I walk out of the shower feeling refreshed. After the sleepless night I had, this is the one thing that I wanted. I put on a robe and head to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee as I dial my sister’s number. I know that she is probably still asleep now or in class since it is a couple of minutes to six in the morning and she doesn’t normally wake up that early, but I feel like I need to talk to her lest I explode. I don’t plan on telling her anything that happened yesterday, at least not this soon, but I just need to hear her voice, just for it to be a reminder that I am not alone. And that, things will be fine.
