Kiara POV

I pushed my hair back and looked at Aubree, who was fighting with Kenric over something. "Are you done with your work?" Kreo asked.

I turned my head and looked at him. "Almost done with the work, but there is some work pending that has to be done by this weekend."

"Is it true that you are going to India next month?"

"Yeah, I will be going home for two weeks. Dad has some issues over there in the factory and he wants me to be there for the board meeting. And I also have to make the documents legalized and it needs my signature," I said and he nodded his head.

"Is Nico joining you?"

"Not yet decided, it would be good if he joined me, but I don't know if he will be able to come with me or not," I said.

"Shut your mouth, Kenric... I didn't ask you to join me now. Don't b***h about it," Aubree said.

"I'm not bitching about it, girl. But what you did was so wrong..."

"What did I do? I just poured colour and Kai only saw you. It's not my mistake that you didn't hide and got caught," Aubree said.

"Guys, stop fighting and go get our drinks. How long are we gonna wait here?" Kreo called out.

"They aren't done with their fight yet? I'm hungry," Xahria said.

"Don't talk to me," Aubree said, walking away.

"Go with her," Kreo told Xahria.

"Yup, what guys want to drink?" Xahria asked.

"Peace mojito," I say.

"Blue lagoon for me and also order tacos," Kreo said.

"Okay, anything for you. Fries or tacos?" Xahria asked me.

"Nah, I'm good."

"Okay."

Xahria went towards where Aubree went. We went out to watch the sunset and decided to hang out in the parking space. I leaned back, crossing my arms as we waited for others.

"Cool down, bro. You know Aubree, it was your mistake that you joined her prank," Kreo said as Kenric wandered towards us.

"I didn't know that she was going to prank me as well. I just wanted to see Kai getting pranked. Huh, I will ask Xaiden and Elwen to prank her," Kenric said, and I chuckled.

"I'm in if they are gonna prank on her," Kreo said.

"Don't say a word that we gonna prank her," Kenric said, looking at me.

"Okay."

"Where is Ezarah? Why didn't she join us?" Kreo asked.

"She is having her exams right now, I guess. I don't know but she was doing something," Kenric said, standing beside Kreo.

"Exams? What exams does she have now?" Kreo asked.

"Her music institute is keeping some exams and she is writing those exams."

"Oh."

My phone pinged as I received new messages. I pull my phone from my jeans pocket to read the texts. A smile wraps on my face when I was looking at Nico's name.

'Wassup? Where are you?' I read the text.

'Nothing, came out with Aubree, Kreo, Xahria and Kenric to watch the sunset. Now I'm waiting for our drinks.' I typed the text and hit the send button.

'Maybe we should go to New Jersey one day to play football," Kenric said.

"Yeah, call the boys and we will go to our usual grounds," Kreo said. They started talking about their football and boys while I waited for Nico's text.

'Good... I try to be back before dinner. Things are a bit messy over here and it is taking time as I have to go through all the documents.'

'I will be waiting for you, let's have dinner together and I will choose a movie.'

'Are we going to watch a movie? I thought you would be choosing a new series.'

'Nah... I want to watch a Bollywood movie this time. Later on, we can decide on a new series.'

" Are you guys watching any new series?" I asked Kreo and Kenric.

"I'm watching the big bang theory," Kenric said.

"That is not new."

"But I started watching it so it's new to me."

"I'm watching the office," Kreo said.

"And I started watching Riverdale," Xahria said. I turned around to see her and Aubree holding out drinks.

"Thank you," I said to Aubree, and took my drink from her. Xahria handed Kreo his drink and tacos.

"Thanks." Aubree stands beside me while I sip my drink.

"Kreo, pass one taco," I asked him.

"Here."

I took one taco from him and had a bite of it. "Why didn't you bring my fries?" Kenric asked Xahria.

"You asked for fries?" Xahria asked.

"Yes, I did."

"I don't know, I haven't heard. Sorry mate, go and get them. We will be here for an hour before leaving."

"Nah... It's fine..."

"You guys got any plans?" Xahria asked Kreo and Kenric.

"I'm going out with my friends for dinner," Kreo said.

"No plans, stay home and watch something on Netflix," Kenric said.

"What about you?" Xahria asked Aubree.

"I'm going out with Rowen."

"Do you have any plans, Kiara?" Aubree asked me.

"No plans, stay home and have dinner with Nico. We are planning to watch a movie together," I said, and they nodded their heads.

"Cool, I will call any of my mates and go out with them then," Xahria said.

We stayed behind for an hour before leaving for home. Xahria went out with her friends while I worked on my present projects until Nico returned home.
