Rain's pov
Jeremy came to see me as he had something important to discuss. It was about Sylvia and the night before her mysterious death.
“You think she was cheating on you?”
I was quite taken aback.
*Sigh
“One of my friends saw her with a guy, coming out of a hotel room.” His eyes were serious, shrouded with pain.
Sylvia was a pure soul, she could have never betrayed someone she loved. Whenever she talked about Jeremy, her eyes perked up…it couldn't be.
“There has to be a misunderstanding!”
My lips mumbled.
“Your friend must have seen someone else, Sylvia loved you so much.”
“And if she had betrayed you, wouldn't your heart feel some kind of pain?”
Silence replenished in the air and he stepped closer…
“I never marked her, so it was impossible to feel such pain.”
