Chapter Five- New House, New Rules

1462 Words
I had to leave Karla as we departed with the men who bought us. I sat in Kain’s car, my face turned to where I could only look outside the window. The car ride to Kain’s place was quiet. I just sat back and enjoyed the whole view of Las Vegas, Nevada. The city lights were so amazing and it brightened my whole mood. I was still nervous to be with this dude since there was no telling what he would do to me. I turned my head and looked at him before I looked somewhere else.             “I’m going to drop you off at the house.” He finally spoke. “I have somewhere to be.”             I nodded my head, but that was not enough for him.             “I know you heard me.” He said. “Don’t just nod your head; I want to hear you.”             I glanced his way and licked my lips.             “Okay.” I spoke, softly.             H stopped talking and continued down the road. His voice was calm, but it was demanding. I looked at my broken arm and sighed. I  heard him talking about a mark, but I wonder what he would do. The car filled with silence again and this time, I loved it. Talking to him probably was not the best idea at the moment.             “Are you hungry?” He asked me.                   I looked at him and nodded.             “What did I say about that?” He asked.             “Yes.”               He hopped off the highway and took me to grab something to eat at Taco Bell. After we gotten the food, he sped off to the house, which was only twenty minutes away. When he got to his house, I was in awe. His house was huge unlike the piece of s**t I was staying in before this very night. He pulled up to his car garage, which looked like it held more than two cars in it.             “Let’s go.” He said to me after he turned the car off and opened his side of the door.             I hopped out of his car with the food in my hand. He locked the door and walked up to the front door with me right behind him. He unlocked the door and he moved out of the way so I could go in first. I walked in without hesitation and he walked in afterwards, closing and locking the door as well. He walked into the kitchen and turned the light on. I stayed where I was, trying to check out his mansion.             “Come sit down and eat.” He told me.             I headed to the kitchen and took a seat at the wooden table. I opened the bag of food and grabbed a burrito out of it, ready to dig in. His phone rang and he left the kitchen to answer it.             “Yeah.” I heard him say as he disappeared down the hallway that was connected to his living room.             I finished the burrito and placed the wrapper back in the bag. I did not move, though. I just stayed in the seat and looked around the kitchen. He was very clean, I thought to myself. That’s a huge turn on. His dishes were washed and put up. His sink was cleaned out. The red and black tiled floor that he had in the kitchen was nicely swept. There was no dirt anywhere. I grabbed the food bag before I finally left the seat. I threw it away in the plastic trash bag before I headed to the refrigerator. I opened the door and saw that he had it fully stocked with juice water and of course, blood. He had sandwich meat and everything in there. My eyes, however, stayed on the blood container that was located right on the top shelf. There was about three containers of it.             “What are you looking for?” He asked me.             I bumped my head on the door of the freezer and that was not the only thing. I tried to move the arm I broke and a very sharp pain hit. I groaned, holding it down to my side. Once the pain stopped, I looked up at him with tear-filled eyes. He crossed his arms, looking back at me.             “Since you’re going to be living here, I might as well set some ground rules.” He said.             I nodded and he sighed.             “Rule one: Speak when you are spoken to. I don’t like the whole nodding of the head. You can speak, right?”             “Yes.” I said, softly.             “Perfect. When I ask you a question, you end it with Sir. I don’t want you calling me by my first name.”             “Yes, sir.”             “Rule number two: You will have chores. I do have a maid, but there are certain things she does around the house. You will clean my room and your room. You will do the kitchen and whatever you use, don’t leave it in the sink. That s**t will aggravate me and I will punish you for it. Rule number three: You will cook every day. You will bring food to me at my job. I will have an exact time of when you should bring it. If it is late, you will be punished. Rule four: You are not allowed to leave this house without my permission.”             What the f**k? As he was telling me the rules, I swear I felt like a prison. No going out? Chores? Oh my god, this dude was going to kill me.             “And rule number five: No eye contact with men.” He said, calmly. “I’m only going to tell you this once. If I see you looking at a man that’s not me…”             He walked up on me to where our bodies touched. He grabbed a fist full of hair and pulled my hair down to where I was looking up at him. He leaned down, so his mouth could touch my ear.             “I don’t think you want to find that out.” He whispered to me. “So, I suggest you follow my rules. Do you understand?”             I gulped before I agreed to his terms.             “Yes, sir.” I whispered back to him.             He moved away from me. His hand left my hair and I could feel a throbbing sensation from the spot he pulled.             “Also, I will be buying you clothes tomorrow.” He said. “I will have a specific outfit you will wear for me. Okay?”             “Yes, sir.”             “Let’s go.”             He walked towards the stairs before he turned to me. I rushed behind him and he turned back around to go up the stairs. With me right behind him, he showed me around his big mansion. He showed me my room, which had a California King already nicely made with thick beautiful blankets and nice sheets.             “I forgot to mention a couple other rules to you.” He stated. “You will be in charge of picking out my clothes and readying them for when I have to go to work. I have to be out of this house at exactly 7am every morning. Also…”             He smirked at me and I knew it was going to be a f****d up rule.             “No sex.” He stated.             My mind went completely blank when he threw that at me. Damn, that means I was going to be a virgin forever? I rolled my eyes at him and he chuckled.             “You understand?” He asked me.             “….Yes, sir.”             He walked out of my room and I sat on the bed, still in shocked. He came back and looked at me.             “Why are you in here?” He asked me.             “I thought we were done.” I said, softly.             “Come on.”             I sighed before I got off the bed and followed him to his room. He walked into his room and he turned to me.             “I need to mark you.” He said.             “I heard it was an intimate thing.” I said. “Are you sure you want to break your own rule?”             He chuckled. His red eyes locked onto mines and he bit his bottom lip as he began to remove the layer of clothes from his body.             “You’re going to want to break that rule.”
