Kiara POV

I hum to lyrics, pulling the shorts and tee from my wardrobe. Nico and I decided to go out for a drive. We would be going on a lunch date as well.

I dressed up in shorts and put on a simple black t-shirt before pulling the sneakers out. There was a knock on the door before Nico entered the room, closing the door behind him.

"Aye... My babe looks cuteeee." I chuckled, shaking my head. I stand before the mirror and pick up the comb.

"What are you doing here? I thought you would be waiting for you in the living room," I said while he stood behind me.

"Nah, how can I miss watching you get ready. You look cute while you get ready for our little dates," he said, checking me out from behind.

"And I love watching this a*s of yours," he whispered, placing his hand on my a*s.

"Haha... What have you decided? Are you planning to join me in India or are you staying over here?" I asked him.

"Not sure, Ryder has been saying that Rowen and I should be in London for a meeting. He was serious about the meeting. I will have a conversation with Rowen and see if I can do anything."

"Hmm, I really don't want to go home alone. I would be so happy if you came with me," I said, combing my hair.

"I know, you don't worry. I will talk with them and make a decision."

"But why are you wearing shorts? I thought you were wearing that red floral dress that you got last time we went shopping," he said.

"Yeah... I thought of wearing it but it would be windy. Shorts are more comfortable, I will wear the dress for different occasions," I said.

"Okay, this looks good too."

" Two minutes and I will be done."

"Take your time." I smiled, applying the eye liner and then applying the lipstick. I look at Nico who is playing on his phone. My phone starts pinging, I look at the screen to see messages from Aubree and Xahria in the group.

"Hahaha... Aubree got pranked by Elwen and Xaiden. She is angry and Xahria was with her, who also got pranked by the two," Nico said.

"It's a war now, they messed with Xahria who didn't do anything," I say.

"Yeah..."

I finished getting ready by putting on my sneakers and picking up my bag. "Let's go."

"Not before giving me a kiss," he said, pulling me closer to him.

I yelped in surprise and held on to his arms. "I want to kiss my girl properly..."

I smiled before leaning up to kiss his lips. I wrap my arms around his neck as I kiss him. We kiss deeply with Nico's arms wrapped around my waist. He pulled me closer so that our bodies were touching each other's.

We pulled away, I smiled at him and he smiled back before kissing my lips. "I love you," he whispered against my lips.

"I love you..."

We stood in each other's arms for some time before stepping out. Nico drove the car while I looked out of the window enjoying the peace.

"It feels good to be out with you. We have been so busy that we forgot to go out," I said.

"Yes, I apologize, but I will make sure that I will be there on weekends."

"Hmm, just be there when I want you. I understand your work and it's hard to be present all the time. But please be there when I miss you." I smiled at him, holding his hand that he placed on my lap.

"I promise..."

"And I will always be there for you when you need me. Don't hide anything from me. Tell me if you are tired and stressed because of the work."

"I want to know everything about you. Not only the times when you are feeling good. Please, just tell me if you are tired. I don't want to do things when you are tired."

"I know babe, I don't have to hide anything from you. I would be telling you if I'm tired or stressed, but remember the same goes to you. Tell me if you are not feeling good or tired or stressed. Do not take things to heart that happen in the office."

"Okay, I have you beside me. I would always run to you if I'm in trouble or feel tired. You hold me in your arms," I said, and he looked at me before looking ahead.

"Always..." I smiled, leaning back in my seat.

We decided to take time before we got married. We both decided to concentrate on our projects and dreams. We don't want to hurry things and marry in a hurry. And it takes a lot of time to plan a wedding. We don't have enough time to plan our wedding. Though the elders told us that they would help us, but we decided to take some time.

"Want to grab something before we go there?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm a bit hungry. Let's make a stop before we go there."

"Okay."
