SAPPHIRE'S POV
Father leads me towards the garden after everyone left us to be alone. It has only been less than a day since I've reached the palace and honestly, I feel like I have not seen enough of my father. I mean I understand that he's King and all but I guess I always imagined our reunion to be full of sappy conversations.
"So, Sapphire, how are you liking the palace?" I shrug and smile at my father.
"I haven't really been around that much, with all that has happened..." I trail off, blushing as red as the carpet in the throne room when I see my father give me a teasing smile.
