Chapter - 2

Luna P.O.V

I wake up when I heard my alarm goes off. I shut it up and try to get up to feel a burden on my chest. I rub my eyes sleepily and look down to see Ash sleeping on my chest and I chuckle at him. I pick him up and place him on the bed. I kissed him on his forehead then walk to my closet. I take my undergarments and uniform to get dressed for school and go to take a shower.

After getting ready I walk downstairs to see Lauren making my favorite chocolate pancakes and beacons for breakfast.

“Good morning Lauren,” I said kissing her on her cheek and take a seat at nearby stool.

“Good morning Sweetie, did you sleep well?” she asks flipping the pancakes.

“Yes I did sleep well, what about you?” I ask her.

“Me too, thanks for asking,” she said and smiled at me. Lauren was the best baby sitter in this world. She loves me like I am her little sister. She is like a big sister to me.

“Did you talk to your parents about ash?” she asks me while serving me breakfast.

“No,” I said while fidgeting with my fingers. You see my father hates the dog to his core. He is highly allergenic to dogs. I doubt that they will let me keep him with me. But I will fight tooth and nail for me.

“Then when are you going to tell them?” she asks taking a seat next to me.

“I will tell them after I come back from school,” I said eating my breakfast she just nodded at me.

“Good morning ash,” I said and patted his head. He yawned and wagged his tail making me giggle.

“Did you prepare the list you wanted to buy for Ash from a pet shop,” she asked.

“Yes, I have already prepared it yesterday before going to sleep and I also have the money to buy it, I will go to pet shop while returning from school, you don’t have to worry about anything,” I said smiling at her while cutting beacons into small pieces for him to eat.

“Alright then, see you late,” Lauren said kissing my forehead and walk out of there. I take the plate of small beacons and put it in front of ash for him to eat. I take my plate and wash it in the sink.

“I have to go to school would you like to come with me ash?” I ask him while patting his head. He yelps and wagged his tail.

”I take it as a yes, let’s go then.” I said and pick all the necessary things and walk out of the door with Ash. I locked the door and walk to school as it was close to the school. It’s only 10 minutes away from my home.

“Listen, pets are not allowed to enter inside the school. So you have to wait for me. Go and hide behind that tree and wait for me okay?” I ask while pointing my finger to the nearby tree which is close to the forest.

I walk inside the school and greeted my friends. I walk to my class with my friend while talking to them. Fortunately, I sit nearby the window so I was able to keep an eye on him, watching him chasing his tail or taking a nap. Soon the bell for lunch rang and we walk to the canteen.

I buy an apple, a piece of pizza, salad and a packet of biscuits for ash. I wait for my friends to grab their food and tell them to follow me.

“Where are we going?” the most curious person in our group and my best friend Chloe ask.

“You will found out soon, just follow me,” I told her and walk towards the tree where ash was.

“Ash, ash” I shouted his name when I didn’t found him there when I reached there.

 “Who is ash?” Linda asks me.

”There you are,” I said when I saw Ash running toward me. I pass my tray to Linda and goes to his level to pat him on his head.

“You have a dog? What is his name? Did your parents know about it? Did they agree to keep him with you? Where did you find him? Did you buy him from shelter or pet house?” the shower me with question startling ash in the process and he started growling at them.

“Guys, slow down a bit, I will tell you everything later,” I said while taking ash in my arms and hugging him to calm him down a little bit. I kept him down on the floor and take a packet of biscuits from my tray and feed it to him.

“Now are you going to answer our question?” Chloe asks and puffs out the air.

“I will, but first let's eat, I am starving,” I said and we all eat our lunch. As I was about to tell them about ash the bell ring and we all groan in annoyance. We bide my goodbye to ash and I promise them to tell them everything after school.
