CHAPTER 5

IN THE MORNING~

CHELSIE

As usual, I woke up because of the help of my alarm clock. Without my alarm clock, I don't think I can wake up early. I walk to my bathroom. I take a shower. After fifteen minutes, I finished. I get dressed and after that I got out of my room and went downstairs, go straight to the dining area to eat my breakfast.

And as usual, I am eating alone. I think Mum is still sleeping since it is still early, and Dad? I did not see him since yesterday night. I am pretty sure, he slept with his mistress.

I sigh out.

I don't understand why Dad has to find another woman when he has already a family.

He said he loves us, but why is he hurting us?

Again I sigh out.

I finish my breakfast and then I leave the house. After fifteen minutes, I arrived at the campus.

"What time will your class be over?" Mang Tony asked me as I open the door of the car. He is our driver.

"I am not sure, Mang Tony. I will just text you." I replied.

"Okay. Have a nice day."

"Thank you, Mang Tony," I said then I got out of the car.

As I am walking down the lobby, I heard the students who are passing by me gossiping about Mang Dan, the guard here.

"Oh my god. I cannot believe what happened to Mang Dan."

"Me too. He is a kind man.

"Agree. I feel sorry for his family."

Wait, what happened to Mang Dan? Why does the atmosphere here seem so weird?

"Chelsie!" Someone called me from behind.

Turning my back around, I saw Luis coming in my direction.

"Luis," I uttered when he approaches me.

"How are you?"

"I'm good. Thanks. Wait, do you know about what happened to Mang Dan? Why are they talking about him?"

"Yeah. He is dead."

"What!?" I was shocked. "Why? What happened to him?"

"According to what I heard, a group of thieves entered the campus last night. Mang Dan caught them. But unfortunately, he was shot in the head."

"Oh my god."

"Yeah. There is a lot of police in the old gym. They are investigating the crime."

I don't know what to react to. Really. I cannot believe it happened to Mang Dan. Just like what they said, Mang Dan is a kind man. Very kind.

Gosh! How can they kill a kind and innocent old man? I hope who killed him will be put in jail soon.

"Chels, are you okay?" Luis asked me.

"Ah, yes. I just cannot still believe what happened to Mang Dan."

"Me too. I was shocked as you are. Anyway, what is your room section? I will walk with you there."

"I'm in room two."

"Okay. Let's go? You might get late."

"Okay. Let's go."

Then we walked to my room section. Anyway, I did not see the presence of that gangster, huh. It's a relief.

"What are we gonna do now? We killed that innocent guard! For sure, the police is looking for us now!" Lucas said in nervousness and fear. Panic is also visible on his face.

"Relax! Why are you seem to be scared? Tss." Said Paulo while having a cigarette.

"I can't! What if they will be caught us?"

This f*****g new bastard. Tch.

I am resting here, but he is making a noise.

"Hey! Will you keep your mouth shut or I will kill you!?" I asked him in annoyance.

"I'm sorry. I'm just... Scared." He stuttered.

"Shut up! Don't panic. They won't catch us." I said, emphasizing the word caught and I go back to sleep.

My left arm is injured right because one of Cindrix's allies shot me. Tch. I will surely kill that guy when we meet again.

"Where is Xander!?"

I hear a familiar voice come out from outside of my room. I know that voice.

"He is inside." It was Gerald who answered.

Tch. Why didn't he tell her that I am sleeping? Bastard.

Just then, the door opened and a sound of heels comes in my direction.

"Xander," she called me.

"Later. I am not in a mood to talk now."

"Did you killed that old man, didn't you?" She asked.

"So what?"

"So you did? Why!?"

I open my eyes, hold her hand and make her sat on my bed next to me.

"You know baby, it was not my fault. It was his fault. He interfered in my business."

"But still, you should not have killed him. He was innocent. He did not know what was going on. But wait, what were you doing on campus at that time?"

"I met Cindrix."

"What? You fought with him?"

"Yes."

"He did this?" She asked with her furrowed forehead.

"Exactly. Tch. That bastard, I will kill him someday."

"If you want to kill him, learn to avoid not to get hurt first." She rolled her eyes.

"Are you worried?"

"Of course, I am. Especially the police right now are investigating the crime that happened. What if you will get caught?"

"Don't worry, baby. They won't be caught me." I kissed the forehand of her hand.

"Fine. Just make sure of that."

"Yes,"

"Okay. Go to rest now. I'm going to my class."

"Okay. See you later."

CINDRIX

"Aw! What the heck!? It hurts! Do it slowly!" I shouted at my maid. She is treating my wound in my eyebrow and it f*****g hurts. Tch.

"I'm sorry, Sir. I will do it slowly." She stuttered.

"Stop it and leave!" I yelled.

And she immediately leaves my room.

I took the aid kit and throw it in the trash can. Tch. I lost my good mood this morning because Dad scolded me when he saw some bruises and wounds on my face. That f*****g old man. And now I have grounded again.

[FLASHBACK]

"What's that face again, Cindrix? Did you fought again?" Dad asked me. His tone is angry.

"You don't care," I replied. I am a gangster. What does he expect me to do? Tss. And fighting is my style, he should get used to it.

"Damn! Cindrix! When will you stop fighting, huh? Didn't I told you to quit being a gangster?"

