lavi smiled at her and go to sleep. And the next day. They wear their mask on.

Lavi as Ace and Gwen as Angle. That's their Aliases. Lavi and Gwen went to the Gate of the castle and everyone kneeled. Their mark was visible because they're not wearing their gloves. And they were guided to the throne room.

The King immediately run off from the throne and kneeled before them both. Riri is also doing that behind him. Same goes to the Queen.

"Welcome Lord Ace and Angel. It's an honor to meet you guys in person."

The King said. Lavi and Gwen nodded. And then, They said.

"We want to discuss things with you regarding that princess over there. Shall we go to a more better place?"

Lavi asked. They immediately nodded and they move from the Throne room to a more casual Living Room. They were served the best tea available.

And now, Lavi and Gwen pull their mask off.

"So. Regarding Riri matter. She said to us that you are going to get her engaged with the Count Son. Is that correct?"

"Yes Sir. That's correct."

The king said with disappointed voice. Lavi caught that tone and asked.

"Judging from your voice you don't really like it."

Lavi said. The King nodded. He started Ranting about the Count.

"The Count forced us to do that. He threatened us with someone with the mark of Althea."

Hearing that. Lavi and Gwen get serious.

"I'm sorry. With this Mark?"

Lavi pointed at his left hand. The King Nodded.

"Yes sir! We can't really fight against someone like you guys."

Lavi and Gwen look at each other. They never know any of the party member that stay in Euriana other than them both. Everyone is in other country.

"To be honest with you, There's no way that the Count have someone with our mark. We're the chosen one from Althea. If anything, It's a fake. And Faking Althea Mark and using it for crime. They deserve to die."

Lavi said. Gwen nodded. The Ace has spoken and that word is a must.

"King. Call them right here. I will perform and immediate execution."

Lavi said. He draw his sword and it glow white. Everyone get chills from that light. The king run off and call the Count to the Castle. Along with his son and the Faker.

"Lavi... It seems like things get a little bit hectic. Are you sure you want to handle it by yourself? You don't want to call Leon or Pixel or Luke?"

"No. I don't need to call them yet. But inform them about the Faker... Tch. After we save the world they're trying to get what we work for huh. Bastard..."

Lavi muttered. Gwen nodded and she immediately inform the rest of the 8 member. But what they didn't know, That Faker is already a world wide thing.

Reports after reports keep coming in. But that's is a story for another day.

The Count come in with confidence. Along with a good looking man with poor looking tattoo on his left hand.

Without any hesitation. Lavi use his Magic.

"Shackles, Silence."

In an instant. 3 People were shackles by a light chains and their mouth was shut.

"Well well look who's come to die. And one of them is trying to be a hero. While in front of him is the real hero."

Lavi and Gwen look at them with disgust. They just show their mark and activate it. They immediately look at Lavi and Gwen with wide eyes.

"Now. Go cry to Goddess Althea."

Lavi and Gwen immediately draw their sword. Without telling anything anymore. They just decapitate them.

"And that's done. Sis, Can you clean them up?"

Lavi face was dirtied by their bloods. Gwen smiled and she clean Lavi face.

"Come on Lavi. Don't dirty your face by that dirty blood."

Gwen said. They do a little kiss and everyone didn't expect that.

"So now that's was taken care off. I want Riri as my Lovers as well. Are you okay with that?"

Lavi asked the King. The king smiled.

"Yes! Please accept my Daughter! I've failed her as a father... So Please take care of her."

The King said. Lavi and Gwen smiled.

"Thank you very much. I will love her equally."

Lavi immediately pick Riri up and she blushed. Gwen immediately teleport them to the Inn.

"And we're here!"

Lavi and Gwen arrived at the Bed. They're sitting on the bed with their back on the bed frame. Riri fainted from that. Lavi and Gwen look at each other and shrug their shoulder. Lavi put Riri on the left side and Gwen lay on the right side.

And then they just Sleep. Riri wake up some time later and immediately hug Lavi while grinning. She hug him so hard that Lavi can feel that she's grinding his bone.

'Ouch ouch ouch ouch!!! It's freaking hurt!'

His ribs are getting drilled by her. Lavi try to wake her up but, He doesn't want to. So he use his CQC Magic.

