Amara shivered as he leant close and heard those words come out of his mouth. "Because you're my mate Amara" he whispered "and I'm never letting you go now that I have you" he growled and she stared at him in disbelief.
"Damien" she protested weakly "we don't even know each other" she said thickly "you can't just say we are mates and expect me to jump with joy" she said very softly and his eyes turned even darker at her words, Amara clamming up instantly as she saw it happen.
