What a f**k up!!! 6 years spend hunting that b***h down, only to lose her now… Can no body do a f*****g job right? The Deus in Terra (God on earth) to be is going to kill us. I'm leading on this side of the country, as his second in command… How the hell do I tell him we have lost years of work? Honestly, I was only expecting a simple council meeting, only to be dropped the bomb of all f*****g bombs that Connor f*****g Lee of all alphas, has not only found our prize but mated and marked her too! Like he has a right too. My master's son was to be mated to her; He is to be the god on earth! Not Connor Lee!

2 years it took to get the council seat only to have my plan ruined within a month of having it... I managed to keep my cool through the meeting, that arrogant pricks phone call, and get myself as one of the council men to meet her… I did not need Kyle Trenton of all people, to be telling him who was coming but I couldn't shut his mouth quickly enough... Now I have 24-36 hours to not only find a way to have their mate bond broken but I have to find a way to break it, to take a powerful witch, break the bond and have her mated to the master son all before her wolf finds her to take her back from us...

This is going to take a whole lot of balls and risk on my part, the last thing I need is to be caught or implicated in any of this before the time is necessary to come out from the shadows... The time now maybe our only chance to get her and break the bond before the bond is too strong to actually break… The only question is how? I need a witch, a plan, and resources! I will have to tell him, but I need a plan for that too. We arrive at my pack lands and Luke stands waiting for me. I get out the car to great him. I hate this bastard be he is essential to plans… But I know he secretly reports back to the master about me, it’s a mutually hateful relationship…

"Meeting room now!" I growl at him. He can see I am pissed off, so moves fast. Following behind me, we enter the meeting room and I grab a glass of whiskey before I take my seat. Pinching the bridge of my nose as I can feel the headache building, trying to gather my thoughts and think how to explain this… Luke needs to take some responsibility too, he f****d up a few plans over the years… Admittedly the last few mistakes wasn’t him but my men, still he should know and understand we still need each other to get the little witch.

"What's the problem Carl?" He asked, knowing we are in the meeting room, so no pretences need to be held up between us. Our true relationship to each other shows…

"Well, we found the witch but that is where the good news ends…" He smiles till I continue.

"But she was found by her true mate, who has mated and marked her before informing the council of her presence... I have worked on derrick for months pushing him to force Conner in to taking his brat of a granddaughter so his pack would be weaker and easier to take in the long run… Now he’s the one who has the witch and has mated her!" I say.

"WHAT! Father is going to be pissed and so am I, She was meant to be mine." He growls … standing up and slamming his fist on to the table. I thin crack now runs along the wood. Great! Something else that needs to be repaired in this f*****g dilapidated place!

"I know, I know! We just need a solid plan... I'm halfway there, look I managed to get on the trip to meet her at the Silver Cross pack... We just need a way to break the bond between her and her mate. Then we take her, break the bond and have you mate and mark her before they can take her back… It will be risky but it is all we are left with at the moment… I have a witch in this pack, mated to one of my wolves. We threaten his life, force her to break the bond. We just need the plan to take her to be solid and give us enough time… Once she is mated to you she will fight to stay with us herself... You can come with me as my 'son' as always, being groomed for pack leadership etc... We just need wolves to take her with. The witch will bind her first, we only need to bind her light powers as she cannot use her dark ones yet! Or she would have used them already when we have nearly caught her before... The blood we managed to collect got us the closest to capturing her and if that i***t hadn’t been f*****g around trying to f**k her sister we would have used Leah to make the witch come to us herself!" I ramble out coming up with the rest of the plan as I do.

"How many wolves do we have to use? The Silver Cross is a strong pack before he took over according to dad. From the rumour’s it's now stronger, do we have any idea on numbers? How powerful are their warriors?" He asks. Now calmer.

"No-one truly knows of the numbers but if we take at least 100 - 150 of our best that should work… We can get a true number when we arrive. I need you to cool your dad down after we tell him. You know we have done all we can and if my third in command wasn't so hell bent on trying to rape her sister, we would have already had her. Remind him without me, you won’t get in that meeting or find a true numbers to the wolves in that pack. He maybe my best friend but he does not except failure. If we don't act now the bond will be too strong to break." I half beg. We may go way back to our childhood but that won’t save my life if all this fails.

"I will this once after that you’re on your own facing him." With that he opens his phone and to ring his dad.

"Dad, we have a problem. Listen before you explode and command Carl's death... Connor found the witch and is her true mate ... Dad Listen.... He has mated and marked her before telling anyone he had even found her... We have a plan though, but we will need Carl for it to work... He has got himself on to the council trip to meet her and he is taking me as part of my 'training'... We have a witch here mated to one of his wolves, and we will take her, break the bond and I will force a mating and mark her before they have chance to track us down.... I know that's a lot to do in a little amount of time...But.... Listen, I will not get in on the meeting without Carl, so we can’t kill him… This will be our last chance, if we fail or wait, the bond will be too strong to break ... I Know.... This is our only option right now, okay? Yes ... I'll need your approval to command the warriors." He waits and listens... five minutes later, He closes the phone and blows out a shaky breath.

