Wyatt POV
Misty was smart. Although, seeing her projection like that, a shimmering image of herself, and her body lying on the ground terrified me. It was a dangerous spell she had cast, but she was correct about having full control. My current fear was heightened by the drug coursing through my system, its effects distorting my senses.
Misty's hands moved against my skin gently as I lay in the bed, my whole body wracked with agony. "This isn't good, hold on for me," she said urgently before rushing out of the room. I must have lost consciousness, for it felt like she was gone only for a split second before her hands were back, rubbing a healing balm on me. She chanted an incantation, and whatever spell she used, the pain vanished fast, replaced by a tingling sensation coursing through my body.
However, the drug still raged in my system, and I reached out for her. "I can't lose you," I mumbled, my voice barely audible. She brushed her hand against my face, her touch bringing comfort. "So, your greatest fear is losing me," she whispered softly. "I won't allow that fear to come true, Wyatt."
She placed something against my lips, and I could taste a hint of sweetness. "Your fast," I commented, my mind hazy but aware. Her hand brushed against my face again as she chanted another incantation. It felt like something was hammering in my head, but I focused on her gaze, finding solace in her presence. "I'm sorry I'm trying, but this may be painful," she apologized, her voice filled with concern.
Pain ripped through my body, and I squeezed my eyes shut, seeking refuge from the torment. Her touch became my lifeline, grounding me in the midst of the chaos. Finally, she finished the incantation, and a wave of relief washed over me. "You should be okay now, I'll leave you to rest," she said, her voice soothing.
But I couldn't let her go without answering my question. I grabbed her arm, my grip firm yet gentle. "I need you to answer me. If it's not for your safety, would you still choose to remain here? I know I've asked you to stay for your protection, but..." I trailed off, hoping she understood the depth of my concern.
"I would stay here no matter what as long as you are here," she whispered, her voice soft and comforting. She crawled back into the bed with me.
"I've been used my whole life," she confessed, her voice tinged with vulnerability. "In a way, I feel like a fool for not realizing just how bad it was." She paused, her fingers absentmindedly tracing patterns on the sheets. "But you, you've shown me that I'm not worthless or just some source for others to use."
While we sat together on the bed, she began to share the details of what she had learned while I was gone. The truth she had uncovered ignited a furious fire within me. How could they do that to her? And yet, I couldn't deny that our kind was just as power hungry as the others.
"I'll help you find a way to reverse it," I promised her. "If the mark and power were stolen and not gifted to you, they should not be tapped into. You're making the right choice."
A small smile graced her lips as she locked eyes with me. "I know we will find a way," she said, her voice filled with hope. "I'm lucky we found each other. I'm lucky you fought for me and continue to do so."
A sense of reassurance washed over me. "I will always do my best to keep you safe," I vowed. "And tonight, you've proven that you'll do the same for me."
"I don't think you understand how madly I'm in love with you already, Misty," I said.
"I think I do," she replied softly, her voice filled with understanding. "I can tell you are someone who doesn't love easily. Your rough exterior hides a vulnerability that you have never shown directly to me. You have risked yourself and your reputation for me, and you have done everything in your power to keep me safe."
As she traced her fingers gently on my skin, avoiding the areas where I was hurt, she continued, "I love you too, Wyatt. I never knew our kind was capable of feeling such emotions, but you, Wyatt, are my destiny. I want to fulfill our purpose together. After what I learned yesterday, I realized that you have been the only one truthful with me. So, I will stand by and protect the cursed child, or protect my kind from them, as I trust in what you say. If one is meant to restore balance, we must wait for them."
"I am grateful for your trust, Misty. But I want you to see firsthand as well. I am someone who values evidence, and it is clear that you do too." I responded. As she moved her hand up and traced my lips with her fingers, I teased her, "Keep doing what you're doing, and I may not be able to resist having all of you."
"You're hurt, you need time to heal. I don't want you to cause yourself more harm." She responded.
"No, Misty. Loving you intimately will never cause me harm. If anything, it will only make me feel better." I assured her. As she pressed her lips against mine, it was evident that she wanted me just as badly, driving me even crazier for her. I pulled her closer, breaking the kiss, and smirked before snapping my fingers, using my little spell to undress her.
