CHAPTER 23
The Queen's Advisory Council members were surprised at the outburst of the Queen. She was usually calm and composed when she spoke with them, mincing her words carefully and almost pleading for their cooperation...but not today.
Today, the Queen demanded answers and enforced her power.
“Listen, I am old enough to know the truth. I am no longer the innocent 18-year-old lady you crowned without the slightest idea of what to do with her life, more so with the people she needed to protect. I am almost 25 years old, married, and with a child. You demanded that I follow numerous protocols and decrees, which I did. I followed everything to the best of my ability," she paused.