"Well... That went better than I expected to be honest... I have his approval and he is sending orders to the men to follow MY command, not yours so remember that. Said I spoke as a true Deus in Terra and handled this situation accordingly." He smirked. Guess I just got him brownie points with his father. He forgets that this is MY plan not his so he better remember that!

"Remember I just gave you that plan, once we are done with all this and she is all yours! You better thank me correctly and not forget that it was me that helped you get everything you want." I point out.

"Yes, I will don't worry… One of my heir's will take over this pack and be your son or daughter to raise. I guessing that is still your price for all this?" He smirks back and I nod. I call the witch through the link so we can get this show on the road, time is still ticking after all… I tell Luke that I have called the little witch so we need to get our game on.

"I've linked the witch, have one of your men take her mate when she gets here while I bring our little accomplice up to speed with our plan… As soon as she has hear me out she will try linking to warn her mate or try to use magic to protect him… She doesn’t realise that this room is warded against magic being used in here!" He nods and leaves just as Arianna arrives.

"Alpha Carl, you requested to see me?" She greets me all smiles… I know she doesn’t like me though and hates being here in this pack. This pack is not known for its tolerance with interspecies mating’s or of other super natural races in general. We believe in the superiority of werewolves… The only mixed mating we would accept is that of the centennial witch and that is only because of the power that little girl holds. I prefer to have access to that power on my side of things than to have her used against us.

"Yes, now don't interrupt me while I tell you all this. We have found the Centennial witch" Her face lights up and she goes to speak but I give her a stern look to shut her up before she can start and continue:

"I need you to bind her powers so she can be taken." I can tell she is going to refuse my request straight away just as I expected her to do.

"NO, I will not." Strong determination showing on her face. The followers of the centennial witch, know of her importance to not only their race but all races… She won’t want me having her leader or her power under may control and command… I smile wickedly at how I will make her cave soon…

"You will if you want Jake to live!" I say and her face falls and I see she is trying to link him and having no luck. I smile wider. Really should I put her out of her misery before she starts to try and use her magic? I suppose I should, it will cut the time down that she will waste for both her and I.

"Before you go to cast any spells, just know that you will find none of your magic will work here in this room... Don’t you remember the warding that I had you cast over this particular room? Or did you not realise which room you had been brought in to? How about we cut all this down to size and stop wasting any more time? … You WILL be doing this for me and your pack, especially if you want that mate of yours to survive the next few days Or long enough to meet that pup you are carrying! I realise that you had masked the pup with your magic so no-one will her or smell it but I realised as soon as you stepped through the door… After all you added that little extra bit to the spell when you was trying to impress me enough to allow you to stay here to be with your wolf!... So let’s get on with everything now that is all cleared up… The witch has been mated to another wolf by our Goddess, clearly she made a mistake there that we are going to have to correct, and he has marked her already before telling anyone he had found her or who she actually was! You will need to break that bond as you have for mated wolves whose mates have passed." I tell her firmly, I have seen her do this for myself and know that she is completely capable of this. In fact it was remembering seeing her do this that gave me this plan or even think that it was an option or possibility.

"Yes, but that was to save their lives... Not take their fated mate away from them, especially one that is still alive. They allowed the bond to break; she won’t allow it… The wolf who bond I break has to allow me to do it for it to work! I’ve never tried to break a mate bond between people that one aren’t willing and two still both very much alive… I don’t think you understand what you are actually expecting me to do! Never mind the consequences… Do you think the Goddess will let this happen? Plus this is the centennial witch we are talking about! She is far more powerful than I! She could easily kill all of us for this…" She shouts, panic clearly running through her body and I can smell her fear…

"Which is why she will be knocked out whilst you do it. Its simple bind her and break the bond in exchange for your mate’s life. Honestly, that's a fair exchange… She will be knocked out so won’t be able to fight against you… You were so eager to show me how powerful you was when you came here… Now you have that opportunity to prove yourself and save your mates life in the process, I think you should be thanking me for giving you this opportunity to be fair!" I allow her to think for a while and eventually she nods with a few tears running down her cheeks. I know I have won, while we hold her mate life hostage, she will do everything we want possibly more. This is one of the down sides of the mate bond but it’s a good position for me to exploit!

"Good, be packed in 6 hours, you will need to go with the men and get a good stake out position in order for this to work... It will also give you time to make all the preparation you will need, I would suggest you make an ample supply of what potions you will be needing… Your orders will follow after you get there. The trip is 12 hours as well so you better move your ass, would want to be leaving your mate with the guards for longer than necessary. You never know what stupidity your mate will use trying to free himself, I would hate for him to be accidently kill because you took longer than you actually needed." That will be half the time gone. We will have 12 -18 hours to be ready with the plan of attack and to put it all in to place. She leaves and I get down to all the planning and prep. Pulling maps of the area and surrounding territories. I am one of the few people that know where his pack is, although the information was difficult to get hold of, I got it successfully... However the price of actually getting the information was high... I lost eight wolves that day, put it helps me now and that’s the most important thing... I knew it would someday. I see a few advantage points we can use as long as they aren't on his pack lands. It's unnerving how many decisions that will have to be made on the fly, but this is our only way now. I can only hope and pray nothing too drastic will go wrong...