"f**k, Dad! As if you care about me! Just mind your own business! Don't bother me. Tch!" I said and walked upstairs.

"Where are you going, huh!? Are you not going to attend your class again?"

"Classes are so f*****g boring! Attend my class if you want!"

"Seriously, you little... Okay! Do what you want. You will be grounded for three weeks! Do you understand!?"

Because of that, I need to attend my classes. Damn! I can't be grounded for three weeks! That is so f*****g too much!

Presently, I am here now on the campus, walking down the lobby with my allies. We are heading to the school cafeteria.

While we are walking, girls who are passing by us are kept on giving me a cute expression. Ew!

"Drix, have you heard the news?" Andrew asked me.

"What news?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Mang Dan is dead."

Oh, right. I remember. He was being shot by Xander.

"Forget about that," I said. It was his fault anyway.

"Drix is right. What is done is done. Let us not talk about that." Brian said.

They agreed.

In the middle of our way to the school cafeteria, someone suddenly bumped into me.

"So... So... Sorry. I... I did not mean it." It was a guy. He is a nerd.

"Tch. Get out of my way! Stupid nerd!" I yelled at him.

"What now, Drix? Should we kill him?" Patrick asked me while laughing.

The nerd looked at me. Fear wrapped his face.

"N...no, please. D...don't kill me. I am sorry. I did not mean to bump on you. I am... am sorry." Said the nerd with his shivering voice.

Fuck s**t! Is he deaf? Didn't I told him to get out of my way!?

"I said get out of my way!" I push him causing him to fell on the floor. Students around us looked at him. Some of them are running away. Tch. Of course, they should because I am angry right now because of this nerd.

"You need you are making me angry." I roughly said as I walked towards him. I was about to kick him when someone yelled out of nowhere.

"Stop it!"

I looked at someone who just yelled. She walked in the nerd's direction.

"Are you okay?" She asked the nerd.

Seriously.

"Y... Yes. I am okay." The nerd replied to her.

She helped him to stand up. Then she faces me. Wow! She is looking at me bravely.

"What do you think you are doing, huh? He already apologizes to you. Why do you have to plan on kicking him?" She asked me.

Whoah! This girl. How dare she questioned my right? She really doesn't know me.

"Chels, I'm okay. Let us go." The nerd whispered but I could hear it.

Chels? Is that her name?

And why does this nerd knows her? Are they friends?

"Speak out!" She shouted at me.

Wow! She even shouted at me. Did she forget our deal?

"Aren't you going to speak? You are really..."

"Why are you defending him!? In the first place, I am your boyfriend here!?" I cut her line. Her eyes broadened at what I said. So, she forgot it?

I was shocked at what he said. My eyes broadened in shock as well. Oh my goodness! I... I forgot about the deal. Argh!

I am completely embarrassed right now which makes me bit my lower lip. I am aware because all eyes are on us. No. All eyes are only on me. Most especially the girls. They are looking at me from head to toe as if they are going to kill me.

I looked at the jerk gangster, and he is grinning at me. Ugh! Why did he say that in here? And his voice was even loud. Gosh!

"What? Are you just going to look at me? Speak up, babe."

What did he just say? Babe? Yuck!

"OMG! Is Cindrix really her boyfriend!?"

"Gosh! No way!"

"That frog? Oh my god! I cannot believe this! I look prettier than her!"

"No way. This can't be possible. Cindrix is only mine!"

Those are some of the gossips I heard from the girls.

Really, girls? Do you guys like this jerk ruthless gangster!?

"Hey, Chels. Is he really your boyfriend?" Luis asked me in whispered.

"Uh... I will explain it to you later. Bye!" I hurriedly said then I grab Cindrix's right hand and I drag him away from the crowd.

This jerk, really.

I let go of his hand when we got to the school backyard where there are no students are around.

"Hey, are you out of your mind?" I asked him while raising my brows.

"What?" He asked, clueless.

Wow! So he is pretending now, huh?

I rolled my eyes. "Why did you do that? Why did you announced in front of them that you are..." I paused. Ugh! I can't say that he is my boyfriend. Yuck! It gives me goosebumps!

"That you are my boyfriend?"

"So what?” He raised her eyebrow at me.

“Eh? So what!?”

Argh! I’m really having goosebumps when I hear that word.

“Me. Why? Is there any a problem?”

“You have no right to refuse. Remember, you promised you would do everything I said.” He said with a serious tone of his voice.

So, I did not spoke. Whatever.

“Don’t flatter yourself. I just called you that because she was watching.”

“You don’t need to know. Anyway, get yourself ready at 7 PM. I will be fetching you.”

”And why?”

“Stop asking and do whatever I say.”

“Okay. Fine.” He is annoying. If only I didn't really love my life... ugh!

"Good. See you later then.” He said and was about to walk away but I stop him.

“Wait,

“What happened to that?” I asked, pointing the wounds in the corner of his lips and the left side of his eyebrow.

“That is none of your business. Don’t forget about 7 PM.” After he said that he left.

What a cold-hearted guy.

Whatever. I need to go back to the classroom. It’s already time for my second class and I’m already late. I need to hurry. My teacher might scolding me for being late again. I don't want to make a report paper.
