Fintan was still asleep in our bed when I left for early morning training. Afraid I’d wake him up if I came back to the room, I skipped my shower and went straight to my office to make sure everything would be perfectly organized. Since the pack was so busy, I had to ask Zoe to take on part of my duties for the day so I could go out on a date with my mate for a few hours. I’d usually ask Milo to cover for me, but I didn’t have the heart to do it.
After I made sure the pack wouldn’t go down in flames during my absence, I went back to the room.
