Chapter 5In the back of Jake’s mind was a persistent and niggling worry about showing up at Andreas’s family barbeque, where the whole family turned out in the front yard to gape at him and find him wanting. Even though Andreas had assured him repeatedly that would be far from the case, the feeling wouldn’t go away. Glancing towards the bathroom, Jake smiled at the sound of “Never on a Sunday” being sung in Andreas’s quite decent baritone floating through into the bedroom. Andreas had spent the previous night with him and they were turning up together, as a couple. That gave him a nervous thrill for a whole different reason.