"Two can play at that game," she said, returning the favor and undressing me. Her hands moved across my body, exploring more of me this time. Each touch sent a surge of anticipation through me, making my heart beat faster. I muttered another incantation, causing some of the candles in the room to illuminate. Pressing my lips against her delicate skin, I trailed kisses over her body, savoring the moment.
I stopped at her chest, marveling at its absolute perfection. Her skin was soft, like velvet to the touch. As I leaned in to kiss her, I could taste the sweetness of her lips, teasing her with the gentle flick of my tongue. The way she responded to my touch, the soft moans escaping her lips, fueled my desire to continue. I traced my lips down her body, savoring the anticipation in the air.
"Wyatt," she breathed out, a sound that ignited memories of her pleasure from our first time. The desire to bring her to new levels of ecstasy consumed me, knowing that her pleasure would bring me immeasurable joy.
I trailed my tongue against her most intimate spot, causing her to cry out my name, her voice filled with desire. "Wyatt, I can't handle much more," she pleaded. Her breath hitched as I teasingly moved up her body, my lips brushing against her skin. "I plan on making love to you for hours this time, Misty," I whispered into her ear.
As my lips met hers once again, I gently pushed two of my fingers inside her, eliciting a gasp as her body arched towards me. "Just touching you like this ignites a flame of hunger I've never experienced before," I confessed, my lips seeking hers again. She was like a dream come true, someone special I had always longed for. I never wanted a partner out of duty, and now I had Misty, the one I wished to spend an eternity with.
Her lips moved against mine as I nipped on her lip, savoring the taste of her. I sucked it into my mouth, treasuring the moment. After a while, I turned her on the bed, supporting her body against mine with one hand. With careful precision, I positioned myself and gently thrust into her wet entrance. A cry of pleasure escaped her lips, urging me to go deeper. I made sure not to hurt her as I moved, finding a rhythm that pleased us both.
"Harder," she moaned, a smirk forming on my face. "You drive me crazy, Misty," I groaned, granting her wish and increasing the intensity of my movements. Our bodies moved together in perfect harmony, the sound of our passion mingling with her moans, creating a symphony of pleasure. I trailed my hand against her, adding to her pleasure, as I continued to make love to her.
"Wyatt," she gasped, overwhelmed by the added stimulation. I picked up my pace, thrusting even harder, losing myself in the moment. Finally, I released my essence deep within her, a wave of ecstasy washing over us. I gently turned her around, pulling her to the edge of the bed. A hint of excitement gleamed in her eyes as I rubbed my tip against her entrance. "I'm far from done, Misty," I promised, ready to continue our passionate journey.
In a frenzy of passion, I unleashed my primal instincts upon her. In that moment, I felt untamed, like a wild animal.
Our entangled forms danced on the edge of ecstasy, a tempestuous storm of desire. With each forceful thrust, I felt her surrender to the intoxicating power of our connection.
Her moans echoed through the room, igniting a fire within me that burned hotter with every touch. I was a predator, hungry for her essence, consumed by the primal hunger that only she could satiate. Time ceased to exist as we existed solely in this carnal realm, lost in a vortex of unbridled passion.
I was a warlock, casting spells of pleasure with body upon her, leaving her breathless and craving more.
She was incredibly beautiful, and the fact that she was mine left me in awe. Her hands gripped the bed sheets as I bent her legs, allowing me to thrust deep and hit the spots that elicited her passionate cries, filling the room. I don’t think I will ever tire of her; my desire for her will always remain strong.
As we continued, our bodies became a labyrinth of sensations, exploring every inch of each other without ever tiring. Hours slipped away, and our desire for more only grew stronger. When the calm finally embraced us, the room filled with the gentle warmth of the new day. My fingertips continued to caress her delicate skin, reluctant to release this euphoric feeling. Exhausted, Misty nestled against my body, finding solace in our connection as she drifted off to sleep. Despite the weight of our impending responsibilities, we knew we needed this time for our sanity, to nurture the blooming relationship between us. Challenges awaited, but I remained confident that we would conquer them. Alone, we were already strong, but together, we became an unstoppable force. With a contented heart, I closed my eyes, allowing sleep to claim me, grateful to have her nestled in my embrace.
