Nova Bowie was kidnapped at sixteen by a wizard trying to harness the power of her wolf. Now five years later she is lying in a hospital bed with no memories of her life. All she knows is her name. A voice echoes in her head that gets louder when he is near her. The silver eyed man comes in to spend time with her and the voice calls to him. He says that she is a werewolf and so is he and she is his mate. Nova doesn’t really believe it but she knows that she feels something for him.

Caspar Silverstar just became the Alpha of Silver Star Springs Pack. It’s a medium sized pack that runs several lucrative businesses. Caspar has it all except for his fated mate. Caspar is a bit of a playboy and sleeps around despite his wolf's desperation to have their fated mate. Caspar is on the verge of choosing a mate when one day he is alerted that an injured woman is found in the woods. When he goes to visit her he discovers she is his fated mate despite not knowing what she is. Caspar is hesitant to accept the woman until her inner wolf begins to awaken and he finds out she is no mere wolf and there is so much more to the story.

As Nova gains strength and memories she will discover her true identity and may even find her family but there are also those after her and her special wolf. Will Caspar be able to protect Nova or will her enemies take everything from her once again?

Prologue: In the Beginning
Five Years Ago “I’m so excited,” I say to my little canary, Peach. “I get to see my parents and brothers today,” I announce as I dance around my small room. I bump into my bed and yelp. “Nova,” Grammy calls and knocks on the door. She pokes her head in, “Are you almost ready to go?” I nod, “Yes, Grammy. I finally get to stay with Mom and Dad.” I clap. I have spent my whole life in this village deep in the woods with Grammy and her friends. I have a special wolf, and she needs to be protected. I turned sixteen today, so I will finally be shifting. Grammy says after that, we will know what kind of power my wolf has, and then I can be trained how to use it. My wolf Leto is a Blythe wolf. She has witch DNA but isn’t a witch. She has special powers that others want for themselves, so that is why I live here with the Silver Night Coven and not with my family. Grammy’s wife Frieda suspects Leto may have earth powers as I have caused the house to shake. Frieda pokes her head into the room. She is a thin woman with reddish brown dreadlocks on her hair and bright green eyes. “Any signs of shifting yet?” I shake my head, “Leto has been quiet today,” I mention. Grammy steps toward me and places a hand on my forehead, “She is resting. She has a big day today.” We are going to the clearing to meet up with my family. My parents want my twin brother and me to shift together. “Hurry up and finish getting ready,” Grammy demands. “We are leaving in half an hour or so. You know how your mother gets when we are late.” I chuckle, “I know.” I sigh as I miss my mother. I have had very little time with her during my life. She always seemed sad during our visits. Grammy says it because she had to give me up when I was only a few days old. I pick up one of the framed pictures of her. “You look just like her,” Grammy remarks. I have my mother’s wavy dark brown hair, but I have my father’s green eyes. I set the frame down and picked up my bag. I put a couple of gifts I made for my brothers into it. “I bet Finn will love this necklace I made,” I say as I drop it into the bag. It’s made with a squirrel skull I found in the woods. My younger brother loves skulls and stuff like that. “Grammy, I’m ready,” I shout as I pick up my bag and sling it over my shoulder. There is no answer from Grammy as I walk out of my room. We live in a small cabin with two rooms. Frieda and Grammy’s room is across from mine. “Grammy?” I peek into their room. ‘Danger,’ Leto whispers, and I sniff the air. There is some acrid stench, and I hurry down the stairs. The living room is empty, “Grammy?” I call out. A hand clamps over my mouth, and I yelp. “Shh,” Frieda hisses in my ear. “What’s going on?” I ask as I smell smoke and the hairs on the back of my neck bristle. “We are under attack,” Frieda whispers. “Attack?” I whimper. Frieda pulls me towards the kitchen, “We have to hide you.” “What about Grammy?” I ask. “She is helping Lucille and the others,” Frieda responds. She drags me into the kitchen and opens the pantry door. She tosses things out of the pantry and opens a door on the floor. “Go down there and only come out when I come for you,” she orders me. “I have to go find Abby and the others.” Tears well up in my eyes, “Is everything okay?” Frieda points to the door, “Go!” I sniffle and climb down into the cellar. It smells like mold and potatoes. The door slams above me, and I sit on the cold hard floor. I hug my knees to my chest. “Where is she?” I hear a male voice bellow in the house. There are sounds of a struggle, and then I hear Frieda scream and go silent. “Search the house,” The male voice orders, and I listen as boots thump against the floor. I shrink against the bags of potatoes and pray that everything will be okay. I sit there for what feels like forever, listening to the men tear apart the house. “She isn’t here,” I hear someone say. “Don’t f*****g tell me that,” The leader bellows. “Lord Abraxas will have our heads if we don’t find her.” “We tore the house apart, Frog,” The other male argues. “f**k,” The one I assume to be Frog curses. “Let’s go then,” He grumbles. I sit for several minutes with my heart pounding against my chest. I finally get the courage to leave the cellar and slam against the door. It eventually opens, and I run up the steps. I smell death and look around. “Frieda?” I call and start searching. I trip over something and scream when I see it's Frieda. There is a gaping wound in her chest, and her heart lies beside her in a pool of blood. Her eyes are wide open, and her mouth is agape in a scream. “Frieda,” I cry out and touch her cold cheek. I stand up and look around our little house, now in disarray. I hear noises from outside, and curiosity gets the best of me, so I step outside. Smoke hangs in the air of our little village. Some of the other houses are smoldering wreckages, and I see the bodies of people I have known my whole life lying in the street. I see the body of Lucille Greengrass, the high priestess of Silver Knight. I kneel beside her to see if she is breathing. “She’s dead,” A familiar voice says above me, and I look up at Lucille’s daughter Pandora. “They are all dead,” Pandora spats. “Because of you,” She sneers. I stand up and look around, “Where is Grammy?” “Dead,” Pandora growls. “We never should have allowed you here.” I stare at the one I once called my friend as she looks at me with utter hatred. “I’m sorry.” Pandora gasps as a sword penetrates her chest, and she is tossed away. A large man stands in front of me with a crooked grin. He has long, dirty hair and is wearing tattered clothes. His scent is something I cannot recognize. “There you are, lass,” He laughs. I recognize him from the man in the house. “Where were you hiding?” “f**k you,” I try to sound harsh. I am about to run when someone grabs me from behind. I struggle to get out of the grip as Frog turns into a giant Komodo dragon. His forked tongue protrudes from his mouth, and it touches my hand. I laugh and feel my body go numb, and my eyes close. I wake up later, lying on a dirty bed in a dank room. The door opens, and a man with a big round belly and grey hair on his balding head. He is wearing a cloak. I shrink away as the man steps toward me. “I finally have you,” He grins and leans toward me. “Nova Bowie, the last Blythe wolf is mine.” “Who are you?” I ask. “My name is Bram Abraxas,” He mentions. “Our families go way back.” “What do you want with me?” I ask hesitantly. “You will see, dear, you will see,” Bram grins. “Where is Grammy?” I ask. “Dead,” He laughs. I shudder and hug my knees tighter. “And my parents?” “I’m sure my letter has reached them by now,” He mentions. “You belong to me and only me for now on. You will never see your family again.”
