Act like a Fool, Shines like a Star!

Chapter 5: Black Dragon.

It's in the middle of the night. It's been a couple of weeks since Gwen meet with the others. And Lavi have heard what they're going to do now. So he's in the edge of his seat. As soon as he heard anything about the fake descendant. He's going to go there and kill them.

But for now, He's just sleeping with Gwen. Riri is in the castle because she doesn't want to sleep with Lavi and Gwen before she graduate. Because people look at her weirdly when she do that. Especially her classmates. Seeing her comes down from a really fancy Inn despite having a room in the Castle is weird.

Lavi, As the Leader of his party. He have a task to keep his party safe. Including Sleeping time. Even if he's sleeping. His Aura Read is still active. If something really dangerous approach them. They can take care of it.

And now it's not that different.

'What was that? I feel an extreme Red Aura. It's Hostile.'

Lavi wake up and hear people screaming outside. Because his room have a Soundproof barrier, They can't hear what's going on outside. So Lavi stick his head out the window.

He see smokes rises from the wall. And on the distance. He saw a mighty black figures with yellow eyes with slit in that eyes. And that creature is spewing black flames out of his mouth.

And it's the Black Dragon. The Strongest Dragon that rule the Sky known to mankind.

There's a bunch of Dragon Type in Vantage. And they're rule each space. Sky, Land and Sea. There's 3 type of Dragon that rule that.

And for the Sky. It's Black Dragon type.

Lavi wake Gwen up.

"Sis! Black Dragon appear!"

Gwen hear that small whisper from Lavi and wake up. They immediately change to their clothes and wear their mask.

"Sis, Save Riri!"

"Got it! You hold the Dragon! I will try to deal with the injured people and the aftermath later!"

Gwen teleported. Lavi run from inside the room. He leap out of the window and use the wall as his step. He leap further to the roof of buildings.

"Sis can't revive someone who's dead. But she can Area heal. Let's hope there's not really much corpse. But only injured people!"

Lavi immediately activate his magic.

'Aura Read, Pain Resistor, Absolute Sharpness.'

Lavi immediately jumped to another roof. He reach the Dragon pretty fast. He saw a bunch of ashes down there. But no people. He grit his teeth.

There's a lot of black flame still rising and moving to another building.

'If things is still going on, The whole Euriana Kingdom is in ruin. I need to stop him! Sis! Please come back fast!'

Lavi can't deal with Black Dragon by himself. He's going to lose for sure because he can't really step to the Black Flame. Only Leon have an absolute resistance to Flame. For Gwen, She can only distinguish the fire.

Lavi jumped to the Dragon and Swing his sword. The Dragon see Lavi and open it's mouth to spew more flame.

"Elemental Splitter!"

Lavi swing his sword and the Flame was split into two. It immediately disappear from the Dragon.

'That's good... I manage to neutralize it before going off.'

Elemental Splitter. The Buff that Lavi apply to his sword to Split anything in this world. He use that to split the Flame into two and destroy all the components.

But he can't really do it for the flame that already spread. That's the weakness.

'Elemental Splitter is a counter spell... I can't use it to something that already happened.'

Lavi look at the Dragon square in it's eyes. The Dragon flapped his wing and a sharp blade made out of wind appear and was shot toward Lavi.

Lavi swing his sword down once and his Blinkstrikes take care of most of it. But one wind blade still managed to get through and slice his shoulder.

's**t. Even with my Pain Resistor... This is bad...'

Lavi was panicking. Black Dragon is probably the Hardest Opponent that he faced so far. Even harder than the Demon Lord.

But he kill the demon lord. So he can kill the Black dragon.

"No choices..."

Lavi heal his shoulder. He only close the wound. The blood that he lost can't come back with it. Only Gwen can do that.

Lavi sheathe his sword again. He put it inside his Storage magic. The Dragon look at him weirdly like 'Why do you put your sword away?'

Lavi mark shines bright in the middle of the night.

"Come to me! Silver Annihilation!"

Lavi called. He break the seal on his Strongest Sword. And from that Light. It was formed, A Silver Sword with a really sharp edge. That edge alone can rival the sharpness of Lavi spell 'Absolute Sharpness' that he apply to his second Strongest Sword.

