Rain's pov
Kristi and I were studying together in the library, yet a paper between her thick books caught my attention.
“A singing contest?”
Our school was holding that contest and Kristi was participating in it.
“Daniella wants me to sing.” Words came out of her mouth.
“That cheerleader?” My brow twitched.
She nodded her head.
“I didn't know she was bullying you. Her cousin is so much better.” My lips murmured.
“Who is her cousin?”
“Nadine, my classmate!”
Nadine and Daniella were cousins, but both of them were so much different from each other. Nadine was innocent, whereas Daniella was a bully.
“Where is Nadine?” Kristi inquired.
“She's on sick leave, but she'll be back before exams.” That's what her maid told me when I last called her number.
