"What's with you being serious these days?" rowen asked.

"Haha... You don't know? Kiara rejected him." kai said.

"what?" rowen said while laughing.

"f**k off!" I hissed at them sipping my drink.

"You are laughing on him, then what about you kai? Heard that angel is meeting someone." kenric stated.

Kai's smile faded off and he stood up. "What? With who?"

"I don't know I just heard angel telling Aubree that she is having a date tonight."

"Rowen ask Aubree about angel. She will only tell you." kai said.

"Lol man, you think Aubree will be telling me? They have a strong bond between them. She won't be saying a thing about their dates and all." rowen replied shrugging his shoulders.

We all are having boy time in our studio. This studio belongs to Lorenzo and Devin. They used to hang out here when they were in high school and now it belongs to us.

Elwen was cooking lunch for us. While we boys are watching xaiden's match. We all decided to go but we couldn't because of the bad weather here in New York.

Dad and mom are in California for xaiden's match. Kiara's brother Ishaan is here. I saw her face when she met her brother. They do have a close connection, I met him. He is a good guy just like xaiden.

He met everyone and they immediately became close to him. The fact that he is like us made it easy for us to mingle up soon.

I took a sip of my beer before turning towards kai who is rushing towards the door. It is clear that he is going to find angel and her date.

Kiara is with her brother, they went to the wedding from what I know. She looked damn beautiful in that Saree.

I know I love her, I always wondered seeing the connection between my mom and dad. They both were from two different worlds, countries, culture and they have different mindsets. But they fell in love even though they hated each other. Not really I guess

I had my share of experiences with girls but nothing serious. I stayed away because I don't want to have flings and one night stands.

I wanted to have a serious girlfriend and be in a serious relationship. I never found one and when I saw a broken Ryder, the thought of having a girlfriend never crossed my mind until I saw her.

The time I spent with her was blissful. I loved every minute with her, I felt the connection between us.

I confessed my feelings that night but when I saw her standing there with a rejection made me feel the pain for the first time.

I never felt the pain of rejection, it hurt and I couldn't do anything about it. I told her I need time and she simply walked away. I mean it's not her fault actually. Everyone needs some time to understand and I respect that.

I wanted to give her space and time to think. At the same time, I needed too.

I ignored her, not because she rejected me. I want to give her some time until she knows and decides her answer.

I was searching for an architect to design my headquarters here. And Florence is one of the best architects, her work is good.

I had a meeting with her and I told her not to be touchy and all. She was professional though when she spoke about work.

She wanted to join me for dinner and I couldn't deny it. I invited her to home, I know Kiara didn't like Florence and when Florence spoke or said something to me I know Kiara felt something and for a fact I enjoyed it.

If she didn't like Florence sitting beside me that means she feels something about me right?

I saw her slowly sneaking towards the dance room. I excused myself from Florence and went to the dance room.

I saw her dance for the first time. And I pray to watch her dance forever. I don't know when she is going to talk to me. I miss our talks and movie nights.

We used to get time to talk at nights and now I kinda feel lonely at nights.

"Yoah! Our man won!" Kenric yelled in excitement.

I smiled before I lifted my bottle. "Toast to our bro!"

"Wanna stay here or go out?" Elwen asked.

"I want to go for a long ride." kreo said.

"I am in, what about you both?" kenric asked me and rowen.

"I can't, I need to wake up early in the morning." rowen said.

"What about you then?" elwen asked me.

"I am tired."

They nodded their heads before kreo said "I guess it's us three."

Rowen went home while elwen, Kenric and kreo went for a drive. I closed the door before drive myself home.

I checked on xahria and she already slept hugging her favourite soft toy. I smiled before walking off to my room. Kiara didn't yet return. I waited for her.

"Are you going somewhere?" Florence asked me while I put my worksheets in the file.

"Yeah, we are having a BBQ at McKenzie's mansion."

"Nico?"

"Yes?"

"Can I join you guys, I don't have anything to do here or any friend to hang out."

"Sure." it's not that I don't like her. She is a good person but the thing is she likes me from our middle school. I even told her that I don't feel back the same way as she does.

I got in my car while Florence got in hers. She knows the location. I reached the place and waited for Florence to come.

We had a good distance between us. I saw Kiara talking with ezarah. My gaze didn't shift as it only fixed on her.

When she turned to see her, the smile she had while talking to ezarah washed away. A frown set on her face when she saw Florence. Florence didn't see her though. I tried my best not to smile. I wanna see how jealous she can be.

But that small thought went away and it's my turn to frown now when she said Greg is going to join us.

"Why are you frowning?" Florence asked.

"I am not."

"Indeed." kreo smirked while saying that. Florence looked confused until she saw Greg sitting beside Kiara. She must've understood because she had a sad smile.

"I will be going now." Florence said standing up.

I walked her out when she turned around to ask: "Nico do you like Kiara?"

"Florence I already told you that I never felt feelings for you. You are a good friend to me and I love Kiara but sad thing is she doesn't love me back." I said. She laughed lightly.