_________
I woke up to a dimly lit room, the sun having slipped away unnoticed. However, I didn't mind. The enticing aroma of something delectable filled the air, coaxing me to sit up in the empty bed. As I did, my stomach grumbled in anticipation, and a smile graced my face. It appeared that Misty had prepared a meal for us, a gesture that I would need to become accustomed to since I was used to doing everything for myself.
After getting dressed, I ventured out of my room and into the kitchen. Misty was humming, swaying to an invisible rhythm as she skillfully prepared the food. I almost hesitated to announce my presence, wanting to observe her a little longer. However, she suddenly turned and noticed me, immediately coming over and lifting my shirt to inspect my healing injuries. I marveled at how quickly I had recovered.
"You are truly a master at healing balms," I admitted to her.
"I made plenty for my coven," she confessed.
"I am fortunate to have you," I expressed my gratitude as she returned to the counter. "I hope you don't mind, but I thought we could eat and discuss our plans moving forward."
"That sounds good, and the food smells incredible," I responded as she plated up a dish of shepherd's pie, unknowingly preparing one of my favorite meals. Together, we carried the plates to the table.
"Would you like some wine or something stronger?" I offered.
"Wine," she replied. I opened a cabinet and retrieved a bottle, explaining how I had acquired it by helping a village plagued by vampires. The village was being exploited by a vampire lord and his minions, using it as an all-you-can-drink buffet. In gratitude for my assistance in erecting barriers and magical traps, the villagers had gifted me with several bottles of their finest wine.
"I'm sure you'll find it to be the best wine you've ever tasted," I assured her.
"I have no doubt," she said. I uncorked the bottle and poured two glasses before we both sat down to eat and discuss our plans. The first bite of food melted in my mouth, perfectly complemented by the wine.
"Well, I thought my cooking might convince you to stay, but you are undoubtedly a better cook," I complimented Misty.
"Thank you," she replied, and I took another bite, knowing that we needed to shift our focus to more pressing matters.
“I believe it is wise that I focus on finding ways to remove the mark and reverse the powers from you per your wishes," I said, the flickering candlelight casting shadows on the walls. "I will admit I have no clue how to do so, but my grandmother may. I would like us to travel to her home. I just need to make sure our path is clear, that is a good starting point. And I can assure you that she is not someone who would want to use that power. She will agree with your choice.”
"I have to say, Endora was the last witch I ever wanted to meet, but now I am actually interested in meeting her," Misty admitted.
"For now, I don’t think the cursed child is actually at risk with your coven because they seem to be working with the werewolf king," I continued. "Although the moment they get what they want or realize they have failed, I do believe they will continue on with destroying the curse. And not for restoring balance, it's because they fear what the future cursed child may create. I believe they know that the cursed child may restore the balance and not just that, but be stronger or stand beside someone that stands stronger than the immortal witches."
"For now, our focus is stopping your coven from getting you and using you, as well as others that want you," I said to her. "Because it is clear many know about the mark you have. I am sure it was meant to stay a secret, but someone is always willing to release one for the right payment." She nodded her head.
"Misty, are you comfortable fighting against your own family?" I questioned her.
"Other than being birthed into that coven, none of them have ever truly been family to me," she admitted, her voice tinged with a hint of bitterness.
"I need to learn as much information about your coven as you can share, so that we can understand the best way to go against them," I said to her, leaning in closer.
"I will tell you everything," she promised. "I want to stand up to them for all they have done."
I was relieved that she wanted to assert herself, to take a stand. I would support her every step of the way, but I also knew that she needed to take the lead when it came to her coven. They had wronged her, and she had the right to show them just how badly they had messed up.
"A lot of bad has come from your coven, but one thing really good did come from them, and that is you, Misty," I said. "Your coven was once a strong, prideful bloodline. By standing up to the ones that tarnished it, you will be cleansing your bloodline and carrying it on the way it should be. And with us together, we are now combining the two strongest bloodlines. A union that has never happened before. I believe you and I will be the ones to keep our world safe," I said, a gentle smile tugging at the corners of my lips.
Her face lit up with a radiant smile, the candlelight dancing in her eyes as we took a break from our intense discussions and savored the simple pleasure of enjoying a meal together.
