Nova “Nova, is it really you?” The man named Axel says. I stare at him. I know him. I know I know him. His name keeps echoing in my head. Axel. Axel. Axel. Then, like a flash flood, a lost lifetime of memories explodes in my head. I look at my brother, my twin brother, as tears pour out of my eyes. “Axel,” I cry out. “It’s you.” I stand up and hobble towards him. “Nova,” Caspar grabs for me, but I ignore him. My attention is entirely on Axel as I fall into his arms and sob. “Axel,” I cry. “Nova,” Axel says with a choked sob. “Where the hell have you been?” He asks. I look him in the eyes. He has brown eyes like our mother. Mother. I remember my mother. I touch his cheek, hoping he isn’t an apparition. “I’m here, Nova,” Axel whispers. “Mom and Dad are going to be so happy to see you.
