Chapter 9 – Sparring Jerry walked down the narrow corridor towards the gym. He reached it and knocked on the door. “Come in.” Jerry opened it and entered. The exercise equipment had been removed, leaving the room bare. There was nothing in it except for a man. He looked to be in his late thirties, was an inch or two shorter than Jerry, and was lean as a rabbit. He apparently possessed the rare Agrarian balding trait, because his blond hair was just a stubbly fringe around the sides and back of his head. His brown skin was weathered and sun-darkened, resembling a raisin. His eyes were a lighter shade of green than usual for Agrarians, like the color of sea foam.