Lavi grab it and apply his skill.

'Absolute Sharpness, Wind of Freedom.'

Lavi apply his Absolute Sharpness and a spell called Wind of Freedom.

Absolute Sharpness is a spell that Lavi use to Sharpened his sword. It sharpened the sword by 5 Time. In term of power, Lavi current sword have 5000 Sharpness in it. And the usual sharpness is 1000. And the second strongest sword is only 200 Sharpness in normal state.

And Wind of Freedom is a special spell that can only be use when Lavi use his Silver Annihilation. And the effect of Wind of Freedom is give Lavi an extra attack from his initial attack. So when he sliced a bit of the skin, Another s***h will come following that attack. That's how Lavi kill his opponent.

And from his Mask. He activate his spell too.

'Serene Mind, Limit Break.'

Serene Mind is a spell that can be activated when Lavi use his mask. Same as Limit Break. Serene Mind Give Lavi a really calm mind so that he can calculate everything around him.

And Limit Break is a spell that break a limiter of a human. Normally, Human can't beat beastmen, demon, or any type of non-human creature.

So Althea give them the Limit Break.

Lavi Power shoot out 10 times stronger. Without any hesitation, Lavi jumped to the Dragon. He arrived in almost an instant. He swing his sword to the Wing of the Dragon. Since he know, He can't really scratch the Dragon.

One swing. The initial Skin was cut. The Wind of Freedom activate. Same power s***h arrived to the same spot. And it immediately cut the wing off of the Dragon.

With only one wing functioning, The Dragon can't fly. So he retract his only wing and decide to Stab Lavi with his Pointy tail.

'Ah Crap. I forgot about those.'

And the Tail get through Lavi abdomen. Blood is spurting out. Lavi consciousness faded.

'Hm? Don't tell me?!'

Everyone get a tingly feeling. Meaning that someone is close to dying. Gwen immediately thought it was Lavi. Everyone immediately put their outfit and mask.

'Limit Break!!!'

Everyone said. They immediately Charged toward Euriana.

'Lavi! Don't die on us!!!'

They were charging at a really high speed. Gwen teleported to the scene. Her eyes and mouth widened as she can't believe what's in front of her.

Lavi Stomach was stabbed by Black Dragon Tail. And the Black Dragon only lose one of it's wing.

Lavi is on the back of the dragon. He was under a scorching heat of the Black Flame.

Seeing that. Gwen immediately let out an insane bloodlust.

'Serene Mind.'

With Limit Break and Serene Mind activate. Gwen jumped to the Dragon. The dragon spewed his flame to Gwen.

'Disintegration.'

Gwen immediately swing her sword. All The Flame on the ground, and from the Dragon vanished. Even The Dragon have lost the ability to spewed Flame.

And then, Pixel teleported to the Sky.

"Thundergod Judgement!"

He swing his sword down and a giant Thunder Strike the Dragon down. Pixel immediately teleported to Lavi and grab him. Pixel teleported again to Gwen.

"Angel! Save Ace!"

Pixel said. Gwen immediately activate her strongest healing Magic.

"Sanctuary."

In an Instant. Lavi wound closed and he stood up again. With all his buff still in tact. Lavi is ready to struck again.

"Limit Break 10!"

Without any Hesitation. Lavi pull all his restriction out. Now that His power was multiplied by 100. He's ready to go again.

Gwen immediately buff Lavi,

"Agility Boost. Strength Boost."

Lavi glow white. His Mark is glowing as well.

The Dragon who just done getting strike by a Thunder. Turn toward them. He try to spew flame again. But Gwen already disintegrate his flame entirely.

Pixel search for everyone location and Force Teleport them to here.

"Ace!"

Everyone immediately call Lavi out. Lavi immediately said.

"I'm sorry. I got careless and got stabbed... It won't happen again."

Gwen immediately hug him for a bit.

"Go Ace! Go Kill that Dragon!"

Lavi immediately take his stance. His Silver Robe is going crazy. Lavi aura turned really serious. Lavi power flow to his right hand.

"Silver Annihilation."

The world was shined with the Silver Colored flash. And in that instant. Everyone but the 10 Harbingers close their eyes. They were mesmerized by Lavi.

