DRAVEN'S POV. Today marked the sixth day since I'd been afflicted with this poison from the pit hell. If I thought I was in pain before, now it was pure agony. There was nothing I could do to stop it as it tore at me, shredding my body from the inside out. Every beat of my heart felt like a countdown to the inevitable, my end. My breath rasped in my throat as I leaned against the shower wall, cold water cascading over me. It didn’t help. Nothing did. Five showers today and counting.
