PIPER’S POV. I heard a knock on the door, unexpected at this hour. Opening it, I found Stella, Blair's petite friend, standing there. She was dressed in a short red gown, her black hair no longer shoulder-length but cut into a stylish short bob. “I came to see Blair,” she said softly, her voice calm as always. “She is not home,” I replied. “Where is she?” Stella asked. “Probably with her mates.