And in that time of Silver. Lavi jumped and swing his sword to the Black Dragon with all his might. His muscle was torn apart. He was bleeding anywhere there's hole in his face. He was so serious that his head started to bleed.

And as soon as he decapitate that Black Dragon. Lavi fall down. Leon immediately charged to help Lavi. He slide down and pick Lavi gently before he hit the ground. Leon immediately charged back at the party.

Leon take off Lavi mask.

"As I expected. Angel. Once again."

Gwen is tired from doing her Sanctuary. So she give Lavi a High Ranked healing magic but weaker than Sanctuary.

"Angel's Grace."

Lavi face turned back to normal. Lavi condition went normal again. Everyone sighed seeing Lavi is fine. They're not too worried about this because it's Lavi. He always do stuff like this.

"Well Everyone... Thank you for coming. I really appreciate you guys here."

Gwen said. Everyone sighed and they took off their mask. They hug Gwen and Lavi who's on the ground and Pixel teleport them back to their places.

Pixel can continuously use a High Ranked Magic because His Magic Pool is big. Although not as big as Gwen. But Most Importantly, His Magic Efficiency is high. He can use High Ranked Magic for less Magic power.

That's why he was given the job Sage. And Pixel hold the Alias 'Sage'... The same as his Job...

Gwen pick Lavi up and teleport back to their inn. Gwen strip down and activate her special skill.

'Slow Sanctuary.'

By keeping skin contact with Lavi. Through out the night, Lavi get the same effect as Sanctuary. The longer she do this, The stronger the effect.

And the morning come. Lavi wake up and see Gwen naked on his naked body. Lavi was blushing. He felt bad because he was so reckless last night.

'Despite having Serene Mind activated, I can't dodge that stab... I'm such a fool...'

Lavi immediately turn to Gwen and hug her body.

'Sis is now my Lover... When we're in a party, We're nothing but a party member. So I don't really care if I die... But now, I can't... I want to be here with her...'

"Sis... I'm sorry..."

Lavi muttered on Gwen ear. Gwen ear went red and she look up to Lavi. Lavi look at her and he just smiled at her.

Lavi stood up and his body is feeling better than before.

"Sis. I'm going training."

"Yeah. Good luck."

It's unusual for Lavi to go training by himself. He already strong so he never really want to train. But now, After he realize his weakness.

'I can't die anymore... I need to be here for Sis and Riri... I can't die. I need to be stronger.'

Lavi arrived at his training spot. Which is far away from Euriana Kingdom. There's Waterfall there and a bunch of demon beast.

'Silver Annihilation... I hope you're working with me.'

Lavi take out his Silver Annihilation and grab it. He unleash the full seal off and put it in his scabbard.

Lavi close his eyes. He let out his bloodlust and the beast immediately charged toward him. Lavi, With nothing but his hearing. Try to kill the beast.

And in just one draw. Lavi kill it instantly, And the blood of that beast attract a horde of what you called a Murder of Bloodlust Crow.

The size of Bloodlust Crow is about the same as Pelican. So the Murder of bloodlust crow is terrifying.

'Too much Red...'

Lavi thought. He open his eyes and spin around in a really fast movement. When he was spinning around, He draw his sword and then jumped.

'Iron Strike.'

Iron Strike. A spell that make A sword s***h feel like a really intense Blow. It won't cut you but it will crush you.

Lavi smack the ground with that and the ground shattered into pieces. The Murder of Crow fly away. Lavi look at the Murder of crow and put the sword back in his scabbard.

He crouched and launched himself to the Murder. Lavi draw his sword and in a really fast movement, He swing his sword around and kill all the Crows.

"Fuuh! It's been a while since I do that... Not relying on my Blinkstrikes but just rely on my speed..."

Lavi fall down and stab the ground with his sword. He take it out of the ground and put it back on the scabbard.

The Hole that Lavi make from stabbing the ground was dyed red. Now, Lavi sword is clean. He put everything in his Storage Magic and jumped to the waterfall to bathe.

After 2 hour of training. Lavi is done. He was training to his limit again. He never thought he would do that ever again.

"That's fun. Definitely will do that again."

Lavi take his own advice for himself. Fight against Strong Monster to Become Stronger. With enough monster he will definitely evolve again.

