As promised I tell everything to them when I meet them in the locker room when the school gets over.
"So you didn't tell them anything about ash?" Chloe asks and I nodded my head.
"Will you mind if we come to the pet shop with you," Linda asked.
“Sure why not,” I said to them and they jumped up and down in excitement.
We all walk to the pet shop. I try every belt and lash on ash and ask him which one does he likes and felt comfortable in and he chose a white belt. After that we purchase some shampoo and body wash for him. Then we go to a furniture shop and choose a bed for him, I give them my address to them to deliver it.
After that, we go to Mc donnas to eat something because we all were starving when we get over our shopping. We said our goodbye and goes to our house. I change in my comfortable clothes and go down to the living room. I look at a watch to see it was 7:15 pm so I decided to call my parents and talk to them about ash.
They pick up my call after the second ring.
Me - “Hello dad, how are you?”
Dad – “Hey, sweetie I am fine what about you,”
Me - “I am fine too,”
Mom - “How was your school? I hope you didn’t bother Lauren?”
Me - “Hey mom, I am doing fine and yes I didn’t bother Lauren,”
Dad - “Did you have your dinner?”
Me -“Yes, I have it, have you eaten your dinner?”
Mom - “We was just about to have it,”
Me - “Oh I hope I didn’t interrupt you guys,”
Dad - ”Not at all,”
Me -“Did you guys got that important deal, you guys worried about?”
Dad - “Yes, and it going to help us reach our company to a new height,”
Mom – How are your friends doing? And how are your studies going on?
Me-They is doing just fine and my studies also going well. I scored A+ in my math test.
Dad -“Now that’s my girl”
Me - “uhh.. mom dad I have to talk to you about something,” I said getting nervous.
“What is it?” they ask together.
“Don’t tell me you have made a boyfriend? Baby, you are too small for all those things,” my mom said to me.
“Mom, I don’t make a boyfriend and please stop embarrassing me. I know I am too small for all those things,” I said embarrassed.
“Then, what is it?” dad asks. Now come the time I am dreading the most.
“You see, yesterday while returning home i found an injured puppy whimpering at the entrance of the forest so I decided to take him home with me and keep it with me,” I said fidgeting with my fingers.
“You did what?” dad shouted at me.
“You know how much I hate dogs right?” Dad asks angrily.
“I know that dad but you and mom are always busy and away from home due to business matter and Lauren was busy in her job, I fell all alone here, it’s getting sufficing sometime you know,” I said at the edge of crying. Ash rubs his head at my leg and whimpered and I patted his head.
“But you have friends, why don’t you call your friend and invite them for a sleepover,” My mom asked me this time.
“I have a sleepover with them but they can’t stay with me every day with me, I know that you are allergenic to dad but I promise you he will not bother you when you were here please dad please, pretty please,” I said crying.
“Fine then, but did Lauren agree with this? “ Dad asks with a sigh.
“Yes, she said yes as long as you are agreed with this, you can call and ask her if you want,” I said smiling from ear to ear. We talk for some more time and then hang up on me.
“Yeah, boy, they agree to keep you here,” I shouted at him while shrilling around with ash in my arms. I put him down and call my friends to invite them to tomorrow's sleepover. It’s has been long since we have our girls pajama’s party together.
The next day after school we come back to my house. I have already informed Lauren about the sleepover so she has visited the store and buy some snacks for us. She also had prepared our favorite food for us. We change in our comfortable clothes and watch some movies with Lauren. After that, we played hide and seek and fall asleep while watching cartoons and other movies.