'Pain Resistor Max!'

And then Lavi sleep all the way. In the morning, Riri have left for the Academy. Lavi look at the mirror and see that his ribs are blue.

'Oh my god... It's freaking hurt!'

Turns out, Riri have a big strength when hugging people. She hurt Lavi Amidis. The Leader of 10 Harbingers. The one who always in the brink of death just to protect his party member. And she did that to him.

So Lavi ask Gwen.

"Sis. Can you heal me?"

Lavi show her his rib. Gwen touch Lavi chiseled Stomach and then look at his rib. Gwen use her heal on him and Lavi sighed in relieve.

"Thank you Sis. Now, Let's go back to sleep."

And they slack off. But Gwen have different plan. While Lavi was sleeping by himself. She left to meet the rest of the Harbingers. They have a secret meeting that didn't include Lavi.

And that place is in Hollis Kingdom. The Royal Castle. Gwen arrived with her teleport and went inside the castle without trouble.

Everyone faces is recognize by everyone in the Hollis Kingdom. But they didn't reveal their face to the public in other kingdom. And the reason being is because The Current Queen of Hollis Kingdom.

Her Holiness. Is one of the member of 10 Harbinger. She who hold the job Guardian that enable her to put a really strong Defensive buff to everyone. As well as speak to Althea immediately.

All 9 Member of the 10 Harbinger arrived at their designated room. In that room, It's just a simple round table with 10 Seat. And today. 1 of the seat is empty.

"Alright everyone. Thank you for coming."

"No problem Erina."

Everyone replied. There's Gwen Staria, Leon Niou, Eve Claria, Pixel Xaphier, Erina Hollis, Luke Howard, Kiara Romanoff, Bianca Stars, Brendon Ebbers.

"So, Where's Lavi?"

Erina asked. Everyone look at her and said.

"Didn't you said to not bring him here?"

"Oh right! I forgot about that. Sorry. Anyway, There's a crisis in the world. The rise of Fake Althea Descendant."

Erine go straight into the topic. Everyone have heard that from Gwen when they were meeting that Count. So they're in a really high alert to catch the Fake Descendant.

"So, The public is going crazy about it. And I've received a Divination from Lord Althea. She want us to destroy that fake Descendant and put an end to everything."

Erina said. Everyone nodded. But then, Pixel raise his arm.

"I have a question."

"Yes Pixel. Go on."

What Pixel ask is actually really important.

"How can we track the Fake? Even with my Power, I can't really search the entire world for it. The farthest I can detect stuff is at least half of this world."

Pixel said. Everyone is still impressed by his ability.

"We're going be divided into group. Gwen and Lavi is going to take care of the Euriana and that particular area. While everyone else. You guys are going to search where you live now. Especially you Pixel. Your Search Magic can cover half of the world. If you detect the faker, Just let someone know in that general area."

Pixel nodded hearing Erina Explanation.

"Got it. So I'm the scouter?"

Luke immediately raise his hand.

"Um No! You're not the scouter. You're going to take my job as an actual Scout!"

Luke Howard. He who hold the Alias Assassin. With the job of Scout and Sword with him. He can kill anyone with a single slice unnoticed.

"Well Luke, I guess we need to work together then. Your Shadow Walk is going to come in handy."

Pixel said. Luke sighed and nodded.

"I guess I have to use my Shadow Walk."

Shadow Walk. A really special Skill that only Luke have. There's no one in this world have that exact same skill. Luke can get into a really dark area and travel really fast. As long as it's Dark and not shine with light.

That Skill is really useful in cloudy night. Because he can travel really fast across the world. But that does come in a very large Magic pool to pay.

"Alright everyone. That's it for the meeting. We just want to make sure everyone know the job and Gwen. Tell Lavi when you go home."

"Got it~"

Gwen was getting ready to leave. But then, Everyone stop her.

"Gwen! Congratulation with Lavi!"

They congratulate her for hooking up with Lavi after a long time. She smiled and thanked them.

"Well then everyone. I'll see you when the job is done."

Gwen muttered. Everyone nodded and she teleport back to the Inn. Everyone smiled and they left to their area again.
