Chapter 6Despite Andreas’s protestations that Jake didn’t need to throw a party so he could meet his lover’s friends, Jake had been insistent. So here I am. I know now why Jake was nervous. He never really mentioned any of his friends—except Scott—but these are the people he’s had around him for years, both as part of his work life as well as his private life. Wandering around Jake’s kitchen, Andreas shook his head. He wouldn’t even let me do the catering.
