The masquerade party turned into a police investigation. The cops were questioning every single person at the party, even the Vinci brothers.
Asher said a sharp object cut his hand…Felix and Jeremy also said the same thing.
But I knew one of them was lying.
The one who killed Eliana must have got a scratch in his hand. To free himself from suspicion…he scratched his other two brother's hands, without them realizing.
A young cop walked over to me as I was quietly standing in the corner.
“You're Rain, right?” His brow twitched.
“Uhm…Yes!” My head nodded.
He was a new cop since I had never seen him before. Perhaps, Eliana’s murder was his first case.