He charged to the Inn again and meet up with Gwen and Riri.

Riri was worried about Lavi condition after that Dragon attack. And since they're there, Lavi asked her about the condition.

"So Riri, What happened to the Area that the Black Dragon Annihilate?"

"I'm sorry to say... But there's a lot of casualties... Everyone who didn't know that's happening. Died in the Fire..."

Lavi look sad. He just failed to protect people.

"I see..."

Gwen and Riri immediately hug him.

"Listen Lavi... You don't have to save everyone anymore... Our job is to kill the Demon Lord is completed... The rest of the task is just a side quest... You don't have to put your life in risk anymore..."

Gwen said. Riri nodded.

"We don't want you to die and left us... We want to be with you... If possible, For the eternity."

Lavi look at them. They smiled toward him. Lavi sighed and said.

"You're right. I don't have to risk my life to save everyone... I just need to save you guys..."

Lavi muttered. Gwen smiled.

"That's right. It's fine to run you know? We're lucky that night that you are not dead. Even with the 9 of us. Killing Black Dragon is almost impossible. There's going to be at least 5 of us dead before that Black Dragon died..."

Riri was shocked by the power of the black Dragon. When Gwen said that 5 of them can die just to fight Black Dragon. That just tell the power of black dragon.

No wonder it was called the ruler of the sky.

"We're Lucky that I cut his wing. If not, He can destroy more things with his wind blades..."

Lavi said as he hold his shoulder. Gwen notices that and she immediately know that Lavi shoulder was cut.

"Oh well. We're glad that you're still here with us."

Riri said. Lavi smiled.

"Thank you. I'm really glad that you think that of me... It makes me feel really special."

He said. Everyone look at him like 'You're special.' And they just take a rest. The next day. They spotted another fake Descendant.

Lavi is tasked on eliminating them. So in the midst of the night, Lavi get to work. With his Silver Annihilation on his hip. Mask on his face. Robe covering him. He jumped out of the window. He was glimmering with the Moon light.

'Stealth.'

Lavi quickly erase his presence. He run to the place where Gwen told him. The Orphanage. She said that the people that work there started to harass some children using their fake mark.

'And Harassing Children is one of my most hated thing to hear.'

Lavi immediately charged there and use his Aura Read. And there it is. A bunch of White aura with one Red Aura.

Lavi get into the orphanage and see that he was sleeping. His torso is open. And there's some other mark on his back.

'That mark... It's the cult of Demon Lord...'

Cult of Demon Lord. Or as people called it, Demon Lord Cult. Is a Cult where Human, Pray to the Demon Lord for stuff. And the Demon Lord isn't a god. He just a lump of malicious energy. So for those who join the cult, Their brain was instantly turned to evil.

No matter how good they are before, They will turn into evil.

'And it seems like they're trying to pull the impossible... Trying to get people to think that Lord Althea is evil... These Cult must be destroyed.'

Even though the Demon Lord has been killed. His Legacy is still here. So People keep coming to the Demon Lord Cult and they joined.

'I need to report this to Erina Sister...'

Lavi thought. The way he killed the Man is really bad.

'Shackles, Silence.'

Just like the way he did it to the Count and the other. He tied them down and silence their mouth. And they immediately wake up.

'He's a pit of malice... He's tortured people before. And I can see an ominous aura coming from him. Probably the spirit of the people he torture and kill is still with him'

Lavi smiled to the air.

"Don't worry. I will torture him like the way he torture you guys... So, Be peaceful at that realm."

Lavi stated. The Ominous aura started to fade away. But there's still some. They were waiting for the man to be tortured.

Lavi draw his Silver Annihilation and rely on his speed alone to cut the man. But not to pieces. Just enough to make him bleed. But he didn't cut his back. He make sure that his back is clean. And he left him to die by bleeding out.

While he was dying, Lavi write all the information about the Demon Lord Cult Mark. So that everyone who find the note, Will know why this is all happening.

And when they see a fake person with that sort of mark. To tell them where they are and Lavi and the others are going to take care of it.

After an hour, The man finally bleed out. He was pale and Lavi take his left hand off. He went out and go back to his inn with great mood.
