Rain's pov
Asher and I were sitting next to each other on the wooden bench in front of the lake. It was our spot to spend quality time.
*Gulp
“Asher”
“Hmm?”
His eyes were looking at me with so much softness, that it became even difficult for me to utter those harsh words.
My palm clenched my dress tightly…
“It was me!”
His brow twitched with curiosity, whereas my heart was about to come out of my chest…the anxiety inside was getting worse with every pause.
